Upon hearing these sounds, Ronald and Catherine naturally tried to save themselves.

But before they could scramble up.

Accompanied by a roar from above, a large net suddenly descended from overhead, ensnaring them directly inside.

Catherine's dissatisfied voice immediately rang out:

"Ha, are they treating us like fish?"

"They actually used a net!"

Amidst his busy state, Ronald took a moment to explain:

"Catherine, actually, hunters on the mountains also use nets to catch beasts!"

And then...then there was no more.

The two trapped in the snare had no spell to change the situation, nor could they rely on physical strength to escape from a trap several meters deep. The final outcome was that they ended up netted inside and dragged out by the creatures above.

Stumbling their way upwards.

It wasn't until they returned to the 'surface' that Ronald and Catherine saw the appearance of the enemies capturing them.

This was a group of creatures standing over a meter tall, with multiple tentacles, resembling jellyfish. Upon closer inspection, they were somewhat similar in appearance to the dust giant emerging from the sea.

At this moment, approximately a dozen of these creatures surrounded Ronald and Catherine, with the leader commenting on the two:

"One male, one female, a bit small, one even has quite a few metal pieces...it might be more difficult to digest, but definitely no problem for nutrition replenishment!"

Another 'jellyfish' beside eagerly affirmed:

"Exactly, this is absolutely good news!"

"The main body is raising offspring, can't move, and is lacking nutrition, these two have come at just the right time!"

Discussion finished, the jellyfish began to act.

The leader initially wanted to find a stick to transport Ronald and Catherine.

But discovering the height disparity between the two sides, this plan fell apart.

Finally, they securely tied the trap net, and three jellyfish together lifted one person each, marching off triumphantly toward the depths.

Throughout the entire process, Ronald and Catherine did not speak.

On one hand, they knew rescue through communication was impossible, naturally choosing to conserve their energy and remain silent to avoid other trouble.

On the other hand, they were out of options.

The rules of the world in "Maze Storybook" were tightly binding them, with no way to undo the net encircling them—observing quietly seemed the only choice.

Thus, Ronald and Catherine were carried away by this group of jellyfish.

Soon, the sound of flowing water could be heard nearby.

Being carried by the jellyfish, Ronald managed to lift his head and discovered the water sounds came from a river.

Recalling the transformation patterns of the "Maze Storybook."

This river appearing within the dust giant should be something like a blood vessel or esophagus?

Catherine nearby made the same motion.

Then they exchanged glances, realizing their thoughts were not so different.

Just as Ronald speculated, the area ahead suddenly began to open up. Near the edge of the entire space lay a plaza-looking place.

However, compared to the appearance of buildings, the things inside were even more astonishing.

There was another jellyfish-like figure, but nearly five times larger than its fellow kind, sitting amidst the area.

Before entering the plaza, one of the jellyfish escorting Ronald immediately rushed ahead:

"Leader, we caught the prey!"

"Come see if they can become nutrients for the main body!"

The large jellyfish remained silent but immediately moved outward, arriving before Ronald and Catherine.

It scrutinized the two for a while, then advanced slightly.

"Humans? Interesting!"

"I heard from the upper brain that the main body was injured by humans, hence had to choose to reproduce offspring. Unexpectedly, not even half a day has passed before humans voluntarily come here."

The large jellyfish continued to approach, nearly sticking to Ronald.

The salty smell of the sea enveloped them, making it nearly impossible to open their mouths, whilst the large jellyfish posed its question:

"Humans, do you know who harmed the main body?"

"..." Ronald remained silent.

The large jellyfish approached another step, Ronald's skin could almost feel the dampness of the other. Under intense tension, he began to hear his heartbeat.

Then, the large jellyfish spoke again:

"Do you know where they are?"

"..." Ronald tried to control his body, maintaining silence.

The large jellyfish waited a moment.

Seeing Ronald unresponsive, it considered then refrained from further inquiry, directing its focus to Catherine:

"What is your purpose in coming here?"

"..." Catherine's reaction mirrored Ronald's, maintaining silence.

The large jellyfish tempted:

"Tell me the answer, and you can leave safely."

"..." Catherine remained unmoved.

"Hm...two fools." Yielding no results from Ronald and Catherine, the large jellyfish did not become enraged or erupt into fury, but simply returned towards the plaza.

After waiting a few seconds, it commanded in a deep voice:

"It's dumb not to affect becoming nutrients. Send them to Digestion River, lend a hand to the main body."

The jellyfish immediately began to act.

Being carried by these jellyfish away from the plaza, Ronald and Catherine simultaneously breathed a sigh of relief.

The pressure from the large jellyfish was simply too overwhelming.

Not just the pressure from its size—the environment locked in a net, unable to resist was filled with danger. Earlier, they resolutely avoided communication with the jellyfish, and such courage was hard to maintain.

Next, Ronald and Catherine were directed towards the previous river.

Through previous experience and observations, they confirmed their upcoming fate.

They would be placed on thin planks and drift down the river, eventually plunging into the life-prohibiting zone below—the dust giant's digestive organs.

Once this process begins, reversing it is exceedingly difficult.

Because the water flowing in the river possesses corrosive capabilities.

Death and danger were approaching.

And the path to the end was not far.

As Ronald's mind scrambled for a breakthrough, Catherine looked back in anger toward the previous plaza.

The group of jellyfish, carrying the two, had arrived at the river's edge.

They even had a specially designed platform for delivering food into the Digestion River, and once Ronald and Catherine were set on the planks, they were tossed down from the platform.

A loud 'splash' was heard.

The two plunged into the river over ten meters wide, simultaneously the channel of deadly rapids.
