Chapter 59: Let’s get into the main job, Miss Villainess (10)

Restrained, the mind-controlled servants didn’t show fear. They laughed instead. Their flat voices filled the room like an eerie howl as they stared at Theo.

"So you are the one who defeated Jahreon?" One of the asked.

"And controlled his Inner Demon?" The other followed.

Theo didn’t waver. He showed a playful smirk and crossed his hands instead. "That’s right. You can call me Abyss Crusher."

Hearing his words, their faces immediately distorted. "YOU ARE ASKING FOR DEATH!!!"

Theo chuckled. "I don’t know about that. If you want to bring even more Demons for me to tame... Then..."

He didn’t finish his worlds. Yet, his face told them everything. Which angered them further. They started cursing him. One of them even began to mumbling something incoherrently. "I have remembered your face now! I’ll search you, follow you, eventually map everything about your life. I’ll start looking for your face, stalk you, eventually memorize everything about your days. I’ll seek you, grasp your trails, before I go for the most grandeur execution!"

Tizmilly’s drained all of its shade. If only the mouths they used to speak were not Gyllena’s servants, then she would’ve killed all of them by now.

Theo, on the other hand, only shrugged. He moved like someone who knew everything about them. Effortlessly, he smirked like a ruling figure. No words needed. His composed, playful acting alone was enough to intimidate them. They felt like a sheeps running around the grassland, while Theo was their shepherd, observed them from the moment they were born, even knowing who they were having a relationship with.

As the laughters and curses stopped coming out from their mouths, it was Theo’s turn to laugh.

"Abyssal New Gate," he said as he stepped forward in a slow, relaxed manner. "Feel free to mobilize your best people to chase me."

He paused for a beat, before continued once he took another step. "Feel free, to attempt to silence me."

And another step. "However... Your effort shall yields nothing but dust. That’s right. Like a child who was trying to climb a tree, yet failed and injured himself in the process."

He then stopped right before the male servant who had cold face among the others. The man tried to spit on him, but Jahreon moved then and used a sheet to block his filthy mouth soup to touch Theo.

Theo chuckled again. "A loser’s desperation," he mocked.

They gritted their teeth. If they could kill someone with their eyes, then Theo would have been in danger by now.

After that, he approached Jahreon. "Could you put the ones who controlled them into your Illusion world?" He asked.

Jahreon showed a difficult face before answering. "That will be hard, master. What we face now were only splits of their minds—they didn’t exist as awhole, which make it impossible for me to put them into a strong technique like Illusion world. However..."

"I could still send a weak but not less impactful spell to their minds," Jahreon whispered to Theo. "The spell will acts like a disease, infected their spilt minds before they return to their main minds. The damage will spreads once they fused later."

Theo smiled after he heard that. "Well, show what you have, then."

"Yes, master." Jahreon bowed a little before he extended his hand toward the restrained mind-controlled servants.

The dark mana around the mansion was almost being consumed by Dorita’s spores by now, but Jahreon could still use it for one or two spells. He gathered them in his palm before he casted the darkness toward their foes’ minds.

Theo waved his hand toward them as the spell envelloped their consiousness. "Good bye, Apostles."

Just after the spell clashed with their minds, the spores finished consuming the dark mana around the mansion. The sign of it was the sudden appearance of small mushrooms in various places in the mansion. Like the back garden, which suddenly had a packed mushrooms jungle. Or the yard, even Gyllena’s room, and of course, in this room.

Tizmilly looked at the mushroom carpet that grew from the floor, pertified. "Wh-what is this!?" She squeked, backing off from the room.

’Ah, that’s right. Tizmilly didn’t know about this...’ Theo thought, recalled that he hadn’t informed Tizmilly about the spores Dorita had gave him and Gyllena.

"Don’t worry," he said, stopped his acting and putting back his usual smile. "The mushroom is my doing. If they have grown up to this point, then it means the mansion is now free from dark mana."

Tizmilly nodded hesitatingly. "I-I see..."

However, the lack of mana also affected Jahreon’s spell. His dark tentacles lost their forms and evaporated after the mushroom grew up. His Inner Demon also forced into slumber due to the lack of the dark mana. His pupils were back to normal after he carefully lay the servants on the floor.

"But why did you act like that toward them?" Tizmilly asked curiously as she approached him, his steps hesitated when she was about to step on the mushroom.

Theo took a deep breath to calm his nerves. His appearance might not show that, but his heart had been beating his ribs since then.

"To make them hesitate, of course." He replied.

Jahreon glanced at him, frowning. "Do you think that was enough to stop them?"

Theo shrugged in response.

"I am not sure," he answered, smiling weakly. "I can’t completely control their decisions. However, it should be enough for now. At least it will make the Grandmaster hesitates... Right?"

"The Grandmaster?" Tizmilly repeated the title. She looked at Jahreon, silently inquiring the detail from him.

"The Grandmaster is the highest position in the Abyssal New Gate," Jahreon explained, still frowning. "But why would he hesitate? His might is enough to flatten this city if he wanted it."

Theo widened his eyes a little at Jahreon. "Wait, didn’t you know about him better than other Apostles?"

Jahreon looked back confusedly. "No, he never even showed up in person before me."

Slowly, Theo frowned. He brought his palm up to cover his mouth. His face became a little pale. As he turned his back to them, a word escaped his mouth. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"F*ck."
