Bro, I'm not an Undead!-Chapter 1642: The Acceleration Incident (3)
Skullius had only ever done this one other time, and even then, it hadn't been because he knew what he was doing.
The original masked man, Actuass, had him pressed within his Majestic Territory and he (Skullius) had been left with very little options. Desperate, Skullius had used Maximum Catalyst's Reversion to revert parts of his body to his original Moronic Undead form, accessing Undeath energy.
(A/N: Refer to Ch.1079.)
What had followed looked a lot like what he and Fulgardt in the present experienced.
The Undeath flowing from Skullius' limb and the Null Life surging through the rest of him caused a queer reaction. They thrummed and called over to the Voided Death Essence surging within Fulgardt.
…!!!
The Immoral was shocked when a dreadful suctional force drew him and Skullius together in compressed time. The Parallel energies within them pulled them into each other, resisting any defensive means that would have forced them apart. Of course, only Fulgardt would have desired to push Skullius away. The Hybrid was keen. He knew what was coming.
Thus, when the two opponents smashed into each other and then spilled through their material and immaterial origins like liquid, Skullius was the one to gain that much more from the experience. He felt his body spade through Fulgardt's body, his soul into Fulgardt's, and into his Broader Existence. It was like passing through a waterfall of warm, cold and moderate sludges with different textures.
When Skullius (as Replicus) had shared this experience with Actuass, he had seen a few of the masked man's memories and sensed his intentions.
The same was true now, if only to an even greater extent. Skullius greedily absorbed all kinds of information about Fulgardt.
But it was a gamble.
Fulgardt, stunned, also drew a lot about Skullius. His eyes behind the Bare Guise quivered.
Flashes of things he already knew about the brat whipped past him: Skullius' life in Somanda's mines; his adventures in a blue Cluster; the Premium Age Royale.
…But then there were things Fulgardt hadn't known about Skullius also: a list of evolutionary options with horrifying powers; the Empyrean Bosom; the War Body's Second Phase; Future Skullius… and Ju`wtte!
'Oh!'
Oh, indeed. Fulgardt could hardly believe he'd just seen through Skullius' trump cards just like that, including the thing about him (Skullius) he was most interested in.
On the other hand…
…!!!
Skullius looked horrorstruck. He'd seen and felt even more from Fulgardt than he'd bargained for. He could hardly process everything at once. The best he could do when he turned to the Immoral was scream:
"ARE YOU INSANE?!"
Fulgardt turned to him, flooded with bliss.
"I thought I told you before, brat," he said calmly yet excitedly. "You know nothing about darkness and light."
Skullius had sensed Fulgardt's intentions and read his memories, so he knew. But it was still appalling to behold still.
The Immoral, while bearing the pressure of Zu'sse through sheer will, spread both his arms outward, and sent torrents of [Evil Darkness] and Voided Death Essence blasting out of him. They took on the shape of gargantuan arms that kept elongating and refining until they poured into the great void.
There were nine of them in total, and each was a product of both Fulgardt's Insurgent Magnus powers… and his Mastered Void Gate Aspect.
'This SOCKETHOLE!' Skullius cried from within. The ninth hand grabbed him and pushed him far from the Immoral and towards Quintess. It was impossible to resist the grip in a short span. Skullius had gleaned what was powering this gigantic arm, and it was as simple as it was overwhelmingly. It was one word: the Mastered Void Gate Aspect, REACH.
The eight hands Fulgardt expelled further grabbed ahold of the great void as though it were some massive cloth. The fingers dug in as best as they could, the Voided Death Essence within them flaring. Stitches made of [Just Light] held them in place, ensuring that they wouldn't slip; indeed, the Melding Stitches.
This was it!
A combination of the Seeds, Seramoro, Melding Stitches, and Delight's Pursuit had made this possible.
…But it wasn't enough.
Fulgardt pulled, but the great void barely budged. It rippled as a calm river would when a small stone fell in.
This feat was spectacle enough for Quintess, Listafelle, Suzamete, Boron, and the Liches to pause and look up.
Fulgardt felt the attention and was galvanized. He went above and beyond.
Seramoro Oblivion's Edge X Melding Stitches X Delight's Pursuit X Limitless Paradox X Master Cataract X Exorbitance X Crude World Projection X Crude World Injection!
A Projection of Fulgardt flitted out of his body and clawed in the direction of the dark arms, empowering the [Evil Darkness] that made them. His will, injected through his physical body (via Crude World Injection) kept all active abilities at 100% output while Master Cataract and Exorbitance reinforced the simple action all eight arms were attempting.
…And speaking of simple actions, Limitless Paradox contributed the most to Fulgardt's endeavor. In but a single second, he succeeded in pulling off something that had never been done since the dawn of Divines!
AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
A horrible scream blared across Reality.
It was feminine.
It was agony.
It was… passion.
Fulgardt roared in his own passion as he made the final pull. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
His eight hands pulled on Void's body… and tore off an irregular chunk from it!
SQUELCHHHH!
…
Aigas was immediately bathed in complete darkness, masking the flabbergasted expressions of Deities, Liches and Parallels. None could fathom what they were looking at nor what purpose it even served.
…But the spectacle was far from over.
Skullius had an inkling of Fulgardt's goals, but even he only grew to understand them a little more after a blast of intense light swallowed the darkness and penetrated straight through the giant hand holding him down.
It was pretty, golden and pristine and unlike any other ever seen in this Reality. It speared through all entities – time, space, flesh, soul, law, Divinity, Direction – travelled faster than anything known or unknown, and touched all bounds of existence. It poured from the single hole made in Void's body, pulsating in rhythm with her scream.
As profound as it was, however, it had a source. An insignificant fraction of an impossibly gargantuan sun could be seen by those with the right eyes, peeking from the hole in Void.
Fulgardt had known Void's little secret. She'd shared it with him, in fact, much to his surprise.
Could she have anticipated that Fulgardt would use it against her?
Who knew?
All that was clear in that moment, was Fulgardt's glee.
He could see the sun – the Absolute Sun – clearly with eyes that gleamed with [Just Light].
How had Void dared to hide the Wanderer's beautiful gem for so long?
How could she have hidden something so precious? What right did she possibly have – what claim?
None.
Fulgardt delighted in the light.
So much so that he could only cry at the top of his lungs:
"PRAISE THE SUN!"
