365 Days To Love-Chapter 200 - TWO-HUNDRED: Undiluted Danger.

The cold floors affected her feet that were empty from any coverings,it wasn’t intentionally that she had to skip wearing any shoes against the weather.

But the fear of being caught by Eric,and the imaginations of what suffering she would undergo, under the hands of Nathan

had her run out without looking back.

This was what has been on her mind lately after living with Nathan,only to be nothing but his whore who he treats as he wants.

He was the worst excuse of a man.

A monster.

No one would actually believe her,If she tells them that under that fine face lies a devil that no one knew existed,or had ever imagined.

Initially,this was what she wanted,for him to notice her.But that was because she had no other option than to sell herself for her brother’s life.

Jordan.

Just at the thoughts of her brother,made her sprangle up with immediate speed when she realized what she had just done.

Nathan wouldn’t think of hurting him all because of her,he’s a kid!

That has been Lucy’s thoughts trying to feed her the good sides of Nathan,and tried to hang on to that.

But today?

Today was a really big day for him,and did she forget to mention the fact that if things had gone according to how he planned for it to be.

She would have being in the Knight’s estate, pretending to be Zaiden’s wife while Nathan do god knows what with the real Hazel.

But all of that didn’t go as planned anymore, because it seems Hazel and Zaiden were smart enough to know that a lot of temptations, and trials awaited them on their big day.

Which is more reason, why Nathan would clearly not be in a good mood right now,and he should have known about her disappearance.

His plans might not have worked,bit he had made it clear to her that he fancy her stay with him.

Lucy’s legs went into action the moment she imagined Jordan’s cries,but she bumped into someone who made her fell down on the road.

Maybe,his phone was worth billions ,but she didn’t care about his goddamn phone,and took off pushing through people who came to know what was happening.

With her hair covering her face,she ran out of the scene with only one purpose in mind,saving Jordan before Nathan beat her to it.

The dizziness that hit her right at the moment of her endless trekking towards the hospital, where her brother was staying was as a result of her skipping lunch.

She was careful not to do that, because the past few days had been nothing but Eric drugging her to sleep after their lessons were done.

That’s how twisted,and cruel Nathan had been to a human being that he’s holding against her will.

Lucy knew that she should have gone to the police station before doing this,bit this would have to wait after she’s sure her brother is safe.

There’s been no sign of any car following her,which she made sure of .She can’t be insensitive to the fact that Eric might he looking for her.

So,she had to be careful.

Besides,how sure is she that Nathan hasn’t discharged her brother?

She might be late.

Yet,she has to hope it wasn’t true.

Because if he had done that before her,she’s going to pay endlessly for the trouble she had caused him.This was what she’s afraid of.

He doesn’t know how his irises change, and he looks inhumane when he’s really annoyed.

All this while,she had actually believed that he would surely end up killing her for ending up on his bad sides daily.

But he had controlled himself from doing that,because of his plans for her.But right now,she’s unsure if he’s not going to murder her before killing her brother too.

He had the power to do that.

He’s a Knight.

He could kill her,and had her whole existence wiped away from earth.

But she won’t let him go dcot free for the pain he’s caused her,he would rot in jail.

Right now,she’s getting Jordan out of this place.

Walking into the hospital without any shoes, attracted the same attention she didn’t want at all.

Well,why won’t they look at her that way?

Aside from her clothes, they would all be convinced that she’s a runaway psychotic patient.

Her disheveled hair added much to the description of an escaped mental patient, because the looks of the nurses and the security men were now getting annoying.

"I want to check up on some patient"She asked, walking up to the nurse on the front check.

"Am sorry,but it’s past the visiting time"

"I know,but i just want to confirm he’s okay please, he’s my brother,and someone is out to get him"

That must have sounded stupid, because the look she too gave her was an assurement, that she was calling the doctor for an escaped mental patient.

Maybe,she didn’t sound convincing enough to her,so she added further.

"Please,you have to believe me,my brother is admitted here,and i only want to be assured that he’s safe, please?"

Lucy pleads,while praying she too doesn’t get obsessed with the fact that she looks like Hazel,and ruin her plan.

If Jordan is still here,she doesn’t know how she’s going to leave here with the way everyone was looking at her as if she’s an escaped inmate.

But if push comes to shove, she has to get him out of here at all cost.she has to.

"Okay, what’s his name and room number?"

"Jordan Wells,I don’t know his room number yet"

"That’s our vvip patient.Young lady, I’m sorry but i can’t be able to help you "The nurse said, looking at Lucy whose face wasn’t funny at the moment after hearing her words.

"I..i don’t understand,what .. are you trying to say? I just want to know if he’s safe and...."

"Well,that’s because orders were given not to give out information to strangers aside from Mr.Knights,who is the only registered guardian for the patient"

"That’s absolute nonsense! I’m his sister, and you can’t keep my brother away from me"Lucy hit her hand on the counter in frustration.

Nathan would be a fool to think that she’s leaving here without her brother,how could he register himself as her guardian rather than his blood sister?

"Young lady,I would advise you to leave or else i call the securities for impersonation"The annoying lady added further, that made Lucy see red.

Lucy raises her hand up to slap her,maybe doing that would reset her brain so that she could see the striking resemblance she shared with her brother, before accusing her of impersonation.

But the strong annoying cologne of the one man who she’s been avoiding, coupled with his voice made her hand paused.

Her voice changed instantly,and her behaviour too.Lucy should have known that she too was one of his things.

"It’s okay,I will take care of her "Nathan winked at her,and that made the woman rub her thighs together in wanton need.

"Eric"Nathan called,his attention now on Lucy who still had her back facing him,before Eric went for her.This time, she didn’t complain and followed them out of the hospital.

"Leave me alone!"Lucy shouted,while pushing at Eric’s broad shoulders to let her down the moment they were outside.

This time,he did as he instructed,but she was pushed to Nathan who caught her before holding her by her throat.

"You stupid,and ungrateful woman,after all i did for all.You choose to repay me this way"He shouted at her face,while Eric was on the look out incase of anyone eavesdropping on their conversation.

He should have done all the reprimanding when they were back home,being outside here with the situation with his family was not the best option at the moment.

"I didn’t ask for any of this!let me go,you monster!"She struggled,his hand on her throat get tight at her statement.

"Boss.."Eric called, when he saw what he was about to do.

"Let.Me.Go."Lucy said lastly,before her leg connected with his groin which had him losing his hold in her,and staggered while Eric went to him.

And what did Lucy do?

She ran.

Lucy ran with all force.Without looking back,she didn’t care if Eric was following or not,she just ran.

She couldn’t go back.

Nathan will kill her this time around.

And just once did she insist on checking if anyone was after her,when she found a good spot to hide.

A hand from nowhere touched her back, and she screamed.

Lucy screamed,her hands and feet went into work to fight Eric for outsmarting her.

"Hey hey stop!"

"Leave me alone!"She yelled.

"It’s okay miss,I meant no harm"The voice said,and she called down when she noticed it didn’t belong to Nathan or Eric.

"I’m detective John Miss,you are safe"Detective John said, showing his card to her as she let out a relieved sigh.

And at that moment,Lucy knew that luck was on her side tonight.
