My Infinite Cultivation System
Chapter 150: Overwhelming combat prowess
Alex looked at the countless attacks rushing toward him and casually tossed another piece of popcorn into his mouth.
The entire valley trembled.
Thousands of geniuses attacked at the exact same moment. Sword lights tore through the sky like meteor showers. Spears pierced forward with enough force to shatter mountains. Chains and whips slithered through the air like venomous dragons. Energy beams distorted space itself as they surged toward him from every direction.
And the terrifying part was the synchronization.
No one got in each other’s way.
No one mistimed their attacks.
No one held back.
Their humiliation had united them more perfectly than any alliance ever could.
For the first time since the tournament began, every participant shared the exact same goal.
Beat the living hell out of this bastard.
The spectators outside widened their eyes.
Even the Supremes leaned forward slightly.
"Interesting," one of them muttered.
"This level of synchronization among random geniuses is absurd."
"They are truly trying to kill him."
Alexander crossed his arms silently, but even he had to admit this situation was ridiculous. Thousands of top-tier prodigies attacking together was not something even ordinary higher realm experts could handle casually.
Meanwhile, Alex finally moved.
He stood up slowly from the rock.
The attacks were already only a few meters away.
Then, under everyone’s stunned gaze, he bent down calmly and started doing push-ups.
One.
Two.
Three.
The sword energy passed inches above his back.
Four.
A spear narrowly missed his head.
Five.
An energy beam exploded behind him.
The participants almost coughed blood.
"This bastard is still mocking us!"
"Kill him!"
"Destroy him!"
Alex stood up after the tenth push-up and rolled his shoulders casually.
Then he stretched his arms.
Crack.
Crack.
His bones released crisp sounds.
He rotated his neck lazily while the gigantic wave of attacks continued rushing toward him.
Then he smiled.
"Alright," he said calmly. "Warm-up complete."
Boom.
His figure vanished.
The next moment, a thunderous shockwave exploded in the middle of the battlefield.
A genius wielding twin sabers widened his eyes as Alex suddenly appeared in front of him.
Too fast.
Way too fast.
Before he could react, Alex’s left hand moved lightly.
Slap.
The sound echoed beautifully across the battlefield.
The saber genius spun like a broken windmill before crashing into five other participants.
At the same time, Alex’s right hand remained behind his back the entire time.
The audience instantly erupted.
"What?"
"He is using one hand?"
"Against all of them?!"
Inside the battlefield, the attacks became even crazier.
Hundreds of blades descended simultaneously.
Alex stepped forward lightly.
His movements were graceful beyond belief.
He tilted his head slightly to avoid a sword strike while his left palm redirected a spear toward another incoming weapon. Then he twisted his waist, narrowly avoiding a whip before grabbing it casually and yanking the owner directly into a flying kick from another participant.
Boom.
The poor genius coughed blood and disappeared into the distance like a cannonball.
Alex moved like flowing water.
No wasted movement.
No panic.
No hesitation.
Thousands of attacks surrounded him from every direction, yet not a single one could touch him.
It looked less like a battle and more like a dance.
A beautiful, violent dance.
A giant axe descended toward his skull.
Without even looking, Alex raised two fingers and caught the blade.
The axe wielder’s pupils shrank.
"What the—"
Before he could finish, Alex flicked the axe upward, causing the giant weapon to smash directly into an incoming lightning beam.
Boom!
The resulting explosion swallowed dozens of participants.
Then Alex spun elegantly.
A rain of punches and kicks descended toward him from all directions.
He countered every single one using only his left hand.
Palm strike.
Deflection.
Grab.
Throw.
Slap.
Elbow.
Every movement flowed perfectly into the next.
He bent backward unnaturally, allowing dozens of sword lights to pass inches above his chest. Then he planted one foot into the ground and swept his leg casually.
Boom.
Hundreds of geniuses lost balance simultaneously.
Before they could recover, Alex appeared among them like a phantom.
Slap slap slap slap slap!
A terrifying chain reaction began.
Participants flew everywhere like fireworks.
Some crashed into trees.
Some smashed into cliffs. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Some collided with each other midair.
One unlucky spear user got slapped so hard his own spear spun around and pinned his pants to a tree.
The audience outside completely lost control.
"Hahahahaha!"
"What is this?!"
"This is the greatest tournament in history!"
Even many Supremes were trying not to laugh.
Alexander himself looked utterly speechless.
"How did this brat become like this?" he thought.
He knew Alex was talented.
