Almighty Father System-Chapter 415: Daddy Slaying Monsters.

Leo authorized everything from his suite in the hotel, he didn’t even need to go out and in the morning, multiple teams from the Economical Crime Department rushed out of their offices and raided the so-called multinational companies and found thee evidence that they were looking for. The connections to the foreign companies and the cover ups were something nations frowned upon strongly.

The Luger Family had used this similar method to cause the collapse in the west and the east has taken note of this tactice. The CEO’s and the presidents of such companies were arrested, accounts were sealed and the assets were being investigated. This didn’t hamper the market of the country but also the mission that the people of the ministry were planning.

Cash was the key element in the chain of corruption and with the feeders gone, they could not mobilize the funds needed to buy out the trust of the people in the parliament, reason being strict monitoring on them.

Now that their cash chain was broken, they had to resort to extreme methods and slowly plan the deaths of these people who have been opposing them. However, while in the morning, they lost thirty-six big cash companies, in the evening, seventeen deaths were also reported, and all of them were government officials or military heads who killed themselves.

The populace of the country were not fools, they could smell something big happening but they had no proof to point out that something was really happening, and more than that they could not understand who was even capable of doing something of this scale.

Cardinal Group chased after some of the companies to support the employment of the previous staff, but the rest was divided by most of the Sigil Council families. Defense Minister Jitem understood how feeble his planning must have been. After all, in the past decade since he has been elected as the minister, he has been feeding on his goodwill with the forces, and their has been no real development in the military standards.

If the soldiers were to be interviewed they might give Cardinal Group more credit than they would to the ministry. Not because of the charity but because the Cardinal Group hired their vets, and also gave them free equipments whenever they can. This was the pull Leo Cardinal had in the hearts of the populace, despite the shady operations in the shadow to remove the pests that he committed, it was unknown to the people and they liked him.

Defense Minister Jitem lost seventeen of his close confidantes, and he was sitting in his chair with a solemn face. He could not make the heads or tails of the situation and just then his phone began to ring. He quickly picked up the call and asked, "Hello, who is this?"

He was the minister, and only one person would call him on this number. The other person said, "It seems to us that many things have failed all of a sudden on your side. What is going on?"

Jitem sighed and replied, "I have no clue how this happened, we have been paying strict attention to security and deep covers, none of the people that were involved in this had come from outside the country and even the funding was legitimate, carefully planned for the past decade."

The person on the other side said, "It seems that the Old King had some cards in his hands. What is this about the involvement of the Cardinal Family? Do you suspect they have made any move?"

Jitem didn’t want to admit that Leo Cardinal could pull off something this sophisticated, but having spent such a long time in the military and the government, he knew better, and said, "I have a strong hunch that somehow he has managed to pull this off, how he did it, that is a different thing. I have no evidence against him, because if he has made this move, then it must have been a plan that kicked off years ago."

The person on the call rejected this idea, "We have complete record of his activities from the past, it is confirmed that he had no power to act against you all those years ago."

Jitem clenched his fists and said, "If that is the case, then this plan must have been a recent action that he took, tell me, Sire, if someone is capable of destroying our decade old network in just a day, how much does he know, and what is his strength? This enemy is rather formidable."

The person on the call fell silent and then replied, "What you said makes sense, I will handle these things when we have more details on his actions."

Jitem nodded in a silent agreement, after all, what other option did he have? Then after a few moments he asked, "What shall I do in the meantime?"

The person replied, "Just hold on, for now, and we will contact you when we have a new plan."

Jitem could not even reply when the call was disconnected, and then he was about to slam the mobile on his table, the device began to ring again. Jitem picked up the call, and heard an unfamiliar voice on the other side, "Hello, Minister Jitem, I am someone you have been seeking to punish very eagerly, the head of the Bloody Eagle Organization."

Jitem froze, and Leo continued, "I am calling to inform you, that we have the proof of your corruption and the conspiracy where your misjudgement had seventy soldiers die in the line of duty five years ago."

Jitem shivered, he was not excited, but he was scared, and he asked, "What do you mean by that? How do you know this?"

Leo replied, "I know a lot more than what you can even imagine. However, that is not something that you should worry about. How would you like it if I published the evidence where you are conspiring with the Morning Star Tower? Do you think that the soldiers who fight for the safety of the innocents back home would appreciate their so called hero to be in cahoots with the Morning Star Tower, where the members sacrifice innocents and even feed on human flesh?"

Jitem was shocked, he stood up from his chair and yelled, "I have dome no such thing. How dare you accuse me of these crimes against the humanity without any concrete proof?"

Leo chuckled and said, "Could it be that you have no idea that the so called messiah behind the scenes are the members and handlers from the Morning Star Tower? Could it be that you think that those westerners who have been supporting you are really your sympathizers? Mister Jitem, how foolish can a grown man be, you might want to journal that and release a book to the people."

Jitem could not stand this ridicule, but he knew that the other person did have solid proof of his wrong doing and asked, "What the fuck do you want from me?"

Leo smiled and replied, "Kill yourself, and I will not pursue it. You would have died on duty and your family will be treated nicely, you will get a state funeral and your children and grandchildren will still be favored as the children of the Hero, but if you deny that, then I will make a move, and then your family will be stripped of not only honor, but they will also be forced to live on the street and someday when no one is paying attention anymore a mob will come to treat them the same way as the victims of the Morning Star Tower have suffered and I am sure you don’t want that to happen? Do you?"

The threat was clear and Jitem knew that Leo was going to do it. He could not understand what was going on things were unfolding too fast for his comprehension. He wanted to talk to his messiahs, but Leo’s next words crushed it, "You have one hour to think, if I didn’t receive the news of your death, then we are going live."

The call was disconnected, and that was it. Jitem fell back in the chair, and his phone beeped a few times, he opened the message and it was the record of his connections to the Morning Star Tower. His face turned pale in realization that his ploy has been exposed.

Leo finished talking to Jitem and instructed Alpha to follow the procedure, if Jitem is not neutralized then the evidence would be made public. He was laying in his bed, when a tiny head popped up from the door, and Leo smiled. Lily walked over to him with a skip in her step and Leo picked her up in his arms. Lily settled down in his lap and leaned her head on his chest as she asked, "Baba, can you tell Lily a story?"

Leo smiled, his heart melted when Lily talked coy, and he patted her back as he asked, "Which one do you want to here?"

Lily thought for a bit and replied, "I want to hear one where baba slays the monsters."
