As soon as Shiana is free of her binds, the very first thing she does is get back on her feet and walk up to Amon before sitting on his lap.

She then turns her head to look at Danial, giving him a mocking smile. Indicating to him that she was right all along, and that he is making a huge mistake by doing this.

"I know, come here," Amon says, putting his hand on the side of her face and pulling her in for a kiss right in front of Danial.

Amon locks his lips with Shiana and shoves his tongue into her mouth as they engage is a messy, saliva-filled, sloppy kiss, without giving a shit about anyone else present in the room.

Amon also doesn't shy away from being handsy with Shiana, putting his other hand on her breast and groping it.

Danial sees this and seethes with anger. He clenches his jaws and hands very tightly, his fingers dig into his own palm, causing skin puncture, and blood starts flowing out.

He sits there, burning with anger, unable to utter a word because of how absurd and humiliating this is for him.

Danial freezes in his spot as he meets Amon's gaze. He sees the look in Amon's eyes. He feels like a lamb frozen in fear as a big grey wolf slowly prowls towards him to sink its teeth into him.

Danial's heart is racing; he feels extremely scared.

"Do you know why those men behind you suddenly turned on you, even though they have a reputation of being very professional?" Amon asks.

Hearing Amon's words, Danial turns his head to look at the mercenaries standing behind him. He, too, is wondering why a mercenary company that has built a very solid reputation in the underworld for being as professional as one can get suddenly violates everything that they are known for.

Danial turns back to face Amon again for an answer.

"Well... because... I own them," Amon answers.

"What do you mean by you own them?" Danial asks, confused.

"The company itself... I own it. Every mercenary working for the company is my employee," Amon says, grinning.

Even the mercenaries are stunned by the reveal, because till now they knew nothing about who or what Amon is; the man was just too scary for them to deal with.

Never had anyone terrified them so much with just his words and actions, and now he goes on to reveal that he is actually their boss.

They tried kidnapping their own boss? The mercenaries start sweating.

'What have we done?' It is the only thought running in their heads right now. They all believe they fucked up big. Not only did they go after a very dangerous and scary man, but they also went after their very boss. How can they be so stupid, and who was the idiot who assigned them this task?

"Bullshit! If you were the boss, they would have never accepted my request to begin with! You are just bluffing!" Danial says.

The mercenaries also realize that Danial might be speaking the truth. If Amon is really their boss, why would they accept the mission in the first place?

Is Amon lying to sound powerful? Is he just a fraud, and they fell for his amazing acting skills? But what about their leader, Dan? He knew his name; he also knew what was happening in Dan's life. Surely that all isn't made up right?

"Whoa, what do we have here? An intellectual," Amon says, mocking Danial.

Danial doesn't like the tone Amon uses, but he also feels helpless.

"Well, to be fair, I am only their boss since this morning," Amon says with a grin.

"Don't bullshit me more! I have had enough of this!" Danial shouts, getting up from his chair again. He can't stand this game Amon is playing any longer.

"Shut the fuck up and sit down, or I am going to sew those lips of yours closed for good," Amon says as that happy smiling face is replaced with a cold, serious one.

Danial suddenly feels a chill run down his spine as he meets Amon's serious gaze. An overwhelming terror creeps up inside him. He feels as if he is standing before an apex predator who is about to sink its jaws into him.

His arms and legs start shaking from fear, and he slowly settles down on his chair again. Even the goons and mercenaries in the room felt how intense it got for a second there.

They could literally feel the room's temperature when Amon got serious. Now they just hope that Danial keeps his tone low and does not anger Amon again.

"See, it's not that hard to keep your mouth shut," Amon says as his smile returns. "So where was I... Ah, yes, I was saying how I took ownership of the company. Let me tell you, it was quite a lot of money, but then again, money is just dirt to someone like me. I can throw however much I want at anyone," Amon explains.

"You are saying you just bought the company?" Danial asks.

"Yes, it was quite an expensive buy, 77 billion dollars. Well, it's only expensive to a plebeian like you. To me, it's dirt. Danial, you and I aren't on the same level.

I am too rich and too powerful for someone like you to even figure out who I truly am, but you are nothing but a son to a politician slash gang leader who is trying to bite more than he can chew.

And now you have gone and made the biggest mistake of your life. You have gone and made your father someone I am now aware of. And the only people I am aware of are my servants, a few acquaintances, or someone annoying who needs to be taken care of.

So tell me, Danial, what do you think your father is in my eyes? A servant or an annoying existence?" Amon asks Danial with dead serious eyes.

As Danial processes what Amon just said, his face becomes extremely pale, hearing Amon call his father an annoying existence. His father was someone Amon didn't even no existed, so there was no problem, but now Danial has made it so that his father is now under Amon's eyes, and the way Amon speaks about him, he is nothing but a small annoyance that should be taken care of.

Danial starts shivering as he finally comes to the realization that he fucked up big time.

Even the goons that are with him realize that they got themselves involved in something they shouldn't have.

Now they want to find the man who suggested them to help Danial so that they could earn favors from the big boss.

But now, from the sounds of it, even the big boss is in trouble just because his son couldn't get some girl out of his mind.

Danial sits there, terrified as to what he just did, when suddenly his phone starts ringing.
