A Regressor's Guide to the Frozen Apocalypse-Chapter 78: More Than 500
Chapter 78: More Than 500
Light had made a short-term purchase and managed to gather a group of almost four hundred people. The families of the Roan group members made up this group of about four hundred people.
After almost an hour, maybe an hour and a half, Light suddenly had a huge group. Each of them would now be a member of the Scavengers.
Elise, like everyone else, had finished getting ready, and after placing everything in her room into Light’s inventory, it was time.
With the arrival of Jack and his group, it was time to return to Light’s plot and home.
Nearly sixty snowmobiles had been removed from Light’s inventory. Light’s name, ’Arah’, had become a household name not only in Birmingham but also in the surrounding area.
Light had sent a message to Lawrence and made it very clear to the old butler that he had to make sure that his identity, his real name, was never revealed.
In short, that he and his sister and anyone else who knew Lawrence and Pacifica’s real name had to shut up or they would be thrown out of the camp.
There could be no leaks of information.
An indestructible community had to be formed, centred entirely on good hearts and protecting each other, and the first step had been taken.
The construction of Aurora’s hut was already going to be incredibly easy with so much labour, and now knowing that the perimeter of the house would be constantly guarded made it all the easier.
A large wall was needed, perhaps not to protect the entire compound, but at least to provide a short protection to the perimeter.
Indeed, the site was surrounded by electric fences, which received enough volts to incinerate a man in a matter of seconds, together with internal walls of the same size, but it was hard to say whether this would be sufficient for four hundred people.
Each of these were things that would have to be thought about later, and that was precisely why Light felt that he had to stop for the moment.
Jack had apologised to Elise herself and to the entire Roan group, officially on his knees. Every single member of the group had forgiven him when they had seen the boy’s dishevelled, skinny, tiredness from the weight of protecting everyone. freewebnøvel.coɱ
However, Jack had not been able to forgive himself so easily, it was clear that he still had not forgiven himself. He had made slow and quick decisions, and even if he hadn’t killed anyone, he had still harmed the Roan group for no reason. Well, it was for a reason but Jack was still 16, practically a kid who is having massive responsibilities on his shoulders.
The only good thing was that the zombies created by Jack were protecting and guarding the group. Although they could be killed with weapons, they were still very strong, big and fast zombies, which made everything easier.
Especially the fact that these zombies could see in the fog really proved Jack’s worth.
Due to the size of the group it had taken almost two and a half hours to get to the house, but everything and everyone was in order.
Petunia, Lawrence, and Pacifica were waiting behind the last electric fence outside the property with their masks on.
Light got out of the lead car and then unlocked the electric fence and went inside, followed by hundreds of others, one after the other, and finally, everything was in order.
Together with the Roan group, Jack’s own group and Light’s Scavengers, they had become a huge group of almost five hundred people.
Aurora came straight to Light’s side, and without waiting, she said, "Sir, I would like to take the building power directly with me."
Light smiled from inside the crow mask he had put back on and then turned to the huge group and said, "Each of you is needed for the construction of the huts you will stay in. Only the main group can stay in the first one behind the house, so you will stay within range of the second electric fence around the house."
With these words, a group of almost a hundred men and women began to follow Aurora. The soldiers that Light had dragged behind him went to rest with his permission and Light began to walk, carrying Elise like a princess.
Petunia and Lawrence were trying to figure out what was going on, while Pacifica was bursting with jealousy behind her mask. Still, Elise’s destination was clear. Those Light considered to be his definitive family would not be left out, and that included Elise.
Elise didn’t even know such a thing was going to happen and that was exactly why she chose to hug Light tightly.
When Light brought Elise to the front of the house, he gently handed her over to Lawrence and returned to the group, apologising to Charles and Leonard and asking them to forgive him for making them work even harder.
Charles and Leonard smiled at these words and told Light in a clear and rather rude manner not to talk rubbish like the classic old men. Especially the phrase "Fuck off sir." was on their lips.
It seemed Charles, Leonard and Light not on the point of a master-servant but friends.
The loyalty the pair seemed to have could not be underestimated.
Jack was to stay in a hut that was to be specially built for him, it was to be bigger than the others, Light had specifically asked Aurora for this, after all, Jack had three very strong zombies and each of them had to stay with him.
Jack was tired, he couldn’t sleep all the time, his energy was really low, he couldn’t eat or drink anyway, so he didn’t think he needed it, and worse, no one wanted him to get hurt.
In just one day huge things had happened, the trip to Tamworth had been cancelled and the destruction of the church had been put on hold for a short time.
The thing to do now was to complete the construction of the camp.
It was necessary to work under a very detailed plan and construction scope.
As the group grew, the structures had to expand.
