Maxwell had them sit down at the table. Not because he didn't want to touch Andrew, but because he wanted to have a serious conversation and if he was too close to the other man he wouldn't be able to control himself.

Maxwell made it very clear to Andrew that he was being on his best behaviour right now. It was their honeymoon and Maxwell found the amount of clothing that Andrew had on right now an offense.

Honestly, it was a nice thing to hear. Andrew never doubted that Maxwell wanted him, but that didn't mean he didn't like it when Maxwell got forward. He felt it was a good thing that they had some separation for his sanity as well.

Now that they were in their final destination, Andrew couldn't stop thinking about what he saw in that damn suitcase. His mind kept spiraling back to the glimpse he'd caught, which made it hard to focus on Maxwell. He was going to, he had to.

So, Andrew took Maxwell's hand across the table. For stability, and grounding. The late afternoon sunlight pouring in through the floor to ceiling windows made the moment feel surreal, magical. Just simply sitting at a table with the man felt like an otherworldly experience.

Andrew shivered.

God, wait till he got his mouth on him. In that soft-looking bed, his hands against Maxwell's creamy skin.

"Andy." Maxwell's tone was filled with humour as he spoke and Andrew inhaled sharply, realising he was releasing pheromones from the soft way that Maxwell was looking at him.

"Sorry." Andrew apologised, his face feeling warm. Maxwell squeezed his hand.

"It's okay. I'm barely keeping it together too. I'm sure they think we have great restraint since we haven't descended on each other like starved animals." Maxwell joked and Andrew felt his lips twitch. That was…a good description for how Andrew felt inside.

"Then let's get this discussion out of us because I am itching to have you, Maxy." Andrew spoke quietly, with great meaning, and watched as Maxwell's ears turned bright pink. He coughed, dropping his gaze for a moment.

"Yeah, of course." Maxwell muttered, before the pink faded from his ears and he sighed. He looked…upset and Andrew grew worried. "I'm sorry for keeping this from you." Maxwell started and Andrew furrowed his brows in confusion. "I thought Dad would have spoken to you about this so that I didn't have to." Maxwell said, then clenched his jaw tightly. "But that idiot said he wanted to wait till after the honeymoon and I nearly lost it. I don't think it's right to keep anything from you. You're my husband, and while this is a shitty subject, I respect you enough to tell you about it." Andrew had no idea where Maxwell was going with his words, but whatever he wanted to say, Andrew was listening.

"Thomas wanted to keep something from me?" Andrew asked carefully. "Why?" Andrew watched Maxwell flinch before his grip tightened on Andrew's hand.

"Your father and a few other family members that were on the run tried to ruin the wedding." Maxwell told him softly. Andrew inhaled sharply. What? "Nothing happened. I wasn't even told in the moment. Dad and Mom had it locked down, so did Ben. They had anticipated something like this, especially Kim, so she made sure that her people and Dad's people knew about it." Andrew felt his spine stiffen.

That was the last thing he expected to hear from Maxwell's mouth, yet at the same time? Completely expected. Of course they wouldn't want him to have a moment of happiness. Those fuckers.

"Did they get taken to the police?" Andrew asked and Maxwell's lips twitched.

"Uh, apparently they got 'lost in transit' for a few hours and then showed up at the meet up place looking far more battered than promised. Dad said it was an accident. No one corrected him. They were in one piece, after all, and they did attempt to ruin my wedding. Some things had to be overlooked." Maxwell's recounting filled Andrew's head as he tried to process the words he spoke. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

Some of them had been caught, and not only that, beaten. More and more of them were being brought in. It was only a matter of time before the last of the monsters were caught. Andrew was sure of it.

From the way that Maxwell was looking at him, worried, anxious, like Andrew might break, he expected a severe reaction from Andrew when he heard the words. Andrew kind of expected the same reaction.

After all, these monsters had not just attempted to ruin his life, but had tried to do the same to his Mom, siblings, Maxwell, everyone that touched Andrew's life even for a second. Andrew would expect a rather loud, aggressive reaction from himself. He couldn't do it though.

He just didn't care enough about them.

It was a freeing feeling. Not being upset, not being angry. He was a little bit, but it bordered more on being annoyed than anything else. They had been hiding for so long and it was Andrew's wedding that they surfaced? Did they think Andrew was a damn fool? That the family he was marrying into wasn't going to protect what they considered their own?

They were fools, plain and simple, and Andrew couldn't even muster enough anger to fill a glass. He'd gotten a lot of his anger out in therapy, and now? Now this was his damn honeymoon. He had married the love of his life and he was not about to let those damn assholes ruin a single damn moment.

