Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World-Chapter 247: End of Heavenly God
Yu Xuan and the Young Heavenly God clashed again and again.
Each collision tore through the skies, birthing a radiance so intense that, all that existed was light.
The brilliance devoured sky — yet for those witnessing it, the truth behind the light was visible: two figures, locked in a struggle.
Yu Xuan’s spear struck relentlessly, each movement precise and devastating.
The Young Heavenly God, however, wielded countless divine weapons, his every motion imbued with impossible coordination.
Spears, blades, hammers, scythes, staffs and many weapons danced in the air, so perfectly synchronized that it seemed an army of gods fought in unison against a single man.
Yet Yu Xuan stood undaunted.
His spear moved with frightening speed, intercepting every weapon that came his way.
Sparks and divine fires erupted with every collision.
When waves of golden flame lunged to devour his life force, feeding strength back into the Young Heavenly God — Yu Xuan’s own chaos flames surged forth to meet them.
The two fires collided, twisting and consuming one another for a battle of supremacy.
At the same time, Yu Xuan’s perception also sharpened beyond imagination.
He activated his skill [Ultra Instinct].
Every attack, every ripple in space, every fluctuation of attack... he felt it.
Anticipated it.
Answered it.
Weapons rained down upon him — spear, sword, scythe, hammer, staff, many more — and Yu Xuan countered them all, his [Formless Martial Path] reaching perfection.
Each movement flowed without beginning or end; his martial intent transcended technique.
But something in the battle shifted.
The Young Heavenly God — felt a pressure mounting from Yu Xuan’s presence.
With each passing moment, his opponent’s energy grew.
It was unnatural.
So, the Young Heavenly God moved.
Sensing a crisis, he withdrew and clapped his hands.
Instantly, the countless ethereal arms and weapons surrounding him vanished — so too did the sword and spear in his grasp.
His divine armor blazed, radiating brilliance.
Then, the light dimmed.
One by one, the wings on his back began to glow, etched with the runic sigils of his vanished weapons.
A moment later, those wings exploded into golden motes — and a colossal phantom rose behind him.
It was his own form, magnified to a god’s true scale, towering over the skies.
The phantom’s body burned with golden flames, its hands clutching myriad weapons.
The pressure it released made space tremble.
The phantom raised its arms and the world turned gold.
A storm of divine weapons fell like judgment, raining upon Yu Xuan with enough force to erase him from existence.
But Yu Xuan was not idle.
He had long sensed this coming, and within his body, energy had been building to an unbearable peak.
He steadied his breath as Darkness and reincarnation energy spiraled together.
The skull at the base of his spear began to glow — its hollow eyes flickering with multicolored reincarnation light.
Yu Xuan poured his darkness into it, the two forces — intertwined into one.
The weapon trembled, alive with wrath.
When the rain of divine weapons descended, Yu Xuan thrust forward, and the realm itself shuddered.
The God-Slaying Spear collided with the Young Heavenly God’s divine arsenal, and the world convulsed.
Sky fractured. Space warped. And devastation unfolded.
When the light finally faded, Yu Xuan was flung backward. His body drenched in blood, yet his eyes remained calm. A faint smile curved his lips.
But across from him — the Young Heavenly God’s expression had changed.
A terrible premonition gripped his heart.
Yu Xuan began to move.
One step.
Then another.
Each step was calm, deliberate, yet with every motion the suffocating pressure around the Young Heavenly God grew heavier.
The spear in Yu Xuan’s hands hummed, its edge vibrating as if resonating with the surroundings.
He poured his energy into it, darkness and reincarnation intertwining, until the weapon trembled.
Then suddenly — the Young Heavenly God found he could no longer move.
Yu Xuan’s eyes turned ethereal, his voice became heavy.
"The First Form, Immobilization."
Space itself stilled. The realm around them became a sealed environment, isolated from the surroundings.
Then from every direction, grey chains burst forth from the void, wrapping around the limbs of the Young Heavenly God. Each chain, binding not just his body, but his divine essence.
"The Second Form, Vulnerability."
The chains darkened, turning black as they began to siphon divine energy.
The Young Heavenly God struggled, roaring, but his strength only fed the bindings that drained him.
He could feel it, his power slipping away.
Then Yu Xuan lifted the spear, his gaze sharpening.
"The Third Form, Fracture of the True Divine Spirit."
The God-Slaying Spear became ethereal, its edge slipping between reality and illusion.
With a single motion, Yu Xuan hurled it.
It vanished, then reappeared, piercing cleanly through the Young Heavenly God’s forehead.
A roar of agony tore through the sealed space.
The god’s consciousness trembled as an unfamiliar, dreadful force gnawed at the very core of his existence, his true divine spirit fracturing under the spear’s power.
