Chen Ze was in an extremely bad mood. The blood on Kayako’s face had dripped onto the floor, and he even noticed Kayako vomiting a pool of blood onto the ground, seemingly on purpose.

Nevertheless, he pretended to know nothing and continued to sell the house to family after family. After the issue escalated, they finally invited a Mage to perform a ritual, and then he sold it to this family.

The reason the man entered the house of Ju-On was solely because the lady of the house had discovered something and brought him in. It was only after the man entered that Kayako cruelly killed the lady owner.

"That’s all I know! Please let me go! I did it for my daughter and wife!" The man cried loudly, his tears and snot mingling together, making him look very ugly.

Chen Ze did not say a word. He questioned the truthfulness of the story because from the start, the narrative cast the man in a light of someone coerced by life into committing heinous acts.

Moreover, the man was supposedly doing it for his seriously ill wife and daughter, and he even prostrated himself in a dogeza, the picture of remorse.

But Chen Ze just felt something was not quite right, the man’s tale sounded too much like a story.

If only he could know whether the man was telling the truth or not...

Chen Ze shook his head; without the ability to read minds, there really was no way to deal with this man.

"Manager, he lied," Betty suddenly chimed in.

As the blood-stained Kayako crawled closer, even touching his face with her hand, the man finally stopped defending himself.

"Disgusting human..." After listening to the man’s tale, Betty looked at him with disdain and then quickly noticed the look in Chen Ze’s eyes.

"Cough cough... Despicable person." Chen Ze didn’t bother with Betty’s change of words; he was pondering a question.

Was there any need for a scum, who gambled away his wife and daughter to the Extreme Path Organization to settle his debts, to live?

Chen Ze expressionlessly undid the restraints, then turned away, listening to the man’s screams behind him without empathy.

When he sensed that the man’s life force had disappeared, Chen Ze turned back and immobilized the approaching Kayako once again.

"Manager, I thought you were going to spare him," Betty looked at Chen Ze.

Chen Ze rolled his eyes; he was no saint. Besides, for such scum, death was a gift.

"To spare him or not is God’s business, and my job is to send him to see God," Chen Ze recited a line he couldn’t remember where he had heard.

Then Chen Ze took out the stone Stan had given him, which Stan hadn’t explained how to use.

"Am I supposed to throw it?" Chen Ze tentatively tossed the stone, and it hit Kayako in the face.

Kayako didn’t react but stared at Chen Ze with hateful eyes.

"So how exactly am I supposed to use this thing?" Chen Ze was at a loss for words.

Then Chen Ze threw the stone several more times, feeling as if in an animated scene, Kayako’s head would already be covered with bumps.

"Umm, manager," Betty couldn’t bear to watch any longer. After all, the other was a Grudge Entity with the power of a curse. Could you show a little respect?

"What is it?" Chen Ze turned, puzzled.

"I think the stone isn’t reacting because the Grudge Entity’s true form isn’t here," Betty quickly explained.

"I see," Chen Ze nodded, then manipulated the Magic Circle, extinguished the Grudge Entity of Kayako, threw the two bodies out, and casually placed the stone in the female corpse’s pocket before flinging it out too.

In the house tainted by Ju-On, Kayako’s resentful gaze fell on the suddenly appearing bodies, and then she saw something in the corpse’s pocket flicker.
