My Computer Leads to an Instance Dungeon
Chapter 414 - 255: Dungeon Settlement! Dungeon Life Game Version Upgrade
These coordinates can be used for material sacrifices and information exchange, but the price is steep.
Special Note: Please use with caution. Assess whether you have the ability to enter an extraordinary world and act within your means."
After reading the appraisal results, Fang Zhen immediately confirmed that his judgment was correct.
The three diamond-shaped points of light were spatial coordinates.
He thought for a moment. Deciding to be cautious, he refrained from using his Spiritual Power to communicate with the three points of light.
He had actually already learned how to use these kinds of control coordinates. All he had to do was focus his mental energy and attention to pull one of the points of light over and give it form.
However, his current power level wasn’t high enough to be dealing with demons or devils.
To be honest, he wasn’t particularly interested in such evil beings anyway.
After appraising the three special, non-corporeal coordinates, Fang Zhen saw another system notification.
"Notification: Player ’Fang Zhen’ has cleared the Nameless World dungeon on Nightmare difficulty. Permissions upgraded.
Permission Upgrade 1: You may now spend 100 Merit Points to stay in a previously cleared dungeon (Nightmare difficulty or higher) for 10 days.
Stays are in 10-day increments. Each stay costs a minimum of 100 Merit Points. Time spent is measured in 10-day units; any stay less than 10 days will still be counted as a full 10 days.
Permission Upgrade 2: Player ’Fang Zhen’ detected clearing the Nameless World on Nightmare difficulty. As this is your first time clearing a Nightmare difficulty dungeon, you have received a permission upgrade.
This is a hardware permission upgrade.
You will receive a new, bound piece of external hardware for the Dungeon Life Game. Would you like to receive the hardware now?"
Fang Zhen froze for a moment after seeing the notification.
’What’s going on?’
’There’s new hardware? Is someone from the Dungeon Life Game going to mail me some new equipment?’
Overcome with curiosity, he clicked the "Receive New Hardware" option.
Just then, Fang Zhen heard a CLICK from the living room.
He immediately stood up and walked into the living room.
In the living room stood the two black pillars that opened the Light Gate for the Dungeon Life Game. The one on the left opened up in the middle, ejecting a black wristband.
Fang Zhen stared at the wristband, taken aback.
It looked something like a smartwatch, only it was completely black.
He had assumed the new hardware would be mailed to him, never expecting it was already hidden inside one of the pillars.
Fang Zhen walked over to it.
By the time he reached it, however, the opening in the black pillar had already closed, obscuring the space within.
Fang Zhen bent down and picked up the black wristband from the floor.
He saw that it was a black strap of uniform width, about two fingers wide, just long enough to wrap once around his wrist.
On its surface was something that resembled an energy stone, a bit like a smartwatch screen, but it was pure black, soft, and thin—not crystalline.
It felt like a soft, pliant black stone, completely different to the touch from a phone screen.
Fang Zhen put the wristband on his left wrist.
As soon as it was on his wrist, he felt a strange connection form between himself and the band.
It was a peculiar connection, like the familiar feeling of a phone that, after long use, becomes like an external organ.
He zoned out for a second, then, following that strange connection, he mentally activated the black wristband.
In an instant, the band on his wrist projected two illusory, black pillars.
And between the two illusory black pillars, an ethereal light emerged.
