Chapter 215: Chapter 215: Psycho Materials

Leonard pulled the curtain to the side and revealed a shelf full of different materials inside.

"Standard uniform must adhere to the Institute’s rules. So no Psycho-Enhancing or Psycho-Concealment capabilities. You must also wear white and red. White as the primary color and red as the secondary."

Leonard took a few fabric down from the shelves.

"No enhancing or concealment. But you can still use defensive Psycho Materials. This is Phrenseider. The best of the line. It could defend your mind from other Psycho Forces. It won’t be as effective as a full battle suit but if you are attacked, you won’t be completely vulnerable."

The fabric has faint silver lines. They glowed like silver beneath the material.

"There are other materials that you could consider. Polywolle, this one is weaker in dealing with Psycho Force but is much more durable physically. It can resist wear and tear, stab and cut very well. If you are the physical-enhancement kind, this one would be better for you."

Leonard took another down the shelf. Polywolle had much bigger fiber than Phrenseider that was visible to the eyes. The tailor stretched and tore the fabric but it was unscathed. He even took a pair of scissors and cut it. There wasn’t even a scratch on it.

"Woah!" The shorty tiptoed to look at the material. "How do you even work on that?"

"By using a unique alloy called Phrenister. This thing is very expensive and can cut through Polywolle." Leonard showed them a unique pair of scissors. The blade of the scissors was coated in some type of purple metal.

"Wouldn’t everyone just use Phrenister then? To get through Polywolle?" Selina said.

"You’re correct. But not everyone has Phrenister. I have to mention again that these uniforms are not a battle suits. Battle suits would use much different materials." Leonard said.

"This is the last material that I suggest. It’s called Psikalic. This thing is not as durable as Polywolle and can’t protect you from Psycho Force. But it is an extremely good energy neutralizer. Hot, cold, plasma, some forms of realized Psionics would be blocked by the Psikalic. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

You can think of it this way.

Phrenseider is to protect your mind.

Polywolle is to protect your body.

Psikalic is to protect you from energy attacks."

"What are the prices of these fabrics?" Selina said.

Leonard took a look at her from top to bottom. He was measuring her body.

"If we take you as an example. You’d need around 3 to 3.5 meters of fabric. If we really going fancy and add jackets or some kind of drape, it would be around 4 meters of fabric.

Phrenseider is sold for 3,000 credits per meter.

Polywolle is 5,000 credits per meter.

Psikalic depends on which type you choose but it ranges around 2,000 credits to around 8,000 credits."

Becky shuddered when she heard about the price. "Why is Psikalic so expensive?"

"Some Psikalics are designed to completely nullify a certain power. Let’s just say a Psychic can use Fire Psionic. A Fire-Resistant Psikalic will make the fight much easier." Leonard said.

"I see." Becky frowned. "Can’t we do a combination?"

"You certainly can. If you have the credits."

The black cat stroked its whiskers. Its Octagram Chaos Eyes had already scanned all the materials inside the place. These materials were actually very special. Each could assist Selina in a certain aspect.

The standard uniform was what Selina would be wearing most of the times. Mater wanted her to be ready in case of a surprise attack. He wouldn’t always be around to help her.

"Take them all. Ask him to make a blend for the standard uniform." The black cat meowed.

Selina turned to Leonard. "Can I take them all? I want a blend of everything."

Leonard widened his eyes. "Everything?

A blend of all the materials I have would be 20,000 credits."

"For all the material?" Becky said.

"Per meter." Leonard shook his head.

Becky stuck her tongue out in response. That was way too much money that she could afford.

"Deal." Selina said.

Becky was appalled. "No deal! I don’t have that much money."

"Just pay for the shorty." The black cat yawned.

Selina smiled, "Mr. Mater told me we can pay for you."

"I can help as well." Loretta said. "I can pay half while Selina takes care the other half."

Becky shook her head repeatedly. "That is too much. 4 meters would be 80,000 credits. I don’t even know how I can pay that back."

"Ummm... You would probably need around 3 meters of material." Leonard said.

Becky shot a dangerous glance at him. The tailor turned his head away and whistled. He knew too well the obsession of women about their height.

"You can pay for how much you can pay. Then we will take care of the rest. Afterwards, you can pay us back when you have some. How does that sound?"

Selina caught the small brat and rubbed her head full of hair.

Becky struggled but couldn’t get out of her arms.

"Alright! Alright! Jeez! You’re too persistent."

The black cat licked its paw while watching everything. They were officially rich a few days ago. A few millions of credits would just be wasted anyhow. Becky would become Selina’s teammate in the future so investing in her wasn’t a pointless venture.

Leonard then asked them about the design and took the overall measurements of the three girls. He also took another 20,000 credits for the craftsmanship.

Since the three girls ordered together, he lowered the total 60,000 credits to 50,000 credits. Then the material fee was 220,000 credits in total. The total cost of the standard uniforms of the three girls was 270,000 credits.

Loretta paid for her own, which was around 96,000 credits. The same amount of Selina’s uniform.

Becky could only pay around 50,000 credits. Selina and Loretta helped her pay the remaining amount.

Selina wasted around 109,000 credits for the standard uniform and Becky’s part.

The ceremonial uniform was similar. But there was no longer any restriction to enhancing or concealment capability.
