Upon hearing the little guy’s voice, Asher Land felt like he was struck by lightning.

"What’s up?"

"I..." Poor Alexander, he had no idea he interrupted Asher Land’s good moment as he swaggered into the room and tossed the unassembled racing car model onto their bed.

"Can you teach me? I can’t finish it."

Are you kidding me? At this moment, this little guy is occupying their bed, asking him to teach him how to assemble a race car?

"I’m out of time now. I’ll teach you tonight."

"No, Uncle." Alexander frowned, "I want to assemble it now, okay?"

Seeing Alexander’s disappointed look, Sophie Smith couldn’t help pinching Asher Land’s arm.

"Asher Land, have some patience with the kid, okay?"

No choice, the little woman on the bed had spoken. How could he dare not comply? Otherwise, she’d get mad and become all coy in bed, refusing to cooperate.

He redid his half-unbuttoned shirt buttons one by one.

Asher Land, of course, assembled it as fast as possible, intending to send the little guy out.

"Uncle, you assembled it too fast, I didn’t see it clearly." Alexander picked up the assembled race car model and quickly disassembled it.

He might not be able to assemble it, but he’s certainly quick at dismantling it.

"Uncle, do it again, slower this time so I can watch clearly."

"Pfft!" Watching Asher Land look so helpless, Sophie couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

Big Boss Land shot her a glare.

Sophie instinctively covered her mouth, struggling to hold back the smile on her lips.

This time, Asher Land did slow down. While assembling, he didn’t forget to explain to Alexander, who nodded frequently, indicating he understood.

"Alright, you’ve watched clearly and understood, then off you go."

"Nope." Alexander looked at Asher Land earnestly, "The car’s assembled, so now I have time to chat with Mommy."

With an innocent look, Alexander made Asher Land’s mouth twitch. Damn it, this little guy must have been sent by heaven to challenge him.

Sophie’s smile grew wider. She just loved seeing Asher Land’s defeated expression.

"Alright, Alexander, Mommy will chat with you for as long as you want."

Thus, mother and son sat on the bed, happily chatting away while Big Boss Land was completely sidelined.

Asher Land had no choice, he couldn’t possibly grab his son’s collar and throw him out of the room now, right?

He sighed and walked into the bathroom.

"Son, you’re amazing." Listening to the sound of running water from the bathroom, Sophie couldn’t help complimenting Alexander, though Alexander was confused.

"Mommy, what’s up?"

"Nothing." Sophie ruffled his little head. She couldn’t possibly tell Alexander that he was amazing because he made Asher Land look helpless.

But later, as Alexander chatted with her, he couldn’t resist the sleepiness and closed his eyes in her arms.

When Asher Land came out of the bathroom and saw the little guy asleep, the grin on his lips became even more devilish.

He walked over to Sophie, picked Alexander up in one swift motion, and handed him to a maid passing by the door.

"Take the young master back to his room to rest."

With that, he turned around and locked the door.

"Sophie, now even the son can’t save you."

"You just showered, are you, are you sure you want to do that?" Sophie whispered.
