Chapter 572: A Thought-out Idea

"Do you think she’s going to do as asked?" Lucy asked after Liam had sent the President back.

"Does she have any other choice? I meant what I said about dropping them all off in a volcano. She does what I ask or she dies. I will equally be dropping the evidence of their crimes on the Internet as I’m dropping them off," Liam said.

Lucy nodded when she heard this, choosing not to say anything as there was nothing to say.

The documented crimes of the Maybourne Group were horrendous, ranging from embezzlement to things that shouldn’t be mentioned.

She actually felt that dropping them off in a volcano was too easy. If it were up to her, she would turn them into slaves and work them to death. She still wouldn’t let them die and would continue to revive them continuously, making sure they spent what felt like an eternity working with their bare hands.

She felt her Master was a very nice person. Or maybe it was because he was young.

Liam had no idea what Lucy was thinking and he would have laughed if he did.

After sending the President back, he decided to finally put into action one of the plans he’d had in the past. It was a plan that would allow his friends and those close to him to be able to protect themselves better. It was also a plan that he could use to create a force of superhumans for Nova Technologies.

It was an idea that he had already thought out carefully from every possible angle and had finally decided to go ahead with.

Liam opened the system store, typed in molecular enhancement nanites in the search bar, and he saw what he was looking for.

The Molecular Enhancement Nanites cost 1,000 System Points and Liam still had more than 5,700 points left after his last purchase.

He bought the enhancement serum without hesitation and a vial containing it materialised in his hand immediately.

He turned to Lucy and gave the vial to her.

"This is an enhancement serum called the Molecular Enhancement Nanites. I want it studied and find out exactly how it works, and if a lesser version of it can be created," he said.

Lucy nodded, as she collected the vial. She scanned it with her eyes and saw millions of dormant nanites in the small vial.

She immediately called up a Synth, who came up to the office to collect the vial from her and took it to the Research and Development extension.

She turned to Liam, watching his side profile, as he looked out the floor to ceiling windows of the office, into the void of outer space.

"Are you going to your training now, Master?"

"No. I’ve been in there for a week and achieved a breakthrough into the Transcendent Stage. I will take my time before going back. I have a lot to do though. My Abyssal Dragon Inheritance can now be accessed. I’m curious about what I will find."

"Are you going to meet your friends then?"

"Probably but not yet. How are Daniel and Whitlock doing? How’s the progress on the wealth management implementation?"

"Daniel is doing okay. Just a little stressed. Whitlock is having a tough time but it’s not anything he can’t manage. The US, Canada, UK, Australia, Singapore and some other countries have given them the green light. But the EU is being the European Union."

Liam smiled when he heard this. The European Union was acting like they always did but he had no intention of intervening. At least, not yet.

"Well, I would say everything is progressing smoothly. The clinical trial will take an estimated six to ten months to complete, or even longer. But that’s not a problem. While it’s still ongoing, I will use the time to continue training. I’m sure that the launch of the Studio next month will keep the world busy until then."

"It definitely will. But have you decided on the rollout method of the nanites?"

"Yeah. It will be on Earth. There’s no need for them to come to the Base every month. It’s not a medical facility."

Lucy nodded in agreement.

Liam stood at the window for a moment, before he decided to leave. He would love to go down to the clinical trial section but he couldn’t.

He was sure that the atmosphere would change from what it currently was, to something else if the CEO of the company were to make an appearance.

"I will be taking my leave, Lucy," he said, before vanishing from the spot. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

He appeared in the part of the atmosphere where the floating warehouses were.

It was the delivery system he had created for Lucid delivery, before its launch. And since its creation, it had been upgraded over the past five months.

The warehouses had become larger and more advanced than before. They were now at least twice as long and wide as the biggest commercial plane.

He looked at the floating warehouse and thought about whether he should launch a delivery business in the future.

With the Institutional Verification that had been going on for over two months now, a lot of companies had verified their accounts.

He could launch the delivery business for them, letting them pay a small fee for faster and better delivery.

Of course, he would be in competition with the existing logistics companies but with what Nova Technologies would be offering, it wouldn’t even be a competition.

He thought about the idea and decided that it would be a service he would launch after the nanites had been rolled out.

Besides the Studio launching in a few weeks, there wouldn’t be any new products or services until the clinical trial was done, however long that took.

With that decision made, he started descending slowly to the ground. As he descended, he sent a message to the group chat with his Lucid.

"Are you guys free? I just got out of training and wish to stretch my muscles a bit. Anyone up for training?"

He received a reply a few seconds later.

"Before I even consider it, how strong exactly are you right now? Two times than before or more?" Matt asked.

Liam thought about it for a moment and replied.

"I don’t know how strong I am exactly but if I’m estimating, it should be around ten times than before."

He really had no idea how strong he was, now that he was in the Transcendent Stage. The only thing he knew was that he no longer needed the exosuit to breathe in space.

"So, you’re that strong now. That means that the exosuit won’t survive a punch from you. I will pass on this 😅," Matt replied.

"But it’s been a while since we saw you. Are you free enough for a gathering?" Kristopher asked.

"Sure, just tell me when it is and the time," Liam replied.

"Okay, I will send it later," Kristopher said.

After that, the chat continued casually, as everyone in the group brought up different topics.

Liam paused his descent, lay down in the sky and continued chatting with his friends that he hadn’t spoken to for more than two weeks.
