My Harem of Dangerous and Crazy Women as a Reincarnated Necromancer
Chapter 143: A Display of Disproportionate Sadism
Upon arriving at the village, the first thing he noticed was that it was small, with barely thirty or forty wooden and straw houses distributed on either side of a main dirt street that ran through the place from end to end.
The man in the white suit entered down the main street walking unhurriedly, while his eyes scanned the houses and the people around him.
There were elves with pointed ears looking at him from the doorways of their houses, beast-men with animal features who stopped midway through their tasks to stare at him, and women with characteristics of different species peering out from windows with expressions of caution.
’I always saw characters like this in games and movies, but having them in front of me now... is disgusting,’ he thought, passing by a man with ram horns who instinctively stepped aside.
Then he passed by a group of children with ears of different animals who stopped playing to look at him with wide eyes.
’More small freaks.’
Then past a stall where a man with scales on his arms was selling fruit.
’And that one is especially ugly.’
But then his gaze crossed with an elf woman who was standing in the doorway of what appeared to be a clothing shop.
Long silver hair, pointed ears, delicate features and light-colored eyes.
The man looked her up and down without any attempt at discretion.
"Well..." he murmured, looking her up and down without the slightest attempt at subtlety. "At least not everyone here is a freak."
A few meters further ahead, sitting on a bench in front of a house, was a young woman with cat ears and a tail, brown hair and green eyes, who was sewing something in her lap.
"This one isn’t bad either," he said in a low voice with a half-smile that had nothing friendly about it.
The cat girl looked up, saw the enormous man in the white suit staring at her, and quickly lowered her head back to her sewing.
The man continued walking until he reached the center of the village.
It was a small plaza with a water well in the middle and wooden benches around it.
And that’s when he realized that everyone in the village was watching him. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"What the fuck do you think you’re staring at?" he said out loud, loud enough for everyone nearby to hear.
Upon hearing him, several people immediately looked away, some went inside their houses, and the children who had been watching were dragged inside by their mothers.
But not everyone left.
A man approached, walking from the other side of the plaza.
He was an elf, with gray hair tied in a low ponytail, and he also had wrinkles that marked his face, though he wasn’t quite an old man yet, and he was almost half a meter shorter than the man in the white suit.
"Please forgive us," said the elf in a kind voice, making a small bow. "Most of the inhabitants of this village have never seen a human before, so your presence causes them some... curiosity."
The man in the white suit looked down at the elf.
"And who the fuck are you?" he said in a tone that made no effort to be courteous.
"I am the chief of this village," the elf responded, maintaining his bow. "My name is Aldren, and if there is anything you need, I will do my best to help you."
The man looked at him for another second and then laughed.
"Help me?" he repeated. "You?"
"Whatever is within my power, sir."
"Well, actually there is something you can help me with, old man," said the man, lowering his head to bring it closer to the elf’s face.
"It will be my pleasure," responded the elf, somewhat uncomfortable.
"I want you to gather all the inhabitants of the village in the center of the plaza," he said in a tone that was no longer a request. "All of them. Without exception."
"May I ask for what purpose, sir?"
"I just want to ask them a few questions."
The elf stared at him for a moment, as if trying to assess the situation.
"What kind of ques—?"
But the elf didn’t finish speaking because the hand of the suited man came to rest on the elf’s shoulder. And then he squeezed it, making the crunching of bone audible.
The elf opened his mouth but didn’t scream. He bit his lip so hard it bled while his knees buckled.
"Did you not hear me?" said the man, not releasing the shoulder, leaning down until his face was centimeters from the elf’s. "Gather everyone. Now."
"I-I’ll do it..." responded the elf, his voice strangled by pain. "I’ll do it right away..."
The man released him.
"Don’t take long," he said with a mocking smile.
Then the elf nodded with his head down and walked away limping toward the houses, knocking on doors and speaking softly with the inhabitants while holding his shoulder.
"Hey you," said the suited man aloud. "What does this DarkLord69 look like?"
Then a window appeared in front of him.