Andrew squeezed Maxwell's hand tightly for a moment before he exhaled.

"I'm not going to let them ruin a single moment of my time with you." Andrew told him seriously. Maxwell stared at Andrew, clearly a little surprised by his words and the serious weight to them. Andrew watched as Maxwell swallowed, scanning Andrew's face. Not because he didn't trust him, but because Maxwell cared for him and wanted to make sure that was true.

Then, his expression softened, sweetened and Maxwell let out a breath.

"Oh good. They aren't worth anything, anyways." Maxwell said warmly and Andrew's responding grin was a little devious.

"Right? Not even a speck of dirt on the bottom of your shoe." Andrew told him, raising their joined hands to press a kiss to Maxwell's wrist. "Is there anything else you'd like to speak about?" Andrew asked, his own questions burning in his mind. He had a few things he wanted to ask, like what he wanted to do while they were here, anything that he wanted to eat? What he wanted to try?

Andrew tried not to let his thoughts taint the air. Maxwell might not be thinking in the same vein as him, so Andrew needed to prepare himself emotionally.

Maxwell's eyes were locked on the spot that Andrew had just kissed, his lips slightly ajar before his tongue darted out, running and the seam and he closed his lips. His blue gaze raised to Andrew's and Andrew felt a shiver run down his spine.

"I want to talk about what we plan to do here." Maxwell said, his voice dropping. Husky, alluring, making Andrew's hair stand on end. Tension filled the air and Andrew let out a harsh breath.

"What we plan to do here?" Andrew repeated, his mind fogging. Oh god, he couldn't stop thinking about Maxwell in those lacy things upstairs. On the bed, on the lounger upstairs. Hell, even on the damn table in front of him.

Maxwell nodded slowly, his chest rising and falling a little faster.

"Yeah, Andy. We planned." Maxwell cut off, his voice cracking. Pink tinged his ears. "W-We planned to make a baby." Maxwell whispered, his voice fading and Andrew felt his stomach drop.

He remembered.

Maxwell remembered.

Andrew's vision faded for a second as several emotions hit him at once. Victory, fear, satisfaction and an all encompassing desire for the man sitting across from him.

"You remembered?" Andrew finally rasped, his own voice feeling tight. Maxwell licked his lips, nodding, his blue eyes wide. It wasn't quite worry, but something akin to it was in his eyes.

Andrew raised his free hand, covering his eyes for a moment because damn it, he was going to cry like a baby. "I'm so damn happy you remembered." Andrew whispered. Maxwell let out a soft gasp.

"I was worried you were going to change your mind." Maxwell blurted out. "I've been thinking about it this whole time." Maxwell squeezed his hand tightly, so tightly that Andrew knew that the man was nervous.

"I packed condoms." Andrew rasped. "I wasn't sure if you were going to-"

"I'm cutting the fucking tips off of them if you attempt to use them." Maxwell cut him off, his words slightly concerning but the intention behind them made Andrew's chest fill with laughter. He raised his head, uncovering his eyes to meet the sincere and worried gaze of his husband. His.

Andrew got up and moved until he was before Maxwell, still holding his hand. He reached for the man, pulling Maxwell in for a kiss that was all tongue. Maxwell moaned as Andrew gripped the back of his head, angling him so that he could taste him properly. Maxwell's soft little noises spurring Andrew on, his body tense from the need that pumped through him.

When Andrew pulled back slightly, both of them were breathing heavily. Andrew rested his forehead against Maxwell's, their noses lightly brushing against each other. Their breaths mingled, Maxwell's face pink, his eyes staring into Andrew's.

"Are you ready to make a baby, Maxy?" Andrew asked and watched as Maxwell swallowed thickly. He heard the soft whisper of fabric moving and Andrew glanced over, watching as Maxwell's hand slid down his body.

Andrew's heart jumped into his throat as Maxwell rested a hand over his stomach.

"I'm ready for you to give me everything. Fill me up over and over. I want to make a baby, Andy." Maxwell whispered. Andrew had to close his eyes,, his teeth clenching with the desire to just bite the man and make a mess of him.

"Oh fuck." Andrew whispered. "You nearly made me cum with your words alone." Andrew told him. Maxwell let out a light laugh and it sounded a little delirious.

"We can't waste a drop." Maxwell teased. Andrew twitched. He moved, his lips pressing against Maxwell's ear.

"Angel, you're getting pregnant on the first round. Everything else? That's to make sure it sticks." Andrew whispered. Maxwell let out a soft, helpless noise in the back of his throat.

"Oh god." Maxwell responded, his eyes glazed when Andrew pulled back. He wasn't going to be calling for god for long. Andrew's name would be the only name on his lips.
