"You are one lucky fellow," Grey said while sighing. "Good work," he added, giving him a thumbs up.

Lin Fang chuckled embarrassingly.

At the side, Alissa was listening in on their conversation with visible confusion on her face.

"Well, for now, it is good that you are safe. If you were found, then who knows? Perhaps the endless reality might have ended by now."

"It is good that I made it out alive," Lin Fang patted his chest while heaving a long sigh of relief.

"Alright. For now, I will give you a spaceship and have Alan Benson go with you. Go find your wives and swiftly head to my place."

"Your place?" Lin Fang tilted his head. "Do you own an estate, Brother Grey? Owning an estate in the cosmos is a pretty big deal."

Soon, Lin Fang left with the others. Aerin, the Spirit Ancestor, and Alan went with him. Now only Grey and Alissa remained in the isolated space.

"Why did you not go with them?" Grey asked with a chuckle.

"I just want to take more pictures for Miwa," Alissa replied, holding up her device.

Grey did not mind this. He planned on thoroughly exploring this cloudy world anyway.

He and Alissa flew around the realm for a few rounds, passing over shimmering lakes of liquid starlight and floating meadows of glowing blue grass, before chancing upon a place with a heavy willpower presence.

Grey took a sharp turn as he entered that specific location. It was a tranquil bamboo forest. The towering stalks were a deep, luminescent jade, and a cool, fragrant wind came rushing through, making the dense bamboo sway gently and chime like hollow wooden bells.

Seeing this serene environment, Grey immediately sat cross-legged on the soft, moss-covered ground.

The amount of law presence here was so potent that he had to make use of it.

"You should also try to comprehend it. The [Law of Spirit] is a good law." Grey turned to Alissa, who gave a firm nod.

They both sat down as they began their deep comprehension.

The following instant, the effectiveness of the law power around them increased by almost a thousand percent.

Grey immediately fell into a trance of deep comprehension after conveying his thanks to the tree.

He could infuse the illusion of someone dying within a burning star; a phantom star would magically appear in their mind, and the person would mentally die inside it. But this relied heavily on the target’s fear. The more they feared death, the more effective the matrix became.

[Spiritual Death] was simple enough. He could form a concentrated wave of power that would shatter anyone’s ego or willpower, as long as their [Law of Spirit] comprehension was below his own, and he doubted there were many who could rival him now.

[Sovereign’s Denial] allowed him to deny the physical existence of a concept or object. If he willed something to not exist or prevented it from doing something, then it just disappeared from reality. Of course, it was not like his power of nothingness, where the target was permanently deleted from the world without a trace.

From what he understood, Nothingness’s denial only worked within the bounds of this universe, as evident by the Spirit Ancestor using a tea cup earlier, most likely brought over from the Helios organization.

Soon, Alissa was also done. She surprisingly reached Major Succession and obtained the [Phantom Matrix] ability, along with the [Willpower Suppression] from her prior minor comprehension.

Then, Grey opened his eyes and frowned slightly. He stood up and moved forward, walking deep into the center of the bamboo forest. There, hovering quietly in the crisp air, was a piece of jade. It radiated a warm, nine-colored light that illuminated the jade stalks.

’Take it. It is a small gift,’ the World Tree’s voice chimed once more. ’I can also talk to you a lot easier that way.’

"Why are you so generous?" Grey asked, sighing with a mix of emotion and gratitude.

This was the Nine-Colored Soul Nourishing Jade. It was the exact same mystical artifact that had once saved Xia Qingyue from dying, even against incredibly powerful opponents. He had to research it more once he got back to his domain.

Soon they left the cloudy world. On their way back through the Alliance territory, they met the Spirit Ancestor once more.

"By the way, Spirit Ancestor, why do you think there are no tea cups native to this world?" Grey asked.

"That is what I am curious about too," the Spirit Ancestor replied, rubbing his chin. "I was thinking the exact same thing recently. That thought only occurred to me just yesterday. I have one since I am part of Helios and an Earth transmigrator, but no one in this universe seems to know what a tea cup is."

"So I was thinking, maybe I should popularize it or something," the Spirit Ancestor proposed with a gleam in his eye. "Do you want to start a business partnership with me, Saint Grey? We can profit a lot."

"Nah," Grey replied smoothly.

’I will just do it on my own back on my planet,’ Grey thought internally.

But now he had confirmed his theory. While the Spirit Ancestor physically possessed the object, it did not stop his memory from being subtly altered regarding its general existence in reality. Hence, it proved that his erasure was effective even against a mighty eighth ranker.

Confirming that crucial detail, Grey prepared to head back to his domain. He had successfully fulfilled the purpose of coming here: advancing his [Law of Spirit] and exploring the mysteries of the World Tree. It was time to go back and focus on breaching the sixth rank, and of course, forging his primordial spirit.
