The situation in the palace hall was not something William or Alexios could handle. Even Saintess Aria couldn’t contain her surprise when she saw the change in her guard’s attitude. For some reason, the guard’s body was thrown backwards and slammed against the hall door of the palace.

The statement given by William left the guards of Saintess Aria completely speechless. They all knew that what William said was true. Because they were the first to dare attack William, they could only accept every insult William threw at them.

After the cube covered every side of Saintess Aria, the killing pressure that had previously suppressed her disappeared and returned to how it was before.

The strength displayed by the maidservant surprised William slightly. It was not an easy feat for an expert to relieve others from William’s terrifying pressure. However, the killing intent emitted by William was still enough to bring down any holy knight.

Both the minds and bodies of the holy knights had completely fallen into despair. No one understood what had happened to the minds of those holy knights. In contrast, the maidservant was still able to maintain her consciousness even after facing William’s terrifying power.

After Saintess Aria left the main palace, William’s previously smiling expression returned to a cold one. The holy knights who had previously been lying in the palace hall had already been taken away by Marie using her power.

Anna’s gaze stared relentlessly at William like that of a wild animal. As a woman who had been by William’s side for a month, she knew that William’s reaction towards guests who dared to act impolitely towards him would never lead to anything good.

Anna’s wandering thoughts disappeared after she felt William kiss her lips directly. Even though Anna was shocked and embarrassed, she no longer wanted to have sex and decided to move away from William’s lap.

Anna’s body, which was still full of pain after having sex with William, was no longer something she could endure. For now, Anna’s goal was to rest and recover her stamina.

The evening passed. In a palace garden filled with roses and green grass, moonlight radiated and covered nearly every part of the garden. William’s gaze turned towards the full moon, causing him to remember his past self.

The death of William’s previous self had also occurred beneath a full moon shining above the clouds. Now, William had become another version of William himself. Therefore, he no longer truly cared about the William who had died because of Selena’s secret betrayal.
