Leo immediately gave him a piercing stare.

"This is getting unhealthy."

Sean finally turned to Leo slowly.

And for the first time that night...

The man’s gaze was truly terrifying.

"You think I don’t know?"

The atmosphere in the lobby instantly turned icy.

Clara began to feel her heart beating uncomfortably now.

Because Sean looked like someone standing on the brink of total collapse.

And people like that...

Are usually the most dangerous.

---

Leo stepped slightly forward in front of Clara.

"Go home, Sean."

But Sean just chuckled.

A low, chaotic laugh.

"You think I came here to pick a fight with you?"

His gaze returned to Clara.

"I just want to see her."

Clara tensed slightly.

Because there was something in the tone of Sean’s voice that made her uneasy.

Not anger.

Not coldness.

But obsession.

Like someone who’s starting to lose the line between love and possession.

"Sean," Clara tried to speak calmly, "it’s late. Go home."

But Sean took another step closer instead.

Leo immediately moved to block him.

"Don’t come any closer."

Sean’s gaze fell to Leo’s hand, slightly outstretched to shield Clara.

And something snapped inside him.

"I hate the way you’re standing in front of her like that."

The atmosphere in the lobby froze instantly.

Leo narrowed his eyes. "What?"

Sean gave a hollow little laugh and shook his head slowly.

"That’s my spot."

Those words made Clara freeze instantly.

Leo looked utterly incredulous at the remark.

"Your spot?" Leo repeated coldly. "You cheated on me years ago, and now you’re talking about your spot?"

Sean didn’t care.

His gaze remained fixed on Clara.

"She used to always stand behind me." His voice grew softer. "Always waiting for me."

And the more Sean spoke...

It became clearer that the man was starting to lose himself in his own thoughts.

Clara gripped her bag a little tighter.

"Sean, that’s enough."

But Sean didn’t seem to really hear her.

His gaze moved slowly, taking in Clara from head to toe.

She looked comfortable now.

Relaxed.

Alive.

And that made Sean’s chest feel like it was on fire.

"Why do you look happier without me?" he whispered hoarsely.

Clara fell silent immediately.

Because that question sounded far more heartbreaking than angry.

Sean chuckled softly again.

"I destroyed everything for another woman..." his eyes were red now, "but why is it me who can’t live without you?"

Silence.

Even Leo fell quiet for a moment.

Because Sean really looked a mess tonight.

Not the arrogant man he usually was.

But someone slowly crumbling from the inside.

Yet that was what was truly terrifying.

Because a man as strong as Sean Weasley, who was starting to lose control of his emotions...

Could do anything.

Sean suddenly pulled out his phone and showed the screen to Clara.

There was a photo of Clara from earlier that afternoon at the supermarket with Mrs. Diana.

Then another photo.

Clara leaving the apartment two days ago.

And one more.

Clara sitting at a café with Leo last week.

Clara’s face went pale instantly.

"Sean..." her voice trailed off, "what is this?"

Leo immediately stepped forward. "Are you stalking her?"

But Sean didn’t even feel guilty.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

"That’s not caring!" Clara snapped finally. "That’s crazy!"

And that word...

Made Sean’s expression change for a moment.

Crazy.

Yes.

Maybe that’s exactly what it was now.

Because Sean himself was starting to feel like he wasn’t normal.

He couldn’t sleep without thinking about Clara.

He couldn’t work without checking reports about Clara.

He couldn’t stand the thought of Clara being touched by another man.

And worst of all—

He was starting to feel like Clara still belonged to him... even though she was gone.

Sean took another step closer.

"If you knew how broken I am right now—"

"I don’t want to know!" Clara cut him off quickly.

Her eyes began to well up.

Not because of love.

But fear.

And when Sean realized that...

His chest felt like it had been struck by something hard.

Because back then, Clara always looked at him with sadness.

With love.

Now?

She was starting to fear him.

Leo immediately pulled Clara back slightly.

"Enough. You leave now or I’ll call security."

Sean stared at Leo’s hand touching Clara.

And something inside him grew dark again.

His gaze turned incredibly sharp.

"Don’t you dare touch her."

