[Ding!]

"Oh…" Void blinked, surprised by the new notification floating before him.

"Hah. I wonder what those slaves are doing. Well, whatever it is, they should keep at it," he muttered lazily.

He was in the Fifth Layer of Space — a place where the murmurs of ancient beings echoed like whispers from eternity. A mere wisp of those sounds drifting to the First Layer would instantly drive weaker creatures insane or dead.

To enter this realm wasn't about whether one could tear through its boundaries — it was about whether one could withstand what came with it.

Around Void floated terrifying Rank 3 entities — the weakest among them being at the Low Rank 3 level.

Of course, it wasn't just the angels who had suffered losses in the war — the demons too had paid a heavy price.

Yet, few of those fallen were from the Primordial Demon Race. Unlike the diluted bloodlines of the Original Sins demons, Void's race possessed the purest essence of demonic origin — a lineage far beyond the reach of sin-based evolution.

While the Sins relied on their vices to grow stronger, Void and his kind needed only souls to ascend.

[Host, you have three scrolls available for transfer to your subordinates.]

"I see…" Void mused, recalling when Sun Wukong had been in danger — how he'd torn through dimensions to save both him and his collapsing universe.

"Useful," he muttered.

Now, Void's size surpassed that of a universe itself. To him, universes were like specks of dust — and he wasn't even the largest among his kind. Other Primordial Demons were equally monstrous.

The saying 'When gods battle, ants perish' had never been more literal.

[Host is currently ranked #1 on the Hans List. Reward: Constant energy infusion to Host.]

"Barely feel the difference," Void muttered with a smirk. "Have I become too strong, or are they just too weak?"

He clenched his fist — and space cracked audibly, shattering like fragile glass.

[Host is a Primordial Demon. The gap between Host's potential and others is immense — not to mention current strength.]

"Hahaha, true," Void laughed. "Now that I think of it… maybe I should transform one of them. At this rate, they'll either be destroyed — or doomed to remain at Rank 4 forever."

He chuckled softly as memories of the past flashed through his mind — the leaderboard. Once, he had a goal to reach the top. Now, he had become the standard itself.

"Well, enough about that… the angel reinforcements are here."

At once, every Rank 3 demon turned in the same direction.

Rippppp…

Dom… Dom…

Something pulsed into existence — space rippling violently as ancient voices screamed across layers of reality. A massive portal slowly opened, stretching endlessly, until its size seemed infinite.

From it poured countless white figures — a swarm of radiant ants at first glance, but upon closer look, each was an angel, their divine wings unfurled in fury.

Each stood at Rank 3 — beings whose mere existence could create or destroy universes.

The demons, of course, wouldn't be outdone.

Void and the others spread their vast wings, rising to meet the incoming angelic army. The closer the two forces drew, the more reality itself trembled. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

At the First Layer of Space, mortals, angels, and demons connected by faith or blood suddenly felt their hearts tighten. A chill ran down their spines.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The first clash erupted — a detonation that tore through existence.

The shockwave spread downward — through the Fourth Layer, Third, Second, First…

Galaxies, universes — all erased in an instant.

Rank 3 beings across countless realities awoke from slumber to resist the destruction, forming barriers to shield their worlds.

Void dodged a divine blade, its light tearing through millions of

mythological unit of dark space.

"Again," he taunted, smirking.

The angel's gaze locked onto him — and in the next instant, it vanished.

Void's expression darkened. "Hm? Oh no—"

He raised his sword. A metallic clang rang out —

BOOM!

Void was sent flying, crashing through the Fourth Layer of Space. Debris caught his fall as blood dripped from his neck.

The angel followed swiftly — its blade slicing Void's throat cleanly.

"Huh…" Void muttered, eyes widening. This isn't speed — they're phasing in and out of existence.

But at his level, decapitation was barely a scratch. His head reattached instantly as dark mist coiled around his wounds.

"System. Scan."

He narrowed his eyes, analyzing the being before him.

[Ding!]

Host: ????

