Lady Parker widened her eyes in shock, as if she couldn’t believe her son would say such a thing.

He had defended a woman, accusing her of failing in her duties, accusing her of not being a good mother.

Lady Parker was almost driven mad with anger.

She believed that her son must have been bewitched.

Deep down, she felt ever more dissatisfied with Joanna Lawrence, more disgusted even.

"Frank, are you accusing me?" Lady Parker looked deeply hurt, "You’re criticizing me for the sake of that woman. Is she now more important to you than your own mother?"

"Because of her in the past, our Parker family and the Heath family have stopped associating. The Parker Group also suffered a great deal. Do you want to continue doing things for her, inviting even more ridicule for us, making our Parker family the laughing stock of everyone?"

"It’s not that I want to sever our relationship." Frank continued to maintain his calm demeanor, "You said that I’ve caused you to lose face. If so, if we are no longer mother and son, nobody can link what I do to the Parker family."

"And you won’t be laughed at any more."

Lady Parker finally heard him clearly this time.

The son she had doted on from childhood had actually suggested severing their mother-son relationship.

He was willing to sever his relationship with his own mother for a married woman!

Lady Parker was so angry that her entire body began to shake.

"Fine. You want to sever our relationship? Then you might as well cut ties with the Parker family altogether. Stop telling people that you are the young master of the Parker family and the CEO of the Parker Group. If you want to cut ties, then do it completely and thoroughly. From then on, everything of the Parker family will have nothing to do with you."

Lady Parker was extremely angry when she said this.

She couldn’t believe that Frank could give up everything from the Parker family for one woman, that he could abandon his noble identity as Mr. Parker and his current privileged life.
