Chapter 181: Are You a Masochist?

Lily quickly called out to Little Prince, intending to approach him. Still, Ethan immediately grabbed her hand, frowning displeased as he stared at her slightly swollen lips. "Why are you worrying about him?"

When this little brat showed up, she completely ignored him; a full-grown man?!

"Stop it," Lily whispered, deliberately lowering her voice so only the two could hear. "If you want to act like an animal, do it at home, not in front of a child."

Did he not understand the concept of self-control?!

Hearing this, Ethan raised an eyebrow and leaned down to whisper in her ear, "So, are you suggesting we go home and act like animals together?"

"Shut up!" Lily snapped. She could never match his shamelessness.

"You were the one who opened your mouth to kiss me just now, and now you’re telling me to shut up? What if I don’t kiss you anymore?" Ethan’s lips curled into a smirk. Naturally, he hadn’t missed the detail that Lily had kissed him back. Had the earth stopped spinning?

Today must genuinely be a great day.

"Enough," Lily said quickly, afraid he’d keep making inappropriate comments.

Did he have to be so blunt and shameless?

She couldn’t give this man leeway—he’d immediately get carried away.

"Little Prince, let’s go."

Lily pulled her hand free from Ethan’s grip and took Little Prince’s hand, leading him out. Before leaving, she packed up the KFC leftovers to bring home for Nanny and the others.

On the way back, Ethan refused to let Lily sit with Little Prince in the back seat.

"Aunt, sit in the front! Sit in the front!" Little Prince was now beyond admiration for Ethan, practically worshipping him.

Little Prince obeyed Ethan’s every command, eagerly pushing Lily to sit in the front passenger seat, even adjusting how he addressed her.

"This kid knows what’s up."

Seeing Little Prince suddenly switch sides and become more obedient to him than to Lily, Ethan was in a great mood. A wide grin spread across his face as he started the car.

"Little Prince, be careful sitting back by yourself," Lily said, still slightly worried.

"I know, Aunt!"

Just moments ago, Little Prince had been so resistant to calling her "Aunt," but now he said it quickly.

Lily sat in the front seat, munching on some fries. After a moment’s thought, she held one to Ethan’s lips. "Do you want some?"

She kissed him earlier, and now she was offering him food.

"Eating something strange today, are we?" Ethan glanced at her curiously but took the fry between his lips without protest.

"Ethan, are you a masochist?" Lily asked coolly, her almond-shaped eyes sparkling with amusement.

This man—when she was cold to him, he would yell and make a scene, but now that she was being kind, he thought something was wrong.

So, should she stay cold to him forever?

"Lily, who are you calling a masochist?" Ethan growled, his teeth grinding. This woman was getting bolder and bolder, daring to call him a masochist.

"Whoever’s angry," Lily said casually, eating her fries.

Ethan clenched his teeth in frustration, glaring at the woman beside him, happily eating fries. He forced out the words, "Give me more!"

Without hesitation, Lily extended her hand and offered him two more fries.

Ethan’s eyes darkened, and a mischievous glint flashed across his face. He leaned down and bit into the fries, his lips brushing against her fingers and his hot tongue quickly licking her fingertips. The gesture was laced with an unmistakable sensuality...

Lily felt a sudden heat on her hand and quickly pulled it back, but with Little Prince sitting in the back, she couldn’t precisely scold Ethan for licking her fingers. She could only glare at him angrily.

If looks could kill, she’d have already shot a bullet through his head!

"Not bad. Tastes good," Ethan said with a wicked smile, his words carrying a double meaning. At least he’d gotten his revenge for the "masochist" comment.

Lily’s face flushed slightly, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks.

"Ethan, are you good at fighting?" Sitting in the back, Little Prince was still caught up in the excitement of earlier events. He hadn’t noticed the moment between Lily and Ethan. He asked eagerly.

"I’m very good at fighting," Ethan replied, not modestly.

Lily shot him a glance—shameless.

In truth, Ethan had very few moments of setting an excellent example for children. His positive influence was practically non-existent, just a rare glimpse here or there... 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

But it was these rare moments that Little Prince idolized him, practically ready to take Ethan’s last name.

Lily had been so kind to Little Prince, yet he didn’t look up to her nearly as much.

"Ethan, can you teach me how to fight? That way, I won’t be scared of my classmates bullying me anymore," Little Prince asked, his face full of hope.

Lily picked up on something in his words and turned around to ask, "Little Prince, are you refusing to go to school because your classmates are bullying you?"

"Yeah. They were the ones bullying me, but my mom said I shouldn’t fight with them. But I can’t even fight back."

Little Prince pouted in frustration before his eyes lit up with excitement. He gestured with his hands and continued, "But if I could fight like Uncle Ethan, no one would dare bully me again!"

Uncle Ethan was amazing. He didn’t even need to hit anyone. Just raising his fist had people running scared.

Hearing this, Ethan couldn’t help but let out a sarcastic snort. "Brat, can you learn to fight like me?"

