Necromancer: I Am A Disaster
Chapter 753: Dragon Emperor, You Have Doomed The Dragonkind
The Ancestral Dragon Blood Pool opened, and the remaining twenty-three Dragon Kings entered it.
Roars echoed one after another, filled with primal fury.
The entire Dragonkind was swept into a state of fervent excitement.
“The Ancestral Dragon Blood Pool is open!”
“It’s been over two hundred years since it last opened, hasn’t it?”
“After two centuries of accumulation, it’s finally open again. Our Dragonkind is bound to produce a large number of powerful experts!”
The Dragonkind were brimming with excitement, their eyes filled with envy.
In their hearts, the Ancestral Dragon Blood Pool held unparalleled status.
Entering it meant strength, meant evolution.
An ordinary Dragon King could rise to mid-tier, and a mid-tier Dragon King had a strong chance of advancing to high-tier.
Yet despite its impressive name, in Antares’s eyes, the blood pool was nothing but rubbish.
In truth, even the Dragon Emperor knew it was far from as miraculous as the legends claimed.
This was merely an imitation constructed based on his speculation of the true blood pool in the Dragon Ancestral Land.
The Dragonkind excelled in formations. Within the emperor city, the Dragon Emperor had established a grand formation, allowing generations of powerful Dragonkind to enter before death.
Their flesh, blood, and lifelong cultivation were gathered and condensed, eventually forming this blood pool.
It indeed contained the power of Dragonkind bloodlines and could stimulate evolution.
But the Dragon Emperor understood its limits. No matter how much a mongrel Dragon evolved, they could never become a true Dragon.
At best, evolution would peak at his current level.
To go further and become a true Dragon, one would need the genuine Dragon Transformation Pool.
As for going even further and becoming a Divine Dragon… that was a dream he did not dare entertain.
This time, Lin Moyu had not only struck a heavy blow to the Dragonkind’s pride but had also slaughtered many of their Dragon Kings.
Once numbering over forty, including four high-tier Dragon Kings, the Dragonkind had now been reduced to a single high-tier Dragon King and just over twenty mid-tier and low-tier ones.
Nearly half had died at Lin Moyu’s hands.
For the Dragonkind, this loss of high-level combat power was catastrophic.
If the Abyss Demons chose this moment to attack, the tragedy of a thousand years ago could easily repeat itself.
Thus, the Dragon Emperor ordered the Ancestral Dragon Blood Pool to be opened ahead of time to strengthen the remaining Dragon Kings.
Even if their numbers couldn’t be restored, their individual strength had to rise.
Producing a few more high-tier Dragon Kings could shift the balance.
At the very least, it would deter a sudden Abyss Demon invasion.
As for Lin Moyu, the Dragon Emperor commanded the entire Dragonkind to retreat into the emperor city.
A massive defensive formation had been activated, enveloping the city and the area beyond its walls.
It would be enough to resist the undead army for a time, preventing Lin Moyu from picking them off individually.
However, the Dragonkind’s world was too isolated, their intelligence network severely lacking.
Had they known of Lin Moyu’s recent feats in the Abyss, they would have scattered rather than gathered in one place.
The Ancestral Dragon Blood Pool boiled violently, blood surging skyward.
The roars grew increasingly intense as the power of the Dragon Kings within the blood pool rose rapidly.
Two Dragon Kings burst out from the blood pool, shrouded in law.
They had entered as mid-tier Dragon Kings, yet in less than a day, they advanced to high-tier, gaining the power to wield laws.
At that point, remaining in the blood pool became meaningless. Their strength could no longer increase.
Seeing two new high-tier Dragon Kings, the Dragon Emperor finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, the blood pool’s energy was rapidly depleting. The accumulated bloodline power of two centuries was exhausted in just over a day.
Of the twenty-three Dragon Kings, two advanced to high-tier, eleven rose to mid-tier, and the remaining ten experienced significant growth.
Though their numbers had nearly halved, their overall strength had not declined much.
…
A hundred kilometers away, Lin Moyu stood gazing at the emperor city, now shrouded in blood.
The massive formation fully encased it.
“I’ve only been gone a few days, but the Dragonkind have moved pretty fast.”
“It seems they’re completely unaware of what’s happening in the Abyss.”
His gaze swept over the dense clusters of Dragonkind within the city, and a cold smile formed on his lips.
“If they knew, they would have already fled.”
“Antares was right… these mongrel Dragons really aren’t that smart.”
Lin Moyu lowered his gaze to his left shoulder, where the purple military badge gleamed with dazzling brilliance.
Six purple stars crowned it, radiating an unmistakable aura of nobility.
A six-star divine general. The human race had not seen one in nearly seven hundred years.
The last was Jiang Yi, who had once stood alone against fifty Demon Kings in a battle that nearly claimed his life, earning the title.
Since then, no one had achieved it again.
With Emperor Di gone, Lin Moyu now stood at the pinnacle of the human race. In status, authority, and combat power, he was unmatched.
Even if Emperor Di were still around, he would not dare claim superiority.
After a brief glance, Lin Moyu spread his Deathwings and surged forward.
Soul force flowed as he shifted from perfect stillness into explosive motion.
Like a bolt of lightning, he crossed space and appeared outside the emperor city’s formation in an instant.
The formation reacted immediately, alarms ringing out.
A heartbeat later, the Dragonkind saw him and fear spread like wildfire.
“Lin Moyu! He’s back!”
“How does he still dare come here?!”
“Where does he get such arrogance? Lord Dragon Emperor, strike him down!”
“Heroes of the Dragonkind, arm yourselves—kill him!”
“Slay him first, then march on the human race and wipe them out!”
His arrival was like the descent of death itself.
Some Dragonkind faltered, their courage collapsing under the weight of his presence.
Others burned with fury, their killing intent surging skyward.
At the heart of the emperor city, the Dragon Emperor’s aura exploded outward.
He shot into the air, roaring, “Lin Moyu, you’re courting death!”
The Formation Bead in his grasp shone brilliantly.
Though enraged, the Dragon Emperor understood the truth: killing Lin Moyu would not be easy.
Even with the Formation Bead, he possessed methods of escape.
Still, he could not allow him to run rampant freely.
Lin Moyu ignored them all, including the Dragon Emperor.
Seizing the fleeting moment before the Formation Bead fully activated, he casually pointed toward the sky.
Law art: Undead Gaze.
His eyes turned completely indifferent, devoid of both killing intent and vitality.
He did not look upon living beings, but upon corpses waiting to fall.
“The tens of millions of Dragonkind in the emperor city… you will push me to level 86.”
Antares had warned him: beyond level 86, killing alone would no longer be enough to level up.
Now at level 83, Lin Moyu intended to claim those final three levels here in one go.
Tens of millions of Dragonkind and more than twenty Dragon Kings—that was enough.
The sky darkened as the undead world descended.
Silver-white undead flames ignited across the heavens, turning the Dragonkind World into an expanse of grayish silver.
The sky itself peeled back like a curtain, revealing a colossal eye, spanning one hundred thousand meters.
“What kind of skill is this?!”
“How can something so terrifying exist?!”
“Don’t panic! It might just be for show—we’re protected by the formation!”
But the moment the Dragon Emperor saw the eye, his heart lurched.
A deep sense of dread took hold.
Without hesitation, he activated the Formation Bead.
Space thickened, turning viscous. Movement became nearly impossible.
Lin Moyu was also affected and couldn’t move, yet he seemed unconcerned.
A soul-echo rang out: “Dragon Emperor, you have doomed the Dragonkind.”