Bloodline: Angelica Ochester (Death Angel)

Rank: 3 (Peak)

Race: Angel

Strength: Peak

Speed: Peak

Stamina: Peak

Laws: Light, Destruction, Death, Creation

Skills: ????

"What the fuck…" Void muttered.

Even at the peak of Rank 3, nearing Quasi-Rank 4, he was being overpowered by a single peak Rank 3 angel.

"System — who are these Death Angels?"

[Host, Death Angels are a specialized heavenly breed. Unlike Common Angels born with Light Law, they are forged solely for killing — wielding Death itself. Each is a miniature god of annihilation, serving as Heaven's ultimate army.]

Silence. Void processed the words — then grinned.

"Haha… makes it exciting."

His demonic blood surged, boiling in ecstasy.

"Primordial Body — Unlock."

His scales darkened, eyes glowing blood-red as twisted markings crawled across his chest.

This was the second time he had unleashed his true body in this war — once against an angel beyond his rank, and now, against a Death Angel.

"Demon," the Death Angel's cold, metallic voice rang out, "prepare to be purified."

Void chuckled.

His sword trembled — four holes along its hilt igniting one by one.

"Heh. Thought I wouldn't be able to use this until Rank 4… but this should be enough."

The fourth hole flared open — and immediately, space vaporized.

The two vanished, reappearing in the Fifth Layer once more.

The Death Angel frowned as its body began to vaporize without heat or flame.

"Fire Law?" it muttered.

"Yes…" Void grinned as a cloud of darkness spread, covering the Death Angel. The effect of voids attack

was instantly dispersed.

Boom!

The angel moved, leaving behind a shattered spatial layer that twisted like collapsing reality.

In the blink of an eye, it appeared before Void—but this time, Void was ready. He raised his sword, clashing directly with the angel's divine blade.

Clang! Sparks erupted.

"So, what law was that?" Void asked with a low chuckle as the Death Angel's eyes widened.

"Law? No… it's Origin," the angel replied coldly, attacking once more.

Void sidestepped, dodging a devastating strike laced with the Law of Death. The very air around him withered—existence itself seemed to decay before the attack faded into the distance.

Void paused briefly, uncertain what the angel meant by Origin.

But he wasn't given the chance to think—another attack came his way, this time carrying the familiar brilliance of the Light Law.

He summoned his darkness as a shield. The two clashed again—light against abyss, the battlefield erupting with new worlds and collapsing universes as their laws collided.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

For a time, they were locked in a dead heat. Even with Void using his Primordial Demon Body, the Death Angel matched him blow for blow.

But the longer Void maintained his form, the more power he could draw upon.

Boom!

Void vanished, reappearing with a brutal kick that twisted the angel's head clean off.

Slash!

The head rolled—only to grow back instantly. The angel's expression darkened, colder than before.

"What? Can't handle one hit?" Void smirked as the angel looked down at its sword.

Cracks spread across the divine blade, threatening to collapse entirely.

"No… you're the first being of the same rank to injure me. What's your name, demon?" the Death Angel asked.

Void laughed, his eyes glowing.

"Exciting, isn't it? I'm Void."

"You'll be remembered," the Death Angel said quietly.

Void's grin faded. Something was wrong.

The Fifth Layer of Space began to twist, warping like a cage around him. A terrifying pressure descended—vast, suffocating, ancient.

Before him, the Death Angel began to morph—its white feathers darkening one by one, until its entire form radiated death itself.

"System!" Void's body groaned under the crushing weight. "Why does Heaven even have beings like this? What the fuck are these Death Angels?"

(Host, these are creatures bred purely for slaughter. They date back to the dawn of existence—the first soldiers of Heaven. Each Death Angel has ranks. The one you're fighting now… is the lowest rank.)

Void froze.

His pupils dilated.

"You're telling me…"

(Yes. The one before you is a Low-Rank Death Angel—Peak Rank 3.)

"...Fuck," Void muttered, his grin twisting into something wild.
