Henry was smiling widely, it was only a matter of time before he truly attained sonic speed
"Just a few more kills away from level 10."he said with excitement
"Crap! Almost forgot that I had beast cores to trade." he chuckled
"Alright convert all beast cores to shop points," Henry declared and immediately, the usual messages appeared

Henry grinned, he had now piled up a good amount of shop points. He entered the shop confidently in search for a particular thing, after glancing around for a while, he found it.

Henry sighed "How I’m i supposed to know the quality of the goods i want to purchase? This thing doesn’t show any stat or skills." he complained
"This is even too expensive, and it’s not even the original price. I’ll just check out some other thing, i should be able to get one that prevents friction and is cheap,"
"Honestly i shouldn’t have blown up that suit i had for free, i bet it could prevent the resistance, but it’ll slow me down anyways." he muttered, and thought long and hard and after a while his face lit up.
"Wait a minute, if the original price is 1.5 million points, that means it’s not an ordinary suit, it might be one of those special rare grade that possessed skills and gave incredible stats," he stated, remembering the visor, Alicia had given him.
"Besides i have a 90 percent discount card, it’s perfect. But this is going to be a gamble, what if it’s just a normal suit that doesn’t have any skills or good stat." Henry pondered, holding his chin
"But also, what I’m looking for now is something to block out the friction. Since it’s a rare grade wear, it’s should be able to do that."
"Sigh* Fine! I’ll buy the suit." Henry concluded, after weighing the pros and cons, and the system popped up with a prompt

Henry wasn’t that excited when he saw the message, he had calculated the price in his mind already "Confirm purchase." he said

Henry quickly went to the inventory and checked his new merch, he focused his intent on the item and it displayed information on the suit.
*Nitro Suit(Rare):
[Description: A exosuit made of high grade silica fabric and advanced kevlar, that is designed to resist high temperature, increase stamina and improve user’s speed.
Stats: +50 Agility, +20 Stamina, +10 Defense, +200% Speed Rate.
Skills:
-Speed boost: Increases speed rate(including the original suit added speed) by 100% for 5 seconds(60-second cooldown)
-Energy shield: The Nitro Suit features an integrated energy shield, which absorbs a set amount of damage before depleting(10-second cooldown)

Passive Skills:
-Speed Energy Charge: A massive amount of energy that is accumulated in the suit as user runs. Energy percentage would be notified through the system, which then enables the user to activate the energy shield and when the energy meter is fully charged, can deliver the energy burst.

-Aerodynamics: The suit’s form-fitting design and articulation allows user to maintain control of every step and movement that is taken. This allows user to dodge attacks well without reducing speed and enables perfect flow of speed while running. It also reduces air resistance.
-Temperature resistance: With the advanced tri-polymer imbued with the suit, it is resistant to several degrees of intense heat, whether around user or through the frictional force generated when running.