Leo glared back. "She’s not yours!"

Those words hit Sean brutally.

Not yours.

Sean chuckled softly.

But this time, his laughter truly sounded like that of a man beginning to lose his mind.

"If she’s not mine..." he whispered softly, staring at Clara, "why does it feel like I’m dying when I see her with someone else?"

Sean was still standing in the apartment lobby, breathing heavily.

His gaze hadn’t strayed from Clara even for a moment.

And that was starting to make Clara feel really uncomfortable.

"Sean," she said softly but firmly, "go home."

But Sean just gave a small laugh. His laugh was hollow.

Broken.

"It’s strange, isn’t it..." he whispered softly. "You used to always chase after me when I left."

Clara tensed immediately.

"Now it’s you who keeps showing up in my life," she replied coldly.

Those words hit Sean like a hard slap.

The man fell silent for a few seconds. His jaw moved slowly, holding something back inside himself.

Then he finally gave a small nod.

"Okay."

Clara was a little surprised that Sean suddenly sounded so calm.

"I’ll leave tonight."

Leo remained on guard. His gaze didn’t leave Sean for a moment.

Because the man was too calm now.

And that was far more worrying than when Sean was angry.

Sean stepped back slowly. But before turning away, he looked at Clara for a very long time.

A gaze that sent chills down Clara’s spine.

"I just want one thing," Sean said softly.

Clara didn’t answer.

Sean gave a faint, weary smile.

"I want you to see me the way you used to."

And after saying that...

He finally left for good.

But strangely, that was exactly what made Clara even more uneasy.

---

The night grew late as Sean’s car sped through the rain-soaked city streets.

Sean sat silently in the back seat.

Dark.

Silent.

Yet his mind was far noisier than anything else.

Images of Clara with Leo kept flashing endlessly through his head.

Clara’s laughter.

The way she stood close to another man.

The comfortable gaze she used to reserve only for him.

And the more Sean thought about it...

The more something inside him felt broken.

His phone vibrated.

A message came in from one of his men.

> "Miss Clara will be attending the Grand Berkshire Hotel charity event Friday night."

Sean read the message without expression.

Then slowly...

His eyes narrowed.

Something was beginning to take shape in his mind now.

Something dark.

Obsessive.

Dangerous.

---

The next morning, Sean sat alone in his office.

The curtains were drawn tight. The coffee on his desk hadn’t even been touched.

Spread out before him were several surveillance photos of Clara.

Clara leaving the supermarket.

Clara entering the office.

Clara laughing with Mrs. Diana.

Clara with Leo.

The last photo made Sean’s jaw clench again.

Thud.

He slammed the photo down on the desk.

"I’m sick of seeing him near Clara," he muttered softly.

And for the first time...

Sean began to think of something he knew even he himself had crossed the line with.

If Clara keeps drifting away...

If Clara stays with Leo...

If Clara really erases Sean from her life...

Then Sean has to make Clara stop leaving.

By any means necessary.

The man leaned back slowly, staring blankly at the ceiling of his office.

Then slowly...

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

But that smile felt wrong.

Very wrong.

He picked up his phone and called someone.

The call was answered immediately.

"Yes, sir?"

Sean spoke softly. Very softly.

"I want Clara’s entire schedule for Friday."

"Sir?"

"Everything." His gaze was cold. "What time she arrives. Who she’s with. What car she’s driving."

The man on the other end of the line fell silent for a moment.

"You mean...?"

Sean closed his eyes briefly.

And when he opened them again...

His gaze had completely changed.

Dark.

Obsessive.

"I just want to talk to my ex-wife," he whispered softly.

But even he knew...

That was a lie.

Because deep inside his head now...

Sean began imagining taking Clara far away from everyone. Far from Leo. Yeah, He was very obsessed.

Far from the world that was slowly making Clara forget him.

A place where Clara would have no choice but to look at Sean again.

And that thought...

No longer felt wrong to him.

And then, Sean had already come up with a pretty well-thought-out and devious plan.

"Clara..., my honey. I’m going to kidnap you again and I ..., I will get you pregnant. That way, you won’t be able to get away from me." Sean laughed.
