Amy was roused from her slumber by unfamiliar voices and a sensation of light-headedness. Remembering the incident before she lost consciousness and not recognizing the voices, she decided to not open her eyes yet, pretending to be asleep.

She remembered someone covered her mouth and nose with a damp cloth and catching a glimpse of approximately four men before dozing off.

The man next to Amy inquired, "Are you absolutely certain you have no interest in doing anything with this woman? She is undeniably attractive. Are you not captivated by her?"

"Do not lay a finger on her, you jerk... at least for now. Our priority is to reach the safe house and ensure that everything is recorded. She must at least experience what my love experienced in the hands of that Henry Welsh," cautioned the other man, expressing his strong desire for revenge. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

"It infuriates me that she survived that plane crash. Before I kill her, the least I can do is give her husband a little present, don’t you think?" the man added.

"Just to clarify, you will proceed ahead of us, correct?" inquired the man seated beside Amy.

"Yes, that’s the plan, and we’ll make sure to record it for Henry’s viewing pleasure," they all chuckled in unison, a laughter that sent Amy’s heart racing, more than it already is.

With her hands bound behind her back, Amy tried to recall every detail of her past self-defense training from her brother and Rei. She cautiously attempted to wiggle her hands, hoping to assess the type of material used to secure her wrists.

To her surprise, Amy felt a sense of relief and even a touch of delight when she discovered that her captors had used a zip-tie to secure her wrists. It was a type of restraint she had already practiced escaping from during her self-defense training, giving her a glimmer of hope that she might be able to free her hands.

In a stroke of luck, Amy realized that her kidnappers had not taken off her jewelry. Following the plane crash, Rei and Ava had modified many of her accessories, incorporating hidden features and tools.

Among them was a ring with a concealed blade, a resource she had contemplated using in situations precisely like this. It made her determination to fight back these men so much stronger.

The self-defense training that her father and brother had once forced her to undergo suddenly made perfect sense to Amy. In this dire moment, she felt a deep appreciation for their insistence, realizing that their teachings were now invaluable.

Even though they are no longer with her, it felt as though they were by her side, their guidance and support helping her muster the strength and courage needed to overcome the present dangerous situation.

Now Amy chose to make her father and brother proud. She would harness all the skills they had imparted to her and utilize them to secure her own safety.

She will make sure to return to Henry unharmed, proving that she was not a helpless damsel in distress but a capable hero in her own right. In this terrifying moment, she embraced the role of her own savior, recognizing the urgent need to rescue herself from the clutches of danger.

Amy breathe in and out slowly to calm her nerves first. She then carefully triggered the hidden blade on her ring, discreetly sliding it out just enough to reach the zip-tie.

With full conviction, she began to slowly and deliberately cut through the tie being mindful not to stir suspicion from the men beside her. Each movement was calculated, ensuring that her actions remained undetected while she steadily worked towards her escape.

After making multiple cuts, Amy finally succeeded in cutting through the zip-tie. She quietly held onto the severed tie, maintaining her composure and carefully listening to her surroundings.

The sounds of passing cars and intermittent stops suggested that they were still on a road, likely in a populated area with frequent traffic lights. Amy took note of these details, understanding that her chances of being noticed or getting help might decrease once they reached a less public location.

As the car began to navigate a curve, Amy recognized this as the perfect time to escape. With the driver preoccupied checking two directions at once, she would only have to deal with three of the men.

Taking advantage of the element of surprise, Amy swiftly elbowed with full force the man to her right in the stomach, causing him to recoil.

Without hesitation, she grabbed the head of the man to her left and forcefully smashed it against the window, stunning him.

Amy’s movements were so fast and confident that the man seated in the front passenger seat had little time to react. Taking advantage of his brief astonishment, she forcefully rammed his head into the car’s dashboard, dazing him momentarily.

As the driver looked at her in confusion, desperately trying to maintain control of the car, Amy swiftly seized the opportunity. With a quick-thinking maneuver, she decided to use the driver’s own seat belt to strangle him.

Startled by the unexpected attack, the driver instinctively let go of the steering wheel in a desperate attempt to remove the seat belt wrapped around his neck. The car wobbled and swayed on the road, its direction becoming unstable due to the driver’s disoriented state.

The sudden movement and lack of control added another layer of chaos to the already tense situation inside the vehicle. The man on Amy’s right managed to recover from the previous blow and grabbed her hair, forcing her to release her hold on the driver’s seat belt.

She used her newly manicured long pink fingernails that has rhinestones glued onto it to claw at the face of the man positioned behind her. Her sharp nails left deep scratches on his skin, but she didn’t stop there. Without hesitation, she swiftly directed her fingers towards his eyes, forcefully pressing into them.

The excruciating pain caused the man to release his grip on her hair, unleashing a piercing scream that echoed through the vehicle. Amy’s actions demonstrated her resolve to fight back and protect herself at all costs. She will not allow these men to hurt her and she will go home to Henry in one piece.
