Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives-Chapter 101: How Cute!
A eerie voice echoed through the cavernous cathedral, dripping with malicious delight.
"Good job coming this far, but it’s already too late."
Mariabell gasped in terror, burying her face against Victor’s chest as she trembled violently. "Wah! who?".
"Who’s there? Come out! I’m not scared!"
Victor said trying to sound brave despite his shaking voice.
But his body betrayed him, his hands clutching at Mariabelle protectively.
But on the other hand Aisha’s eyes remained locked on the empty space where she sensed the demonic presence lurking in the shadows.
Without hesitation or warning, she hurled her spear with lightning speed across the chamber.
"Now!"she commanded sharply.
The spear pierced through the darkness, striking an invisible target with a sickening wet thud.
But it was revealed to be just a Illusion.
And to add salt to the injury the familiar sinister voice echoed with a laugh.
"Hahahaha... How foolish ".
Mephistopheles materialized from the shadows with a wicked grin, her laughter echoing mockingly through the cathedral.
"You really thought you could hit me? How quaint."
She twirled Aisha’s spear between her fingers before tossing it casually to the side.
"You’re too late little mages. Valerian is already mine now." Her eyes glowed with an unsettling mix of possessiveness and amusement as she surveyed the trio before her.
"You can’t stop what’s already been set in motion. He belongs to me."
Victor instinctively pushed Mariabelle behind him, his voice trembling but defiant.
"You won’t get away with this! We’ll find him!" Aisha’s jaw clenched tightly as she called the spear back with a gesture, her expression hardening with determination.
"You won’t hurt him," she vowed quietly. "I don’t care what kind of deal you made with him - we’ll bring him home safely."
Mephistopheles tilted her head mockingly.
"Such noble intentions from such fragile mortals."
Aisha charged forward, her sword raised for battle, but Mephistopheles merely smirked as she spoke two words that stopped everyone in their tracks.
"Darling~ protect me."
From behind the crumbling altar, Valerian emerged from the shadows, his eyes glowing with a strange purple light.
He moved to stand beside Mephistopheles, positioning himself between her and Aisha’s attack.
"Valerian?" Aisha gasped, her spear lowering slightly as confusion warred with relief in her expression.
"What is she talking about? Why? You’re protecting her?"
Victor stared at his friend in disbelief.
"Valerian, what have they done to you? Get away from that demon!"
Mariabelle looked between Valerian and Mephistopheles with growing dread.
"He’s under her control somehow... this is bad."
Upon hearing Mariabell’s words Aisha noticed something missing...
And she soon found out what.
Valerian’s eyes were vacant, devoid of the warmth and life they once held.
They stared blankly ahead as he stood protectively in front of Mephistopheles, his body moving with an unnatural stillness that sent chills through Aisha’s heart.
"His eyes..." she whispered, her voice cracking with fear and disbelief. "They’re empty. Like he’s not even in there anymore."
Mephistopheles had a smug look in response to the increasing dread of Aisha as she ran a hand possessively along Valerian’s arm, her touch lingering as she admired his obedience.
"He’s been such a good boy for me," she purred, her voice dripping with satisfaction.
"So eager to please his new mistress."
Victor’s face paled as he took in Valerian’s lifeless expression.
"This isn’t him," he choked his words out. "Valerian would never just stand there and let that monster control him!"
Victor’s voice cracked with desperation and anger. "That motherfucker is good at fucking others but not being fucked around by others!" His fear was palpable, his hands clenching into fists as he stared at his friend’s vacant eyes.
Mephistopheles laughed, the sound echoing through the cathedral with cruel amusement.
"Oh, he’s quite enjoying being fucked around actually. In fact..." She leaned closer to Valerian’s ear, whispering something that made his blank expression twitch slightly.
Aisha’s sword remained lowered, her heart aching at the sight of Valerian so completely broken.
"We have to get him away from her somehow," she whispered urgently to Victor and Mariabelle.
"But how? He won’t even recognize us."
Mariabelle wrung her hands nervously."His mind is gone... she’s completely taken control."
Mephistopheles’s eyes curved in satisfaction as she licked her lips thinking of the perfect plan to tease this Saintess in front of her.
Her smirk widened into a predatory grin as she leaned forward and pressed her lips against Valerian’s unresponsive mouth.
The kiss was slow and deliberate, meant to infuriate Aisha while she watched helplessly from across the cathedral.
And just as she wanted...
