Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives-Chapter 102: Liliana joins the show
Victor’s face flushed with embarrassment as he stared at the tiny creature fluttering its glittery wings."Uh ah hmm," he stammered, completely mortified by his useless summoning.
Mariabelle scrambled for words of encouragement despite her obvious awkwardness."But... but it can probably fight right? Like, with its tiny claws and cute little teeth!"
Her attempt at sounding supportive only made Victor’s humiliation deepen. The adorable creature yawned again, completely oblivious to the life-and-death situation unfolding around it.
Mephistopheles wiped tears of laughter from her eyes."Oh gods, this is priceless! His ’warrior’ summon is a glittering kitten!"
Victor’s shoulders slumped in defeat, his face burning with humiliation as he stared at the useless creature fluttering its wings."Damnit to hell why the fucking hell am I so unlucky!" he screamed in frustration.
The tiny summon responded to his outburst by letting out a soft mewl and curling up into a ball on the pew, completely uninterested in fighting shadows or demons.
Mephistopheles wiped tears of laughter from her eyes."Oh gods, this is too perfect! Your pathetic little summon is taking a nap while your friend gets choked by shadows!"
Aisha strained against the tightening shadows, her voice hoarse with effort."Victor... just forget it... save yourself..."
Victor’s hands clenched into fists as he watched helplessly."I can’t leave you here like this!"
Victor’s desperate cry echoed through the cathedral as he realized the horrifying truth of their situation."Or else Valerian might kill me!" His voice cracked with genuine fear as he stared at his friend’s lifeless eyes.
The ridiculousness of their current predicament struck him suddenly amidst the chaos. Here they were fighting for their lives while Valerian stood guard for their enemy like some mind-controlled puppy.
Mephistopheles’ laughter continued to fill the chamber, mocking their desperate struggle against overwhelming odds."Your little friend is quite adorable in his panic," she purred possessively to Valerian."Watch how they squirm while you protect your new mistress."
Aisha’s struggles weakened further as exhaustion set in from fighting against both shadows and despair.
"Valerian... please fight this..."
Suddenly the air started crackling with raw power as a brilliant purple magic circle materialized in the center of the cathedral, overshadowing Mephistopheles’ dark spells.
From the swirling portal emerged a stunning woman with long pink hair tied into low twintails, curled horns framing her mesmerizing purple eyes.
Her demonic tail swayed behind her as she surveyed the chaotic scene with an amused smirk.
"Kukuku! At last I am here!" she declared with a vicious laugh that echoed through the chamber.
But then her gaze landed on the glitter-kitten which was weird but fine but what shook her world was Valerian’s vacant expression.
Her amusement quickly turned to confusion and then outright bewilderment.
"Wait... what?"
She couldn’t register what was happening as she just managed to break through the world’s barrier with just her Transportation magic circle.
Which took a lot of time since she had to make sure it didn’t alert anybody.
And from her connection through the mark of lust that she shared with Valerian she managed to adjust the coordinates to his location.
But what she is now seeing is utterly out of her expectations.
..
....
Liliana’s crimson eyes narrowed as she took in the absurd scene before her, her demonic tail lashing with growing frustration.
It didn’t take long for her to figure out the situation.
Since there was a Obvious suspect.
"A Djinn? with my Valerian, Why are you standing with that villainess-looking Djinn?" she demanded, pointing an accusatory finger at Mephistopheles.
Her gaze then shifted to the shadow-choked Aisha hanging helplessly from the ceiling.
"And why is the supposed sixth wife saintess bitch wrapped around by creepy shadowy chains?
Don’t tell me you got so tired of her that you made a contract with a Djinn of all things!"
Mephistopheles smirked at the newcomer’s arrival.
"Well well, what have we here? Another one of Valerian’s little pets has arrived to play."
Mephistopheles’ laughter echoed through the cathedral as she gestured dismissively toward Liliana.
"Oh, I didn’t realize you had an actual demon as your wife, dear Valerian."
Her voice dripped with condescension."I’m just a spirit people call ’demonic’ because I’m slightly more mischievous than your average mage. Meanwhile she’s..."
The demoness nodded toward Liliana,"...a pure-blooded demoness from actual hell."
Liliana’s expression darkened further at the insult.
"Mischievous?".
"You call enslaving my husband and torturing my well ahh, yes Rival ’mischievous’?" Liliana hesitated a little in what to call Aisha as she barely knew her.