He knew Alex was monstrous.
But this was absurd.
Thousands of Genesis-grade geniuses were attacking together, yet Alex was treating them like children in a playground.
Inside the battlefield, the participants became increasingly furious.
"Don’t stop!"
"He only has one hand!"
"Corner him!"
Immediately, the formation shifted.
The geniuses began attacking with even greater precision.
Energy barriers sealed escape routes.
Spatial locks restricted movement.
Long-range attacks forced Alex into close combat while melee fighters closed in from every side.
For the first time, the pressure actually increased.
Several Supremes nodded in approval.
"Good adjustment."
"Their combat instincts are excellent."
"Now let’s see how he responds."
Alex glanced around calmly.
Then he smiled again.
"Not bad."
Boom.
His body exploded forward.
The ground beneath him shattered instantly.
This time, he stopped dodging completely.
He entered the center of the formation head-on.
A swordsman thrust toward his throat.
Alex slapped the flat side of the blade, changing its trajectory by a few centimeters. That tiny movement caused the sword to pierce directly into another participant’s energy technique.
Boom!
An explosion erupted.
Alex walked through the flames casually.
A giant hammer descended toward him from above.
Without raising his right hand, he kicked upward lightly.
Crack!
The hammer shattered instantly.
The owner stared blankly at the broken weapon.
Alex grabbed his face with one hand and used him as a shield against seven incoming attacks.
Boom boom boom!
The poor genius almost fainted on the spot.
Then Alex threw him into a crowd.
Chaos exploded again.
He moved continuously now.
Like lightning.
Like flowing water.
Like an unstoppable current.
A whip wrapped around his arm.
The wielder’s eyes lit up.
"Got him!"
Alex merely looked at him.
Then he pulled lightly.
The whip user screamed as he flew toward Alex uncontrollably.
Slap.
He immediately joined the growing pile of unconscious geniuses.
A beast tamer summoned dozens of giant spirit beasts simultaneously.
Massive wolves, armored rhinos, flame birds, and thunder serpents rushed toward Alex together.
The spectators gasped.
"That combination attack is dangerous."
Alex simply cracked his neck.
Then he entered the middle of the beasts barehanded.
Boom!
A giant wolf flew upward.
Boom!
A rhino rolled across the valley.
Boom!
A serpent got tied into a knot.
The audience stared blankly as Alex punched, kicked, and slapped giant spirit beasts into submission using pure physical combat.
Not a single talent.
Not a single special ability.
Just raw combat skill.
The entire battlefield had become his stage.
The participants finally realized something horrifying.
Alex was adapting.
No matter how they attacked, he instantly understood their rhythm.
He saw through their coordination.
He predicted their movements.
The longer they fought, the worse it became for them.
"He is reading us!"
"Change patterns!"
"Attack randomly!"
Unfortunately, it was too late.
Alex had already entered that terrifying state where combat itself seemed natural to him.
He moved among thousands of opponents with impossible precision.
One participant unleashed a massive beam attack.
Alex sidestepped slightly.
The beam accidentally erased another group behind him.
"YOU IDIOT!"
"I COULDN’T STOP IT!"
Another participant charged with a spear.
Alex redirected him with a single palm movement, causing him to spear straight into the ground headfirst.
Only his legs remained visible outside.
The spectators could no longer sit.
The entire audience had stood up unconsciously.
Their eyes were fixed on the battlefield.
No one wanted to miss even a second.
Because despite the ridiculous humor, despite the constant slaps and humiliation, the combat itself was breathtaking.
This was pure skill.
Pure dominance.
One man against thousands.
And he was winning effortlessly.
A Supreme slowly nodded.
"Not bad."
Another Supreme sighed softly.
"He is the Chaos-grade talent holder, correct?"
"What overwhelming power."
Even those who disliked Alex earlier had to admit it now.
This battle was extraordinary.
Alexander stared silently at the screen.
He could barely believe what he was seeing.
Alex had not even cultivated for very long compared to these old monsters. Yet his combat sense had already reached a horrifying level.
"How did he become this powerful?" Alexander wondered internally.
Meanwhile, inside the valley, the battle finally approached its conclusion.
The participants were exhausted.
Bruised.
Humiliated.
Terrified.
Thousands of geniuses now lay scattered across the battlefield like fallen leaves after a storm.
Some were unconscious.
Some could barely breathe.
Some were still twitching while muttering curses weakly.
And in the center of it all stood Alex.
Perfectly unharmed.
