Bro, I'm not an Undead!-Chapter 1643: The Acceleration Incident (4)
Void, Serenity, and Emmae and the Primeval Deities learned to comprehend the |Greater Cosmic Law| in some capacity, and that allowed them to develop their current powers.
However, this was by no means a feat accomplished by natural talent or ingenuity.
No mortal beings – especially those of the modern times – were capable of comprehending the mess of power that was the Cosmic Law. To do that, the Cosmic Law itself was required.
The denizens of the first world created within this Reality had the Absolute Sun on their side – Litte. This aspect of the |Greater Cosmic Law| was the same one used to derive the Insurgent Magnus' [Just Light], if only far more versatile and powerful.
Its principal quality was acceleration. It accelerated living beings and concepts down to the fundamental level: for living beings, it worked on their most intrinsic qualities, and for concepts, it accelerated them in general. Indeed, the Litte worked against other aspects of the |Greater Cosmic Law| as well. It accelerated life and death (Immors); the Fallen Shadow (Heide); space and distance (Eklhesh); time (Conste).
The beings that existed on the first world in this Reality grew used to the Absolute Sun – to its ever-present graces – and harnessed it to accelerate their intelligence to the point where they could comprehend complicated, abstract forces of nature. Hence, the Existential Parallels and the Primeval Deities were born.
Perhaps this monumental event was occurring once again in this Reality – beginning with Aigas.
…
As the Absolute Sun's radiance bathed everything on the Rich world – Stagnant Space, Clusters, and even unique enclosed spaces – it entranced most of the mortals who felt it gush through them. It sprang through time after all, going far back into history. But only those thriving in the present were relevant.
Fulgardt, Skullius, Boron, Quintess, Listafelle, Somanda, Luserus, Suzamete, Soizar and Souran experienced the blast of Litte differently.
The hole in Void's body began to heal as she forced Fulgardt's arms away. She would seal away the Absolute Sun again in 0,004 seconds.
…But that was enough for the monstrous experts on Aigas and across Reality to take advantage of the acceleration.
Fulgardt was dazed. Behind his Bare Guise, his mouth was agape, his tongue sticking out as though to lick the light. The Litte accelerated his profound mind 2,000,000,000,0000,000 times, along with the activity in his body, soul and Broader Existence. Instead of wasting the rare opportunity – which he was sure he wouldn't be able to replicate again – he focused all this processing power into a single idea.
'That lightning. That flexible lightning. Ju`wtte…' thought the Immoral.
He was thoroughly interested in the way Skullius used it.
But Speaking of the Hybrid Warmoth, he too was blessed by the Litte.
…But it worked in his favor a lot more than it did for Fulgardt.
Earlier, Serenity had been pleased that Skullius had finally developed a power that would help him comprehend the |Greater Cosmic Law|: the Pseudo-Void rank Exotic Parlous Nature known as Maximum Jaqquezjaqqz.
As it happened, Maximum Jaqquezjaqqz drew on the Litte's effect and tripled it within Skullius – body, soul and Broader Existence!
The guidance field announced the merits!
['Maximum Jaqquezjaqqz' senses an aspect of the |Greater Cosmic Law|]
[Processing…]
['Maximum Jaqquezjaqqz' is accelerating the proceeds from the target aspect of the |Greater Cosmic Law|']
[…]
Skullius, dazed like Fulgardt, involuntarily sucked in a deep breath.
Ideas that were beyond him whipped through his head: the most efficient way to utilize Focused Null Life Ota; a hidden way to use his new Apostle; the true power of the racial properties of the War Body…
Everything smashed into him all at once.
For the Liches, Litte threaded through both their physical and intangible beings, as well as the Undeath that sustained them. It accelerated both. It even touched their Death Knights and Doom Knights.
Naturally, Somanda reaped the greatest benefit. His real body might have been leagues away in Deadmanland (a place where the Litte didn't touch) but he too was dazedly warped into evolution.
Quintess, Boron, Listafelle and Suzamete were caught in a similar web, but Boron rose above them all. The light couldn't have caught him at a better time. As he too was dazed, he couldn't help but rejoice in his decision to use Higher Fundamental Barter when he did, after all, his path for the future was swiftly opened wide.
There was one other individual who drew from Litte, but his proceeds weren't as impressive as those of the rest.
It mattered not.
Soon, the bright light of Litte was enveloped by Void and sealed once again.
Aigas was cast back into the light afforded by the canvas of its construction, but the players in its endgame remained stun-locked. This didn't last for long, however.
Fulgardt returned to his senses. His brain cells were racing unfathomably fast. His body temporarily disregarded Quintess' Zu'sse.
'I have so much to try out!' he thought.
Skullius too was restored to normal sense. The first thing he did was cross his middle and ring fingers.
ZWOOOP!
Amras flared in a brilliant, rising tower, and he was back in the First Phase of the War Body. The timer had reset. He had to wait five minutes before accessing full power.
'I know even more of your secrets now, Fulgardt,' he thought before issuing a command to Weaver. 'I'm ready. I need my next Apostle.'
Souran and Soizar must have become mad. Their massive pools of Undeath were raging all over their ships. It was only to be expected. The combined effect of Litte on all their Death Knights and Doom Knights ricocheted back to them as well!
Meanwhile, Somanda… wasn't quite as enthusiastic. While inhabiting SoSei, he frowned with his burning face and spared a glance at Fulgardt.
'To think he really did know about the Litte. Unprecedented,' he thought and then considered Skullius. 'And you as well. You've finally reached my playing field, I see. All because I didn't extinguish you when I had the chance.'
And indeed, a chain of events was triggered as a result.
It spanned all over Reality, affecting even those who stood at the very summit – the Primeval Deities.
