Eva Miller was waiting eagerly in Eastern City, hoping for the return of Sophie Smith.

"So boring, it’s been half a month, why hasn’t she come back?" Eva lay on the bed, staring boringly at the ceiling lamp, then counting on her fingers.

Groggy, she felt like sleeping again, even though she hadn’t been up for an hour. Pregnant women do seem to love sleeping more.

But the sleep was not peaceful, about ten minutes later, her assistant, Elin, called.

"Sister Eva, at three in the afternoon, there are scenes for you to shoot at Blue Sea Film City."

"Got it." Eva responded weakly and lazily got up from the bed. After a quick tidying up, she drove herself to the film city.

She was shooting in costume, and those costumes along with the accessories weighed at least ten kilograms. Yet she wasn’t feeling well today, making it even harder, and she couldn’t get out of those clothes.

"Eva, what’s going on with you today? You’ve NGed such a simple shot so many times. You’re an award-winning actress, how could you make such elementary mistakes?" The director walked over to her and ’lectured’.

What the hell? Who says an award-winning actress can’t NG?

"Sorry, director, let’s do it again." Eva couldn’t be bothered to explain and had to push through her discomfort, ready to try again.

Though there were no NGs, the director was still dissatisfied with the effect she presented.

"Redo, redo, what kind of stuff is this filming?" The director frowned, waving his hands repeatedly. So Eva spent the whole afternoon on set wearing that heavy costume which made her arms and shoulders ache terribly.

While Eva is usually a bit wild and arrogant, she is very dedicated. Even if she was dissatisfied with the director’s picking, she stayed patient and finished the scene.

By the time the scene was finished, it was already nine in the evening.

Elin handed her a bottle of water, and Eva took it, drinking heavily.

"Ugh..." Suddenly Eva felt her stomach turn, covering her mouth, she rushed to the bathroom, retching.