But Yu Xuan was not done. His eyes glowed faintly with colorful reincarnation light.
"The Fourth Form, Severing Godhood."
From the skull at the base of the spear, reincarnation energy surged forth, merging with Law energy.
Waves of multicolored light swallowed the god’s body.
The Young Heavenly God screamed as the concepts that defined his divinity, his authority, his domain, his name — began to collapse and erase themselves.
"The Fifth Form, Heavenly Reversal."
A sudden blaze erupted from the god’s veins.
His divine blood, once radiant gold, began to burn away, each droplet extinguishing the essence that made him a god.
The light around his form flickered and dimmed.
The heavens themselves recoiled as the god’s divine glow died.
"The Sixth Form, True Fall."
Yu Xuan gripped the spear tightly, his muscles trembling as he gathered every shred of remaining strength.
With a single, sweeping strike, he unleashed a torrent of green energy that tore through the god’s being.
The Young Heavenly God howled as his vitality and divine strength were ripped away, drawn into the spear’s skull, which shone brighter and brighter with his stolen life force.
In the span of a breath — a god was reduced to nothing more than a broken shell.
The divine spark within him was gone.
"You... you..." the fallen god stammered, his voice hollow, his form trembling.
Yu Xuan raised his spear once more.
The air froze. The stars above dimmed.
"The Seventh Form, Absolute Oblivion."
The skull at the spear’s base turned spectral, its hollow eyes burning with infinite light. A massive phantasmal skull materialized behind Yu Xuan, its jaw unhinging.
"Farewell."
Yu XUan’s voice echoed like judgment.
The colossal skull devoured the Young Heavenly God whole, erasing him from existence.
Silence followed.
Only Yu Xuan remained, standing amidst the fading remnants of divine light, his spear humming softly in his grasp.
But he was far from fine.
The spear in his hands, trembled once, before dissolving into motes of golden light, vanishing back to wherever it had been summoned from.
Yu Xuan exhaled and slowly lowered himself to the ground. The moment his body relaxed, he realized something.
He couldn’t move.
A violent tremor coursed through his limbs.
His body felt heavy.
Then, across his bloodied skin, cracks began to spread, like glass shattering under pressure.
He coughed up a mouthful of blood, its crimson sheen splattering across the ruined battlefield.
Yu Xuan smiled bitterly.
He knew it clearly, his vessel had endured power it was never meant to contain yet.
The backlash was inevitable.
Without immediate intervention, he would die, not from wounds, but from disintegration.
And still, what irked him more than his condition was the utter lack of movement from the ones who were watching.
He glanced toward the heavens with clear irritation.
’Those old fogies are still watching from up there, aren’t they?’
He snorted, though blood trickled from the corner of his lips.
’Can’t they ever show up before I’m half-dead? No, they’ll wait until I’m on my last breath, heal me, and act like I owe them a favor. Typical Cultivation Elders.’
"Shameless," he muttered weakly, his voice barely audible but full of scorn.
Then, the void split open before him.
A rift of swirling space tore apart, and from it stepped the Martial Ancestor, followed by Fang Wu, Wuji, and Grand Elder Baotian and Tianling, the artifact spirit.
Their gazes fell on the shattered landscape, then on Yu Xuan.
The silence stretched.
Finally, Yu Xuan raised a trembling brow.
"...Can’t you heal me first," he rasped,
"and then admire my condition later?"
The Martial Ancestor coughed lightly.
He waved his hand, and a crimson-gold pill appeared, releasing a faint phoenix cry that resonated through the air.
"I know you’re dying," the Martial Ancestor said calmly, his tone carrying both authority and subtle approval.
"So consider this a gift, for surviving the trial and passing my expectations."
He lifted the pill between two fingers.
"This is the True Phoenix Nirvana Pill, an Immortal Grade elixir. You won’t be able to fully digest it yet, but it will nest in your dantian. When you face death again, it will awaken and heal you completely."
Yu Xuan blinked once. Then twice.
He just stared at the Martial Ancestor, his expression flat and wordless.
The Martial Ancestor met his gaze, and for a long moment.
Finally, he sighed, flicking his fingers.
The pill floated toward Yu Xuan and hovered in front of his lips.
"Fine," the Martial Ancestor muttered, sounding almost exasperated.
Yu Xuan opened his mouth, letting the pill enter. The moment it touched his tongue, warmth flooded through his body.
The Martial Ancestor folded his arms, watching.
For reasons he couldn’t explain, he suddenly felt... his IQ dropping.
’Strange. How strange.’
Even as Yu Xuan now, literally burned, the Martial Ancestor found himself silently wondering,
’Was I always this patient? Or has this brat somehow infected me with his nonsense?’
