Chapter 550: Chapter 551: You Will Always Be the Most Important in My Heart

The moment Melody Thorne’s figure exited the conference room, Jared Quinn’s previously pleasant demeanor shifted dramatically as he turned icy, his stern features exuding a chilling aura aimed at those old geezers.

The atmosphere in the conference room remained oppressively gloomy all afternoon; not to mention leaving work early, they almost felt like they were about to perish in that room.

In Harold Chapman’s prison, Sheryl Lancaster was completely locked up, while Luna Lancaster stood outside the door, looking at the woman she once called sister, clenching her fingers tightly. "If you hadn’t been so ruthless to me before, how could I possibly choose to help Jared Quinn? I am your blood sister, and to help you deal with that vixen, I almost died. And you? To shut me up, you didn’t hesitate to threaten my life!"

"Was it me trying to kill you, or you trying to destroy me?" Sheryl Lancaster closed her eyes and looked away. "We could have succeeded; it was all ruined because you suddenly posted on Weibo, saying you wanted to clear things up and wrecked all our plans!"

"It was you, you barged into the hospital to kill me!" Luna Lancaster screamed hysterically. "To make sure I didn’t talk, you pretended to visit me in the hospital and drugged me. Did you think that just because the soup was spilled, I wouldn’t find out?"

"What soup? I’ve never even been to the hospital," Sheryl Lancaster’s eyes suddenly turned fierce as they landed on Luna.

After shouting, both women were equally shocked, simultaneously realizing they’d been played.

"You, it’s all you, you fool!" Sheryl screamed in breakdown, her body shaking with anger.

"I... I..." Luna stood there in a daze, looking frantically at the woman inside and stammering, "Even if it was me, you still laid a hand on me afterward!"

As the two women continued to quarrel, Harold Chapman and Chloe Summers observed the scene clearly and turned to leave.

"Is your arm okay?" Harold glanced down, his eyes resting on her fair arm.

"It hurts, Harold," Chloe immediately lifted her arm in front of him, showing him clearly. Her skin was broken, and the pain inside felt like it was on fire.

Harold’s brow furrowed slightly as he withdrew his gaze, looking straight ahead. "Let’s go; we’ll reapply the medicine."

"Harold, today is Valentine’s Day. Can we go out for a walk?" Chloe trailed behind Harold, persistently pleading. "You’re free tonight; let’s go out together."

"Harold..."

"Harold..."

Quinn Villa.

Melody Thorne prepared a table full of Timmy’s favorite dishes, finally bringing back the joy to Timmy’s sulking little face.

"Next time, you guys have to bring me along," Timmy spoke jealously. "You can’t just leave me behind again."

Ever since those two made up, they completely forgot about him. It’s been so many days, and they haven’t come to see him even once.

"I know, I know. I promise I won’t leave our adorable Timmy behind again, alright?" Melody Thorne rubbed Timmy’s little face lovingly. "Timmy will always be the most important in my heart."

"Really?"

"I promise."

Timmy pressed a button on his wristwatch, and the recording just ended. "I need to keep evidence; you said I’m more important than my dad!"

Melody Thorne, "..."

This kind of cunning must have come from Jared Quinn! 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

It took quite an effort to coax Timmy upstairs. Melody Thorne stared at the items within the room before finally fixing her gaze on the rooftop terrace; since it’s Valentine’s Day, why not make it a bit more romantic?