"Hahaha!" Henry burst out laughing, he was incredibly excited
"My luck has struck again! This suit is too perfect, it has everything i need. It blocks the resistance and gives my speed rate and agility a massive boost, even my stamina as well." he smirked
"With this, i can run at mach 3 and don’t worry about burning up, the skills are so perfect as well. I was thinking of buying the shield skill before but now i don’t need to," Henry said joyfully
"Now, this is officially the best item yet, but I don’t need the calorie rate stuff just yet. Miley said i could run without losing any stamina, which means i can keep running for hours or even days." he muttered with a large grin. His stamina indeed never reduced while he ran, neither did he burn any calories, little did he know it was still coming for him.
"Alright, now that my points have dropped incredibly, i need to begin a nonstop grinding session. But good thing i still have that 500,000 credits that mother gave me, perhaps I should ask for more?" he thought
"Nah, not yet. I want to look like the decent little boy she knows and maybe will eventually trust," he made up his mind, a mischievous smile drawn on his face.
"Hmm, it’s been long I’ve been to the park, i should go there tomorrow and see how much my strength has improved." Henry muttered to himself, before slowly falling asleep.
The next morning came quickly and as Henry had planned, he put on a track suit and jogged to the usual park he and Xavier would ’normally’ work out.
He received his daily quest reward which now put him in the 550km/hr rate. Henry smiled and walked over to a 5ft tall boulder, he stared at it for a second before hitting it with his fist.
But nothing happened, he frowned and hit it again and nothing happened again. He gritted his teeth and kept hitting the poor rock and eventually after punching it 5 more times, it cracked.
Henry sighed "Looks like I’m not as strong as Xavier yet, what I’m i even thinking? I’m not even as strong as Alicia yet, and Xavier is definitely stronger," he muttered
"Oh well, it’s just a matter of time." Henry stated before heading into the words to do a series of other work outs, including building one of those Xavier nature’s weight and lifting them a few times before getting tired.
Then he practiced his sword fighting some more, hitting and striking against the air and unlucky plants.
After four hours of intense training, Henry decided to head back to the hotel and freshen up a bit before exploring the city.
He was about to leave the park when an eerie wind blew across the entire area, but that wasn’t all.
The ground began to shake violently and rumble, Henry frowned as his senses could feel that something was going to happen in that area.
He began to leave, wanting to leave the park immediately and not get involved in whatever was going to occur. But as he took a step, the spot where he was standing cracked and divided, like an earthquake and it just kept spreading.
But before he could fall, Henry quickly dashed away from the area, now standing in an area surrounded by trees, it looked like the quakes didn’t affect this place.
He was about to activate dash and get out of the park, when a mysterious light suddenly flashed in front of him. And the light kept expanding and increasing, forming a large circular hole in the atmosphere, one that looked like a circle doorway.
He stared at the hole curiously, he couldn’t see what was on the other side as the space was just a bright blue light that hindered his vision a bit.
Henry moved closer to the space that had appeared out of nowhere, it was now 20 meters in diameter, and it was still expanding. And it was somehow generating heavy wind across the area, blowing away leaves and even rocks.
But Henry kept advancing, pushing through the light and wind, until he was 5 meters away from it. All of a sudden, the light dimmed and the wind stopped, he could now see the hole clearly and he immediately knew what it was. This large hole was a portal, a doorway for galactic beasts to enter their planet.
Henry contemplated on what to do, he had heard of how rare this portals were and the beast that emerge from it are usually powerful. And plus the crystals they possessed, were very expensive resource in the world today.
He kept looking at the hole curiously, he took out his sword and readied himself for whatever monstrosity would appear from the portal. He kept waiting and waiting but nothing appeared from the portal, which was a strange thing as beasts would normally emerge immediately the portal was fully formed.
Henry was still anticipating the arrival of the beast that would grace him with his presence, he even hoped in his heart that it was a low ranked beast, because any galactic beast from C-Rank and above were considered a group mission and sometimes with the A-Rank, declared a global threat.
It was a bit easy to determine the beast rank before it emerged, through the size of the portal. This was because B-Rank beasts and above were usually very huge and tall.
This portal was only 30 meters wide so it shouldn’t allow a beast higher than C rank, but even sometimes, size didn’t matter. A 10 meter portal could produce a B-Rank beast.
Henry was still patient, it had been 10 minutes since the portal stabled and yet nothing had appeared from it. He even contemplated on hiding by a nearby tree to take the beast by suprise. But before he could think of anything, a bright light of energy emerged through the portal and hit Henry.
The collision sent him flying backwards, he hit his back on a tree and slid down. He hadn’t seen anything at all, just that he was standing there and the next, he was laying here.

The system notified him, and he grunted. He quickly stood up on his feet and observed the portal. His eyes gazed down to his body as he felt a heat like sensation, and to his suprise, the track suit jacket along with the inner shirt were burnt off and his skin was black.
"What the... How?" he muttered, but he suddenly saw a flash of blue light pass by him. It pass too quickly for him to see anything else.
"Shit! The beast must be here already. And i think it’s a beast with the speed ability." he pointed out, and as if confirming his suspicions, the portal closed.
