Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes-Chapter 23: More Than Anyone Expected
Chapter 23 - More Than Anyone Expected
The question gave a list of materials to be mixed under the alchemy branch and asked what could be done with these materials.
It was very strange that there was an alchemy question in the exam, after all, the academy did not care much about training alchemists, after all, alchemists were not very important in the current era.
Atlas had already managed to complete this question in almost thirty seconds, but he was still confused. There was no correct answer about the use of materials in the options of the question.
In other words, it became clear at that moment that the question was deliberately there to make students think and not to make anyone get a full score.
That's exactly why Atlas had written the formula of a slimming potion he had created with his own hands in his previous life.
The ingredients were almost identical, maybe this would not be accepted as the correct answer, but he could get full points for the importance he attached to that question.
That's why he couldn't stop talking to Cordelia, who was standing right in front of him when he gave her time to check the papers:
"My lady, there may be a mistake in the last question. There were no correct choices for the potions that could be made from the ingredients. That's why I wrote the option that can be made on the use of materials, time constraints and processing time. Even if it's a potion I created myself, I still wanted to write it anyway, I want to get full points after all."
After Atlas' words, Cordelia came to the last question on the last page and looked at Atlas with great astonishment.
"Is what is written here true?" Cordelia questioned with great curiosity.
"Yes, my lady, it is the very potion I used when I hunted goblins in the village where the dead tree was located." Atlas lied briefly, he had already used this weakening potion many times in his previous life.
The source of this c𝐨ntent is freeweɓnovēl.coɱ.
On top of that, he had created this potion himself, even if it was not a very powerful potion, it was one of the best potions Atlas could create with his capacity and limited potential.
It was a potion that could break a monster's defence by 60% for only one minute. It could be used as a massive defence-breaking tool, there was nothing wrong with the potion except that it was only for a minute.
At Atlas' words, Cordelia looked towards the area where the professors were gathered and then shouted, "Frank!"
Atlas' heart skipped a beat as he heard the name, he was going to see a man he had only seen a few times before, a man who was considered to be the greatest alchemist in history.
When Frank had made his way through the crowd of professors to Cordelia, she handed him his fifth exam paper and asked, "Can you check it?"
Frank took the paper from Cordelia's hand with great astonishment and then started to look at the answer to the last question. With every second that passed, the look of surprise on Frank's face seemed to increase to a much greater degree.
After almost three minutes he finally stopped and said, "Unbelievable..."
"He enhances the effects of the three types of poisons with an extract of liquid ecstasy, then adds the spark grain to the formula, and after thorough boiling and combining, the potion is ready for use. An increased potency...but it must reduce the potion's potency time considerably...maybe two? No, I think it's down to a minute," Frank added.
Atlas didn't know what to say. It showed Frank's intelligence and knowledge that he could completely understand everything from a formula he had only seen once.
Atlas hadn't written down the potion's duration of action, and it was incredible that Frank had realised all this...
"Young man, did you really create this potion?" Frank asked with great interest.
Atlas nodded his head and said, "Yes, I like to go to black markets and buy herbs cheaply, and since my sister is away most of the time, I have a lot of time to do you know..."
The fact that he was openly saying that he went to the black market was very funny to everyone, but who would have thought that a young person doing such a thing would make it possible for such a potion to be created?
"You should patent this potion, young man. I swear to you, it would be the most sensible move of your life. It's such a potent potion...think about it, it's possible to weaken the leader of a high-level dungeon or a wave of monsters out there in the wild to the point where their defence is practically ignored." Frank suddenly muttered and with that, he handed the paper back to Cordelia.
"Ma'am, it would be very good for the young man to do this, and our school could become the junior holder of the main licence, which would be good for the students," Frank added.
With that, Cordelia's interest was greatly piqued and then the beautiful woman herself turned to Atlas and said, "You passed, young man, you are the only person in the academy in the last five hundred years to get full marks. I am happy to give you an S-Grade, at least on the written exam, the next exam will be the combat exam."
Atlas nodded his head at these words and said, "Yes, my lady, I would be honoured."
After all these words, the table and chair in the area were collected and Atlas was placed at the other end of the area.
Cordelia opened her palm and then carefully said the following words:
"I heard that you have three magic rings, at least three they say, something that has never happened in the history of the academy, a huge potential, and on top of that, if what our old crybaby elf says is true, you only had zero magic rings until six months ago. Which means you might even need special training. Still, there aren't many monsters in the academy I can unleash on you right now, except for myself."
Atlas had no idea how much of a headache he was in for.