With the way he cried at the drop of a hat?

"I do, I do!" Little Prince missed the mockery in Ethan’s tone. He only grew more excited. "Will you teach me, Uncle Ethan? Or can you tell me where you learned to fight so I can sign up for lessons?"

Learn to fight?

Did fighting even require lessons?

Ethan kept his eyes on the road, his expression darkening slightly.

Growing up as a street kid, there were no lessons involved. The only way to avoid getting hurt was to take down your opponent first. Over time, self-defense became second nature.

"Fighting doesn’t do you any good," Ethan suddenly said coldly, his voice dropping to a deep, serious tone.

Lily wondered if she had misheard. She glanced at Ethan’s tense profile, confused. This violent man, who loved to fight, was advising a child not to learn how to fight?

"Why not?" Little Prince asked, not understanding. "You’re amazing, Uncle Ethan!"

"Shut up!" Ethan snapped, his patience wearing thin. His expression grew colder. "I told you not to learn, so don’t learn! Stop asking questions!"

"Oh..." Having been scolded by his hero, Little Prince’s dreams of learning to fight were instantly crushed. He sat quietly in his seat, no longer bouncing with excitement.

Lily watched Ethan in silence, unable to read the expression on his face. After a moment, she offered him another fry and said softly, "That doesn’t sound like something you’d say."

She had expected him to boast about his strength and fighting skills, not to discourage a child from learning to fight.

His response had been entirely unexpected.

Ethan bit into the fry and kept his eyes on the road, saying nothing. Lily pressed her lips together before speaking again. "Ethan, I have something important to tell you."

"How important?" Ethan’s mood shifted as he glanced at her, a wicked smile tugging at his lips. "More important than what I’m thinking?"

"Huh?" Lily looked at him, confused.

"Touring my office bed," Ethan said, his grin turning suggestive. He wasn’t just talking about a tour—he wanted her to lie on it too. That would make his day complete.

He couldn’t change.

Lily glared at him and turned her head away, refusing to engage.

"Okay, tell me. What’s so important?" Ethan stopped teasing her, his deep, sexy voice filling the car.

"Promise me three things, and then I’ll tell you," Lily said, watching the pedestrians outside the window, still holding the fries box.

She needed to secure his promises before telling him. Otherwise, he might lock her up in the Blackwood estate, surround her with servants, and strip away all her freedom.

"You’re already making demands before you’ve told me anything?" Ethan narrowed his eyes, his voice filled with suspicion. "Lily, you’ve got some nerve."

She was making demands of him now...

What could she possibly be planning?

"You don’t want to hear it?" Lily turned back to him, casually offering him another fry, her demeanor affectionate but cold tone. "If you don’t want to know, I won’t say anything."

This woman was testing his patience. Ethan pulled the car up to the E.S. tower, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Fine, let’s go to my office and talk about it. And while we’re at it, we’ll ditch the brat."

No matter how vital her news was, nothing was more important than getting her into that office bed...

Today, no matter what, he was going to get her there.

"Can you be serious for once?" Lily questioned, wondering whether their conversation could go anywhere productive with him in this mood.

"Uncle Ethan, I’m not a brat; I’m Little Prince," Little Prince chimed in from the backseat, hoping his hero would remember his name.

"That’s such a girly name for a boy. Aren’t you embarrassed to say it out loud?" Ethan scoffed, leaning over to unbuckle Lily’s seatbelt.

The gesture was so automatic that Lily couldn’t help but smile.

Little Prince’s eyes filled with disappointment. "But all the girls in my class like my name."

Little Prince, Little Prince—it sounded like something out of a fairytale, and the girls always wanted to play with him because of it.

"That just makes you more girly."

Ethan sneered. Who would have thought Helen could come up with such a soft name for her son?

Lily pushed Ethan lightly. "Can you stop picking on him?"

Did he need to crush a child’s spirit to feel good?

Ethan snorted but didn’t say anything else.

By the time they finished at KFC, Helen had returned to the office. Lily returned Little Prince to her but didn’t get a chance to say much before Ethan dragged her into his office.

"Come on, what’s there to discuss with that old woman?"

Ethan, clearly impatient, pulled Lily into his office, shut the door behind them, and immediately pressed her against the wall, kissing her passionately.

If it hadn’t been for Little Prince in the car earlier, Ethan would have already made his move on Lily.

Did he need to be in such a rush? She had important things to discuss, but he always acted like a man starved for affection.

Ethan’s lips captured hers, and despite her frustration, Lily kissed him back, her hands wrapping around his neck as she mimicked his movements. Their kiss grew increasingly intense, the empty office quickly heating up.

"Lily, if you keep this up, you won’t leave this room tonight."

Lily’s response only fueled Ethan’s excitement. He kissed her even more passionately, his hands roaming down her body, slipping under her dress, and cupping the soft curves of her chest.

"Mmph..."

Lily let out a soft moan, only for it to be swallowed by Ethan’s lips as he deepened the kiss, his hands kneading her through her clothes.
