Chapter 333: Chapter 333: Teasing Trouble Caught in the Act

~Zayn’s POV~

"Evric knows you have a child?" She asked, her voice a mix of surprise and respect.

"Yes, he knows everything," I confirmed.

Mom’s expression softened, a mix of pride and admiration in her eyes. "Zayn, Evric is a remarkable man. It takes someone truly special to accept this so fully, without hesitation."

"Yes, Mom, I know," I said. "So when Evric suggested we redo the DNA test, I agreed immediately. We did it independently, and the results confirmed it, I am truly Liam’s father."

"Liam," she murmured, a gentle smile spreading across her face. "That’s your son’s name... How lovely. I’m truly glad you’ve had the chance to meet him."

I immediately reached into my pocket, pulling out my phone. I quickly navigated to my photo gallery and showed her Liam’s picture, first, a portrait of just Liam, and then a candid one I’d taken of Evric, Liam, and myself.

Mom took the phone, her face lighting up with pure grandmotherly joy. She kept saying how cute Liam looked, pointing out how much he looked like me when I was little. We shared a few moments of easy, happy silence, both of us smiling brightly.

Then, slowly, her mood changed. Her smile faltered as she stared at the picture of Evric holding Liam.

"What happened, Mom?" I asked, concerned by her sudden shift.

She held the phone closer, pointing at the photo. Evric was asleep on the bed, Liam curled up safely and contentedly in his arms. The image radiated pure, tender care.

Mom set the phone aside and took both of my hands in hers, holding them firmly. "Zayn, see this. Evric is a good man, truly. He welcomed Liam without hesitation, without a second thought for how it might change your life together."

Her voice became earnest, filled with the wisdom of a mother who had seen it all. "He is giving you a life, a family, and an unconditional love. You have found a partner who honors your past and embraces your future. He is a good man, son. You must respect him, Zayn. You must treat him like he is everything to you, because that is exactly how he is treating you and now, your son."

"Never let a little argument, or a moment of frustration, make you forget the depth of his commitment. Treasure him. A love and a loyalty like this are rare. Promise me you will always put your relationship and his feelings first, the way he is clearly putting you first."

Her words weren’t a reprimand; they were a heartfelt plea, a mother begging her child not to throw away something precious.

"I promise, Mom," I murmured, tightening my grip on her hands. "I promise I will. I know I’ve made mistakes. I haven’t always been fair to him, but I’m learning. I’m trying."

She gave a small, knowing nod, "I know you are, Zayn. But trying alone isn’t enough when someone this good is in your life. You have to show him every day, in every way, that you appreciate him."

"Okay, Mom."

She released my hands and patted my cheek gently. "Now, go on."

I stood up, feeling a fresh wave of purpose. I leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Thank you, Mom. For everything. For listening."

"Go," she urged, shooing me with a soft smile.

I walked toward the bedroom, my mind buzzing with the weight of my mother’s advice. I gently knocked once and, without waiting for an answer, stepped inside.

I found Evric sitting at the small desk, engrossed in work. His laptop was open, and he was clearly talking to someone, headphones covering his ears and his brow furrowed in concentration. When I entered, he paused mid-sentence.

"Babe, are you busy?" I asked softly.

He pulled his headphones down slightly, resting them around his neck. "Yes, a little, actually," he said, giving me an apologetic look. He tilted his head. "Do you need something?"

"Yes," I replied, feeling a sudden, potent need for his undivided attention, and his reassurance.

I walked over to him, gently easing myself onto his lap. I straddled him, settling down comfortably onto his legs.

First things first. I leaned in, gazing at him with absolute devotion. "Kiss me, Daddy."

He chuckled softly, clearly charmed, and leaned in to give me a sweet, lingering kiss. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

"Okay," he whispered against my lips, pulling back slightly. "Now, what did you need?"

I tightened my arms around his neck, my hormones, and the sheer emotional stress of the morning, suddenly taking over. The need for physical closeness became overwhelming. Playfully I said, "I need all of you on me. I wanted to tear him apart, saying: I need your cock inside my mouth..."

Before I could finish the brazen sentence, Evric let out a sharp, choked cough. His eyes were wide with sudden panic, and his hand shot up to clamp firmly over my mouth.

"What, baby? Don’t stop me, I’m hungry for your cock..." I tried to mumble through his hand, bewildered by his sudden distress.

Evric quickly pulled his headphones back into place, his voice a panicked, urgent whisper. "Stop!" he hissed, looking utterly horrified. "I’m on a video call with my parents!"

My face instantly flushed with heat. My body went rigid. His parents? They had heard me. They had clearly heard everything.

I dared not look back at the glowing screen of the laptop. I was completely mortified. I slapped his shoulder repeatedly, a flurry of silent, panicked blows. Why didn’t you speak up earlier, you little...!

Evric, however, was trying to stifle a laugh, his eyes twinkling mischievously as he looked down at my utterly embarrassed face.

I jabbed his chest lightly, frustration bubbling through me. "Why is this funny to you? Why are you smiling?" I muttered, my voice low and tense. "Why didn’t I see the video call earlier?"

He managed to get his breath back, his smile widening. "Because," he whispered, gesturing toward the screen with a nod, "I minimized the call, and more importantly, you weren’t focusing on the screen at all. You were too focused on teasing me. Now you’ve got exactly what you were looking for."

"That is not what I was looking for!" I hissed back, burying my face deeper into his neck. The shame was suffocating. I kept my gaze fixed firmly on his chest, refusing to make eye contact with the faces I knew were peering back at us through the webcam. I was too ashamed to even breathe normally.

It was the most awkward, humiliating, and utterly hilarious moment of my life.

I could only hope that the connection was bad, or that they were hard of hearing. Please, let them think I was ordering socks!
