"Mr. Ye, Hunting Team 2 and Hunting Team 6 must not fail, otherwise the blow to the organization would be too significant." Green said urgently.

The Fourth Elder, Twain, and Green were still recovering from the shock brought by the Shadow Guard when Fire Phoenix appeared under one of the surveillance cameras, and Fire Phoenix’s look was presented before them.

Fire Phoenix smiled sarcastically and then mimicked a throat-slitting gesture.

Soon after, Fire Phoenix’s figure vanished.

But Fire Phoenix’s mocking expression, ruthless killing gesture, was deeply imprinted in the hearts of the Fourth Elder, Twain, and Green.

"That was Fire Phoenix, right?" The Fourth Elder exclaimed.

"Certainly, it was Fire Phoenix, known within the God Organization to have comprehensive combat abilities second only to Terminator." Twain acknowledged recognizing Fire Phoenix, notably less so for the Shadow Guard, but was very familiar with Fire Phoenix.

"Fire Phoenix being at the Blood Wolf Base, it’s understandable why the Shadow Guard is here. It’s rumored that Shadow Guard is divided into two branches, one entirely female, one entirely male, with Butcher leading the male branch and Fire Phoenix leading the female branch. Fire Phoenix and the Shadow Guard appearing all at once at the Blood Wolf Base, it seems our victory over the four bases has left Deceitful Fox unable to accept, now making a desperate counterattack, even deploying such devastating forces as Fire Phoenix and Shadow Guard, truly unexpected." Green commented.

"What good is talking about that now, Hunting Team 2 and Hunting Team 6 have been severely damaged, quickly think of a solution." The Fourth Elder shouted.

"Order the five main hunting teams to retreat entirely, how many teams can return depends on their fortune. No one can intervene, it depends solely on their capabilities." Ye Fan declared.

"Yes, yes, retreat, once back we can deliberate on other matters." The Fourth Elder realized, instantly commanded, "Everyone, retreat at the quickest pace, at any cost, retreat!"

Yet, amidst the combat, how is retreat possible?

Hunting Team 3, Hunting Team 8, and Hunting Team 13 encountered no substantial resistance, but upon entering the core area of the Blood Wolf Base, Fire Phoenix allowed the passage of these three teams into the central area.

With the retreat order issued, although Eddy, Walker, Smith, and Oliver questioned why such an order was given, they harbored no hesitation in execution, retreating rapidly.

Smith’s Hunting Team 8, Oliver’s Hunting Team 13 met no obstruction, promptly commenced withdrawal.

However, Walker’s and Eddy’s Hunting Team 3 encountered obstacles.

If Fire Phoenix employed the hidden strengths within the base, obliteration of all five hunting teams would be achievable, yet Fire Phoenix did not act thus, adhering solely to the agreement with Ye Fan to annihilate three hunting teams, thereby inflicting pain upon Sky Net.

Hunting Team 2 and Hunting Team 6 sought to retreat but found it impossible.

Over at Hunting Team 2, Leng Mei led the Shadow Guard members by her side, launching fierce attacks, reaping the lives of the team members in brief encounters and skirmishes. Hunting Team 2 lost half its might.

Even in its prime, Hunting Team 2 would find escape from Leng Mei’s grasp impossible for anyone.

Much less in its current state.

"Fight, carve a bloody path, charge out!" Valen and Evan knew clearer than anyone, if Hunting Team 2 perishes entirely here, that’s annihilation. Only by escaping with some members can the team be rebuilt. If all die, truly nothing can be salvaged.

Even if Hunting Team 2 is rebuilt, it wouldn’t be the same anymore.

Thus, survival is a must.

This, in Valen and Evan’s minds, is the most urgent desire.

"Kill, slaughter everyone, leave no survivors." Leng Mei’s voice remained cold, evident with disdain towards Hunting Team 2.
