The moment the Giant Hyena King shook its head, Qin Ziwen seized the opportunity to viciously plunge the Iron Fork into its neck.

The three sharp tines sank into its flesh, and blood spurted out, splattering against the wall.

At its side, Du Yu drew a Long Spear and thrust it toward the beast’s heart.

In its death throes, the Giant Hyena King suddenly unleashed its Giant Strength, its thick legs kicking against the wall with dull THUDS.

Qin Ziwen gripped the fork’s handle for dear life, bracing his right foot against the stair behind him. He was pulled forward, and a numbing pain shot through the web of his hand.

After a long while, the Giant Hyena King’s struggles grew weaker and weaker.

A few minutes later, countless points of light burst from the Giant Hyena King’s body, finally coalescing into a green Card above its corpse.

"It’s finally over." Qin Ziwen let out a long sigh of relief. ’Thankfully, this Beast Trap was strong enough. If we’d been in a more open area, it would have been difficult to make the Giant Hyena King step on it.’

He rubbed his arm, which was aching from the exertion.

Then it lowered its head, clamped its jaws around the resident’s upper body, pinned his lower body with its other paw, and viciously wrenched him apart!

The resident’s scream was cut short.

Like a ragdoll being ripped to shreds, bits of flesh and internal organs flew everywhere as blood sprayed out in a fan-like arc.

This incredibly violent scene not only stunned the surrounding residents, but also made Qin Ziwen’s breath catch in his throat.

Instead of running, it charged toward the next closest person!

Ignoring the attacks from the Long Spears, it lowered its head and charged, knocking over the resident in front of it. A swipe of its rough paw caved in his chest on the spot.

Qin Ziwen noticed a key detail. When the Giant Hyena charged, the man’s Long Spear had indeed struck its target, but he quickly lost his grip. This lack of follow-up damage gave the beast an opportunity to close the distance.

’The core issue is still the difference in strength.’

’Of course, when facing a charging enemy like this, holding the Long Spear is the worst tactic. The best approach is to plant the butt of the spear into the ground at a forty-five-degree angle, using the earth’s stability to counter the charge.’

Soon, two more Hunting Teams joined in, forming a fan-shaped phalanx as they closed in on the Giant Hyena.

As more and more people joined, the surrounding residents spontaneously formed squads and surrounded the blood-soaked Giant Hyena in the center.

Meanwhile, the Giant Hyena still caught in the hunting net noticed that no one was holding it anymore. It glanced at the dense crowd, then bolted directly for the north gate.

Only its abandoned companion was left in the midst of the crowd.

It watched its fleeing companion.
