A Mate For The Last Lycan-Chapter 259: SEVERED MATE BOND
Chapter 259: SEVERED MATE BOND
Caidan watched how his mother’s world shattered into pieces, as she cried her heart out for the lost of the mate bond. He was not sure what to feel about it.
But, there was one thing that Caiden was finally clear about, it was the meaning of what Khaos said. He was going to test his loyalty. This was a test and he didn’t think he could pass, when he witnessed his mother’s anguish and agony.
The urge to rush away from this pack and then looked for Khaos was so great, even though he didn’t know what he would do once he met him.
It was pretty difficult to decide whether he had to hate him, or he stood by his loyalty to him, just like what he had promised Khaos confidently.
How he would react when his assumption was right about what had happened to his father. Caiden didn’t think he could handle the emotion. He didn’t trust himself with his own reaction.
Khaos had killed his father.
It was not like Caden didn’t know what his father was doing. If this was other people, he would say what Khaos had done was justified, but it wasn’t the same when it affected him directly...
"No, please... no please, no. I need to go... I need to find Ezra, I need to find him! Let me go! let me go!"
Mabel lost it, she cried so hard, she screamed at Caiden when he tried to stop her from running rampant. Of course, she knew where Ezra was right now. It would take a few days, yet she didn’t care.
"No please, I need to go! Let me go! What the fuck are you doing!? Go and check your father! Why are you being so passive like this!? Don’t you care about your father?! You need to go and check on your father!"
Caiden gritted his teeth, he tightened his grip on his mother, yet Mabel was no longer felt any pain.
However, they forgot Mave and Otis were still there, they looked scared, since they had never seen their mother like this.
"What happened with Father?" Otis asked. The little boy looked frightened. He was very scared, as he hugged his twin. This must be the first time for them to see how their mother turned crazy.
"Caiden, what happened to father? Why mother cried? What happened?" Mave trembled, his little face turned pale, as he hugged his twin back, they were on the verge of crying.
Right now, the two of them cowered at the furthest side of the room, they didn’t dare to be near their mother, especially when Mabe started cursing.
"Let me go! Let me go! Fuck you!" Mabel clawed Caiden’s face, she drew blood from his face. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
"Caiden!" Otis and Mave were crying right now to see their brother was bleeding. It was a gut wrenching sound to hear their cries. "Mother, no! Don’t hurt Caiden!"
On the other hand, Rian was standing a little bit far from them. The little boy looked at them with confusion and fear in his eyes, especially when Mabel started to shift into her beast, which made Caiden had no other choice, but to shift too.
"Caiden, don’t hurt mother!" Otis stood up and tried to get to the fight between two beasts.
"No! Don’t go!" Mave pulled his twin back and Rian rushed toward them to help as well. "Don’t go! They can kill you!" Mave was crying right now, he was trembling, but he held onto Otis’s shirt very tightly.
Mabel couldn’t care less about her children, because she was in so much pain. She didn’t even have a chance to say ’goodbye’. She was not there in his last moment and she didn’t even know how he died.
On the other hand, Caiden tried to stop her.
"No, mother, don’t do that!" Otis screamed when Mabel clawed Caiden’s beast’s face. "NO! Don’t kill my brother!"
Mave and Otis cried even harder because in their mind, they had to witness their brother fought with their mother, which was very scary and traumatizing.
Thankfully, at that critical moment, Nania came.
The old woman immediately ushered the three boys from the gruesome scene into the nearest room so they didn’t need to witness what was going on out there.
Meanwhile, Caidan was trying to stop his mother from going rampant. It was so heartbreaking to see your mother was being in this so much pain.
And when Caiden finally managed to stop her and then force her to shift back into her human form.
After that, Mabel curled herself on the ground, screaming to ease the pain. Yet, nothing worked. Nothing could get rid of this pain.
"EZRA!" Mabel howled. "EZRA!"
It took hours for Mabel to finally calm down. She stared at the distant, she had no more strength to even lift her finger.
"You need to get the body. You need to get your father body. I can’t live like this." Mabel scrunched her brows. "We need to find his body. You need to promise me."
Caiden approached his mother and hugged her body, as she kept saying the same thing over and over again, as she called for Ezra.
"I will. I will bring back father’s body. Don’t worry, mother..." Caiden rocked Mabel’s body back and forth.

After two days, finally Khaos returned.
Just like how he vanished into thin air, into the shadow of the dark, Khaos appeared the same way.
Gayle almost got a heart attack when he suddenly saw Khaos was already inside the tent. The lycan didn’t even spare him a glance.
"Khaos..."
"She is still unconscious," Khaos stated.
For some reason, Gayle could feel the killing intent from him, something ominous permitted in the air. He exuded something dark, something that you couldn’t even describe, as if if you dare to glance at him in the wrong way, he wouldn’t even think twice before he killed you.
That was how Gayle felt about Khaos right now.
