Attribute Farming System-Chapter 103: Everyone in the Water Kingdom Gathers!
CRACK—
The rock shattered, revealing a shiny, pointed object that magically floated in the air. Its appearance was that of a tattoo with a three dimensional feel to it. Moreover, it was in the shape of a bleeding eye hieroglyphic, making it look quite ominous and domineering.
{[Mark of a Lower Outer God]} - [Divine]
—[Upon assimilation with the Mark, the User will acquire the most basic of Outer God Physiques. Furthermore, the User will gain full control over Pandora and the extending Devilstar Secret Realm.]
"He chose correctly." The Six-Winged Seraphim felt a mountain's worth of stress lift off of his back. "Now that unfilial cretin will learn the true consequences of messing with what was Master's."
FWIP!
Teleporting beside the perplexed youth, the Six-Winged Seraphim said, "You must put it close to the center of your forehead. Only that way can the assimilation process commence."
"???" Starting in surprise, Knox shot his cautious gaze behind him. "How did you get here??"
"That is unimportant," replied the Six-Winged Seraphim. "Time is of the essence right now; you have to do as I instructed."
"And if I don't?"
"...Then we're all doomed…"
Knox closed his mouth, his pupils reflecting the splendor of the levitating bleeding eye mark. "A Divine-ranked Item… Will assimilating with this thing improve my power…?"
The Six-Winged Seraphim would've laughed if not for the urgency of the situation. "It'll do far more than that. It'll alter who you are—who you'll become. This process will most certainly be one of the most important events that'll ever happen for you."
Knox more intently scrutinized the floating symbol. "Alter who I am—"
RUMBLE—!!!
"!!!" "!!!" "!!!"
The Secret Realm was on the verge of collapse, with pieces of the sky crumbling and plummeting.
"I'M HERE!!!"
The Six-Winged Seraphim sensed the movement of the World Serpent, but they both knew that he wouldn't be able to hold out for long.
Sharply turning back toward Knox, the Six-Winged Seraphim shouted, "You must decide now! There's no time!!"
Knox—not knowing what the smartest choice was—did what he did best. He said, "Fuck it." before guiding the floating symbol to his forehead.
OUNG—!!!
The reaction produced by the assimilation of the Outer God's Mark was tremendous. Waves of goldish purple energy rolled out of Knox's figure, enshrouding the entire world in a blanket of regality.
"What's going on!?" Cela looked to the source of the incalculably powerful surge of energy. Worry quickly consumed her heart when she realized that Knox could no longer be seen. "Darling!!!"
She tried rushing the Moleseum, but was almost immediately denied entry by an impermeable barrier set up by the Six-Winged Seraphim. He spoke directly into her head:
"He'll be fine."
Although Cela was still overcome with sorrow and trepidation, she stopped smashing into the barrier. However, she couldn't bring herself to leave the scene, so she stayed right there, impatiently awaiting Knox's reappearance.
Yennefer felt something inside her tug her in the direction of the Moleseum, but she resisted the pull. She couldn't… She couldn't allow herself to be controlled by the heat of the moment.
She and Knox were strangers. Just two people forced into something that neither of them asked for.
It should stay that way…
Shouldn't it…?
— Meanwhile, in the world outside the Devilstar Secret Realm's Entrance in the Water Kingdom —
"What happened?? The screen suddenly went dark!"
"And just when it was getting to the good part!"
"Who would've thought that the infamous trash of the Falazar Count Family would turn out to be so formidable!? It's the plot twist of the century! Show us the feed!!"
"Turn it on!"
"Turn it on!"
"Turn it on!"
Cultivators that came from all over the Water Kingdom hollered to the top of their lungs. Public outrage over the blackening of the floating screens was prevalent.
"Silence!"
However, with just a single word from a domineering figure who stood at the very top of the Water Kingdom's hierarchy, everyone instantly shut their traps.
The Water Deity!
"What do you think is happening within the Secret Realm?" The whisperings of one of the Soul Formation Realm Water Deity Children were directed to Lunar-Killer Child. "After Junior Brother Star-Gazer lost to that Enigma, I didn't think things could get much worse. But now, with this most recent issue, Master's face is not looking too good."

Lunar-Killer Child briefly side-glanced at his Junior Brother. "Don't bother yourself with something that even Master doesn't understand. We're vastly inferior to him, so thinking any more on the matter will only be deemed a waste of time."
"...Yes, Senior Brother…"
After finishing his short conversation with his Junior Brother, Lunar-Killer Child flipped his icy gaze between those whom he considered to be his Senior Brothers. Those ranked #5 through #1 in the Sect.
#1. Abyssal-Tide Child - (Half-step Soul Transformation Realm)
#2. Serene-Flow Child - (Peak Soul Formation Realm)
#3. Torrential-Storm Child - (Peak Soul Formation Realm)
#4. Azure-Moon Child - (Peak Soul Formation Realm)
#5. Drifting-Fog Child - (Late Soul Formation Realm)
'Although Senior Brother Abyssal Tide is in the same Realm as the Master, they are still leagues apart in terms of actual strength.' Lunar-Killer Child analyzed while looking at the powerhouses from the other gathered Factions. 'And since there are those equal to Master in terms of Battle Power here, an all-out fight would be severely disadvantageous.'
It wasn't only their Water Deity Sect that called all their primary forces when Knox Falazar's true prowess was revealed. Learning of an existence who could very well threaten every single one of them in due time put everyone on edge.
The Ten Thousand Poisons Sect.
All of the Count Families.
Duke Meldon, Duke Willow, Duke Demi, and Duke Softshore.
Dozens of other Rank 3 and Rank 4 Sects.
Whether for the purpose of opposing him or getting on his good side, virtually every major faction in the Water Kingdom Sect arrived for the sake of a single person. A young man once overlooked as trash worth less than the grime stuck to the bottom of one's shoe.