But nonetheless she took a menacing step forward, her tail swishing dangerously behind her.
Aisha’s voice came out strained and desperate from her shadow bindings, her words twisted by the pain of suffocation.
"Demon... wait that Demon is too powerful for you!"
The sentence was bizarrely constructed, her usual proper speech patterns completely broken by agony.
Despite her dire situation, she was warning Liliana despite their complicated history.
Victor stared between his captured friend and the powerful demoness who had just arrived."She’s right!, that woman is too powerful!"
Mephistopheles tilted her head mockingly.
"Oh look at that, she’s worried about my safety. How touching from someone she once tried to kill."
Obviously Mephistopheles knew that Aisha wasn’t talking about her but she still didn’t forget to make fun of her.
Liliana ignored the Djinn’s taunts entirely as she focused on assessing the situation.
"Those shadows are draining her life force... I need to get those off without hurting her further." Usually she wouldn’t have cared about what happens to some annoying Saintess but...
The current political situation is too complicated...
’Fuck damn it I never liked Politics so why do I have to care about it?’ Liliana thought in annoyance.
If she could she’d have already kidnapped Valerian and fled into her secret base in Paris.
And spend their Honeymoon there.
Thinking too hard about this topic made Liliana only more angry as her eyes glowed with infernal power as she summoned her demonic whips, the flames of hell dancing along their length.
The leather weapons crackled with heat, their tips glowing like molten gold.
"You shall give my Sweetheart back," she hissed through clenched teeth, her voice dripping with deadly intent.
The demoness’s tail twitched behind her as she prepared to strike.
"Your husband belongs to me now," Mephistopheles retorted smugly.
"He made his choice."
Liliana’s lips curled into a predatory smirk.
"He didn’t make any choice while under your control." She flicked one of the burning whips forward experimentally.
"Now hand him over peacefully or I’ll peel that smug grin right off your face."
Victor watched nervously from behind cover.
"She’s really going to fight that thing... this is either brilliant or incredibly stupid..."
The adorable glitter-kitten hopped from the pew onto a nearby column, its tiny wings fluttering with innocent curiosity as it settled in to watch the impending conflict like a fascinated spectator.
Its eyes sparkled with childlike wonder at the sight of two powerful beings preparing for battle.
"Oh for fuck’s sake," Victor muttered under his breath."Even my useless summon is watching this shit show."
Mephistopheles glanced at the creature with amused contempt."Your little summon is more interesting than you are right now."
Liliana ignored the exchange entirely as she coiled her burning whips tighter around her hands.
"Prepare yourself, you bitch. I’m going to tear you apart limb by limb for touching what’s mine."
Mephistopheles’ smirk widened into a predatory grin as she accepted Liliana’s challenge with relish.
"Oh I’m so very curious to see what you can do with those cute little whips of yours," she taunted, her voice dripping with confidence.
"Show me what kind of hellfire a mere succubus can muster against a true spirit like myself!"
Liliana’s purple eyes flashed with fury and possessiveness.
"You have no idea who you’re dealing with," she snarled through gritted teeth.
"I’ve burned the shell of an ancient divine beast to ash for less than what you’ve done to my husband."
|Reference to Tortoise or Turtle Though she’s just bluffing as the shell was barely damaged|
The demoness’s tail lashed behind her as she began channeling dark energy around her hands.
"Very well then... let’s see if your so-called hellfire can even scratch me."
Victor scrambled backward instinctively.
"Holy shit this is happening! Mariabelle get ready to run!"
Victor’s jaw dropped as he turned to see Mariabelle sitting calmly on a nearby pew, snacking on popcorn like she was watching a movie instead of a life-or-death battle.
The glitter-kitten from his disastrous summoning was curled up in her lap, purring contentedly as she stroked its tiny head.
"What the actual fuck?" Victor whispered in disbelief.
"How is this even happening right now?"
Mariabelle looked up from her impromptu snack break with bright eyes.
"I figured if we’re stuck here watching this, might as well make the best of it!" She offered him some popcorn. "Want some?"
Meanwhile, the two powerful demonic beings faced off across the cathedral, their energy crackling with enough force to shatter stone.
"Get ready to watch your precious self get ripped apart!" Mephistopheles sneered.
Liliana’s smile was sharp and deadly. "You’ll be screaming for mercy before this night is over."
|Can you two start already?|