’huh!’ Aisha’s mind could barely register what was happening.
Her Husband...
Valerian.
’No He’s supposed to me mine!’ she denied the scene she was seeing as her face flushed with raw jealousy and rage.
Her knuckles turned white as she gripped her spear so tightly it trembled.
"Get your fucking hands off him!" she screamed, her voice echoing off the stone walls with feral intensity.
Victor grabbed her arm desperately.
"Aisha, wait! Don’t let her provoke you!"
But Aisha was already losing control, her eyes blazing with possessive fury.
"He’s mine! You can’t have him!" She lunged forward again without any plan or caution whatsoever.
Mephistopheles’ smirk widened again and this time into a triumphant grin as she summoned dozens of dark magic circles around Aisha, the glowing runes humming with malevolent energy.
"Foolish Servant Of Order.." She muttered in contempt.
Shadow chains erupted from the floor and walls, wrapping around Aisha’s limbs with inhuman speed.
"Perfect," the demoness purred, watching her prey become trapped in her intricate web.
"So easy to manipulate with jealousy."
Aisha struggled against the shadow bindings, her face contorted with fury and frustration.
"You bitch! I’ll kill you for this!" she snarled through clenched teeth, but the shadow chains tightened further with each movement.
Victor rushed forward but stopped short when more shadows began to snake toward him.
"Mariabelle, stay back! She’s using Aisha’s emotions against us!" Victor cautioned as he stepped back.
Mariabelle nodded fearfully from behind an overturned pew. ’I can’t do anything here...’ she mentally grimaced as the situation was getting more and more dangerous.
Victor tried to look around for a way around this situation then he remembered that he bought some things with him I’m his bag.
He immediately started scrambling through his bag frantically, his hands shaking as he pulled out various spell components and scrolls.
"I’ve got it... but oh gods, what if I fail?" he muttered desperately.
Mariabelle watched him with wide, terrified eyes.
"Victor, hurry! That demon is going to kill her!"
Victor’s fingers trembled as he began the complex incantation, his voice cracking under pressure.
"Summoning magic... it’s supposed to call an elemental spirit for aid."
He glanced at Aisha struggling against the shadow chains.
"But what if I summon nothing? Or something worse?"
Mephistopheles tilted her head mockingly as she watched his frantic efforts.
"Such amateurish desperation. Go ahead little mage boy, try your best."
Aisha strained against the shadows holding her captive. "Victor! Do it now!"
Victor’s face flushed red with frustration as he shouted desperately,"Damn it hell! It’s not a shounen anime for crying out loud! I’m trying!"
His hands moved frantically as he tried to channel his magic despite the overwhelming pressure of the situation. The runes on his spell scroll began to glow faintly, but the connection felt fragile and unstable.
Mephistopheles watched his pathetic efforts with growing amusement."Oh, how adorable. The little boy is trying to save his friend from my shadow chains."
Mariabelle clutched her hands together tightly. "Please work, please work..." she whispered nervously.
Aisha’s struggles weakened slightly as exhaustion set in from fighting against the oppressive shadows. "Victor... hurry..."
Suddenly Mariabelle Tightly hugged Victor’s back and Muttered "Vic...I believe in you, you can do it, and if you can...then" she paused as her face turned bright red as she fumbled nervously, "We...we...we can go on a d-date!" The unexpected confession caught Victor completely off guard, his mind momentarily distracted from the dangerous spell he was attempting.
"Fuck!" Victor shouted in frustration as his immaturely summoned spell fizzled out, resulting in something utterly useless.
.
.
.
From the swirling magic circle emerged a small, fluffy creature resembling a cross between a kitten and a squirrel with glittery wings.
The creature yawned adorably and fluttered its wings before hopping out of the circle onto an overturned pew.
"Meow?" it chirped innocently before grooming its tiny paws.
Victor stared at the ridiculous summon in disbelief while Mephistopheles burst into laughter.
"Oh my gods! Look at that thing!" she roared with amusement. "You summoned a damn glitter-kitten while your friend is being choked by shadows!"
Mephistopheles’s eyes narrowed as she made a look of contempt, disappointment filled her eyes as she mumbled.
"How Cute! ".
Victor merely gazed at the fluffy creature in front of him as he registered Mephistopheles’s words.
And upon understanding only one line comes to mind.
Emotional Damage 1000X....!!!!
’Please just let me die a painless death’ Victor begged in his mind tears running down his eyes.