[Target Description]
Height: 1.80m
Build: Slender
Skin: Pale
Hair: Short Black
[Current Location: NEAR]
"About time you were useful, you piece of shit," he said in a sarcastic tone as the window disappeared.
The man crossed his arms and waited.
However, he didn’t have to wait long, because in less than ten minutes, the elf had managed to gather all the inhabitants of the village in the central plaza.
Everyone was standing in irregular rows in front of the man in the white suit, packed closely together, with expressions ranging from confusion to fear.
There were men, women, children, elderly people. Elves, beast-men, cat girls, rabbit girls, people with horns, people with tails, people with small wings.
All looking at the enormous man who stood before them with his arms crossed.
’Well,’ he thought, looking at the rows. ’This old dying bastard sure is efficient... Maybe I’ll leave him alive.’
The suited man walked toward the first row while opening his system screen so that the person in front of him could see it, and pointed to the target description.
"Have you seen anyone like this?" he asked, looking at the first one in line, a woman with cat ears who was visibly trembling.
"N-no, sir... never..."
Upon hearing her answer, the man smiled while extending his enormous hand and gently stroking her head, as if she were a pet.
"What a cute little kitty," he murmured.
For a second, the girl seemed to relax a bit at the gesture, but then, in a quick movement, the man closed his hand around her neck and twisted his wrist with force. Making the crunching of her vertebrae breaking echo clearly through the plaza.
Upon witnessing the scene, the crowd stumbled back gasping in unison; some began to cry, while others covered their mouths.
The suited man threw the cat girl’s corpse to the side and continued forward. Next was a sturdy dwarf with thick beard and very wide eyes.
"Have you seen anyone like this?"
The dwarf swallowed hard, sweating profusely.
"I-it’s possible, sir... I think I saw a pale human with black hair a few days ago... maybe..."
The man in the white suit narrowed his eyes with annoyance.
"Stop lying to me, you shit dwarf."
And without giving him time to respond, the suited man raised his foot and stomped it forcefully on the dwarf’s head, causing his skull to crush with a wet sound, splattering blood and brains on those who were closest.
Then he moved to the next one.
A slender girl with small colorful bird wings at the lower part of her back, almost at hip height.
"Have you seen anyone like this?"
The girl opened her mouth but no sound came out, just a stifled whimper. Terror had left her mute.
The man waited two seconds.
"Are you deaf or what the fuck?"
But not receiving an answer, his expression twisted into pure irritation. Then he extended his hands to grab the two fragile wings by the base and pull forcefully.
The wings tore with a fleshy sound, like ripped fabric, and the poor girl let out a heartbreaking scream before falling to the ground writhing in pain, with two streams of blood gushing from her back.
The ripped wings hung from the man’s hands for a moment before he threw them aside like garbage.
"People not answering me puts me in a really shitty mood," growled the suited man.
Next was a dark elf, with tan skin and green eyes who looked at him with a mixture of fear and barely contained anger.
"Why are you doing this to us?" asked the elf with a trembling but audible voice. "What do you want from us?"
The man in the white suit looked at him for a second, almost surprised that someone would dare to speak to him like that.
And without saying a word, he struck him with the back of his hand.
The blow was so powerful that the elf flew several meters, crashing into the wall of a wooden house. The impact destroyed the structure and the elf was embedded in the rubble, and just seconds later, a broken oil lamp inside the house caught fire to everything.
The man in the white suit brushed off his hand with annoyance and looked at the rest of the crowd, which was now on the verge of total panic.
"Does anyone else want to ask me stupid questions?" he said aloud.
Receiving no answer, he raised his hand over his shoulder, closing his fingers around the grip of the Great Greatsword, ready to finish off those remaining.
But then several pairs of footsteps were heard approaching from the entrance of the village.
The suited man turned his head in that direction.
And then he saw them.
A group of people entering the village.
At the front was a woman with black rabbit ears who had stopped abruptly with her eyes completely wide open.
Behind her, a group of armed women who were quickly deploying to the sides.
And in the center of the group, a man with a slender build, pale skin, and black hair who was looking directly at him.
"Well, well, well look who’s here"
