Chapter 82: Visiting Old Friends

"Is everyone here?" asked Light, talking to Charles, who was next to him.

When Charles nodded, Light pretended to understand and then turned to the group of two hundred soldiers gathered in front of him and began to speak:

"Your mission is to repel anyone who wants to enter this land in the future. In addition to the rules, you should know that it is forbidden for anyone to enter this land while I am not here. In line with these events, I must provide you with supplies and shelter. Providing weapons to the soldiers is one of these duties."

When Light said these words, he opened his hand and then took out almost thirty wooden crates from his inventory. These crates were two metres wide and one metre long.

"Charles, you will distribute weapons and ammunition," Light suddenly said.

Immediately after Charles said "Yes, sir", he gathered the soldiers around and put them in a line. Each soldier who was weak in the use of weapons would be helped one by one. Light had an enormous amount of ammunition in his hands, a number that would not run out even if he used it for years.

It had been illegally manufactured, and the Collector had even made sure to bring him some of it, which made it all the more moulded.

The training was something that had to be given. Light’s group had to grow and become stronger much faster.

Light wanted to see that no one could not fight in the group except the children. This meant that the soldiers of the Roan group should be trained first.

Immediately after that, Light quickly went to Aurora.

After greeting Aurora, he did not neglect to ask what they needed. Upon Aurora’s requests, Light had delivered many things, from many wood-cutting tools to electric gadgets.

Then he put the ready-made construction wood in the specified place and with that, his work here was over.

When he went to the place where the majority stayed, that is, where there were people who could be considered people, he took out a table and then started to distribute food.

According to the size of the families, he started to give three meals one by one. Each of these foods was ready. There was a source of hot water distributed to the houses around the clock. This was the same even for those staying in tents.

With the order from Aurora Light, he did not even refrain from building a place where people could take a shower. In short, this compound, this land was becoming a well-oiled engine ready for full operation.

After finishing all the work he had to do in the morning, Light saw Pacifica and then waved to her and made a sign as if he wanted her to come to him.

"We’ll be leaving soon, we need to go to Warwick Castle," he said to Pacifica, who soon came to him.

Pacifica nodded without thinking and then started to wait. Light told all his soldiers, the first seven, that he entrusted this place, and then talked to Jack and left the compound.

After jumping on the snowmobile and putting Pacifica on the back, they quickly set off for Warwick Castle near Birmingham.

There was no fog today. The surroundings were visible to the naked eye. Everything was in order, Light was only going to move to check that the leader of the Forsaken group and the others were all right.

Although it wasn’t foggy, the snowfall was making everything worse.

Light and Pacifica were clearing the snow off their plague masks every ten seconds. The snowmobile occasionally fell into the soft snow and got stuck.

It was a tough journey, but they managed to reach their destination after almost two hours.

Light started to see people around. Even if each of them was not very skinny, it would not be wrong to say that they were still in that kind of condition.

Things must have been going well for the Forsaken group.

Light was getting closer and closer to the castle every second, and those who saw him were starting to be happy instead of afraid. It was quite normal for people here to have heard something about the Scavengers. After all, some time ago Light had provided them with supplies, and not only the soldiers but also the people must have benefited from them.

When he arrived in front of Warwick Castle, the guards in front of the gate immediately saluted and then excitedly welcomed Light by saying "Master Arah!".

When Light and Pacifica entered the castle, it was possible to see George and Olivia together.

George quickly approached Light and then sincerely shook his hand and hugged him.

Light chuckled inwardly and then said, "It’s been a long time Mr George, it’s good to see you and your group in good health."

"Your friends?" Pacifica asked from behind the white-striped plague mask.

Hearing this, Light was about to reply when George removed his hat and said, "Hello madam, my name is George and behind me is my wife Olivia, it is an honour to meet you. I believe you are the wife of our benefactor Arah."

Light shook his head at these words and then said, "Stop joking George, we just came to check on you, I hope we didn’t come at the wrong time."

When he learns that George and Olivia had nothing to do with Percy and the others, Light’s view of them has already started to change, albeit slowly, which is exactly why Light had not destroyed them.

Therefore, it was not wrong for him to be friendly towards these two and the whole Forsaken group.

"Mr Arah, please don’t wait outside in the cold, let’s go inside," George said.

Light had a lot to talk about, so he did not refuse this invitation. Now he was taking steps towards his revenge, albeit partially.

Of course, there was a bigger issue that had to be dealt with first, an issue that could jeopardise everyone:
