Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 228: Hand Eye
Jimmy did not know what to expect when he put the ring on. It could be anything and nothing at the same time, he wouldn’t know, but he had high hopes!
"Come on..." He clenched his fist, "Am I wearing some fuckass alien’s wedding ring?"
For a moment, the ring’s properties were anti-climactic. He expected the world from it, and got nothing in return, not in the first minute, at least.
He had been so eager, so insistent to get something good out of the ring that he didn’t take it off for a whole minute, and once the abilities, or effects that the ring caused made themselves present, he felt stupid that he didn’t take the ring off earlier on!
The effect was horrifying.
At first it was subtle. It was subtle because he only felt a tiny little headache that lasted only for a few seconds, it was light, and it hit him seconds after he put the ring on, so when he was a minute into the ordeal, he had forgotten about that tiny headache all together.
What made it horrid, and impossible to ignore, was when the effects of the ring escalated to the maximum of what it could offer!
Simply put, Jimmy could see the ground now, even though he wasn’t looking at the ground below him. He was looking ahead, and yet, he could see both ahead, and towards the ground at the same time!
At first, he naturally didn’t know what was going on, so he was stressed out.
He raised his hand up to wipe some of the sweat off of his forehead, and this was when he discovered the horrid truth!
He had been able to look at the ground, because his right hand had been pointed towards it. He grew a third eyeball on his palm!
"What the fuck!" He shouted, and hurried to yank the ring off of his finger, but he couldn’t. "No!"
The ring wasn’t stuck on him or anything like that, he was just getting disoriented. Dizzy.
Having two literal points of view blasting his brain with information wasn’t as simple as one would assume. It overloaded his senses in a very short time, and it didn’t help that he was panicking. He even scratched his hands a little bit, as he desperately tried to pull the ring off.
"Ouch!" He grunted, as he accidentally poked, and scratched the third eye that was on his palm. "God... why!"
At last, he managed to pull the ring off, and didn’t care to salvage it. He threw it away at random, and never planned to put it on again!
The ring bounced off of the glass window of the room where the rest of the gadgets were stored in, and then it bounced around the ground. It was small enough to be lost for good, that is, if he or anyone else didn’t look for it, but at this point, he didn’t really care.
He looked at his palm, and saw the third eye disappear, slowly, too slow for his comfort. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
It withered away within two minutes, and the pain accompanying its withering, or rotting, was stronger than he anticipated it to be! It almost felt like he was losing an arm, or a leg, which of course, wasn’t easy on his nerves, or brain.
"Why..." He grunted, "Why the fuck would anyone make that? In what fucking situation can it be... handy? I don’t even think cave divers could put much use to it, those bastards wedge themselves in tight spots so badly that they almost never need to use their hands."
Jimmy was pissed, he was uncomfortable. The pain wouldn’t go away even after the eye rotted, and peeled off of his hand as if it was a crumbling leaf.
The pain, although now halved, followed after him as if he was a land-mine survivor.
"I wanted a landmine..." He lowered his voice, "I don’t know if this is worse than stepping on a landmine. I have my legs... but, the psychological fucking torture has to be head to head with stepping on a landmine... it has to be."
Jimmy’s attention span was usually solid, he could focus on a lot of things at once, but the pain shot his focus down much like he shot that flying lizard down with his semen when he first transmigrated in this world. It was gone, but he tried to work around it.
With two gadgets being absolute duds, useless to him in every way possible, he found it within himself to ignore the pain, and test out the third item on the line. He didn’t know how to fix the phantom pain that came with losing a third eye anyway, and he’d rather not waste even an inkling of the ten percent mana he had on him to try and rid himself of pain, so instead, he tried to pour as much of attention as he could towards the third item. The experimenting must continue!
"Come on..." He took a deep breath, and held it in anticipation, "Give me something good. I don’t want to give this whack-ass bunker up."
The third item seemed simple, and complicated at the same time. It was a ball, or best described as an aluminum orb of sorts. He could tell that he could bend the metal on it if he so much as stepped on it, because it was small, it was smaller than his palm, and it was made of the one type of metal that could easily be bent.
He could not understand the logic behind its design, which was what made it complicated in his eyes.
However, what made it simple was the fact that the orb had a button on it. The button was visible by its outlines, and he could conveniently press it with his thumb, which meant that for once, he wasn’t wasting time on these gadgets, and could get ahead of the experimenting, simply by the availability of the button.
He had to put some pressure on it to press it, but that concluded the effort he had to put in. He could feel the aluminum orb vibrating afterwards, so he had the infinite wisdom to quickly put it down on the ground, and await the results!
