Cultivation Daddy-Chapter 117 - 116: Strangers in the Secret Realm (2)
After Li Cheng and Li Yuhan finish their homework, they put their things away and ran to the storage room.
"Wait, aren’t you going to tell father that we’re going in the Secret Realm?" Li Cheng paused and asked
Li Yuhan thought about it for a bit and shook his head: "Dad already knows, and he’s busy making smoothies with the others. We shouldn’t disturb him."
"Just so you know, if he gets angry later, it’s all on you."
"Stop being salty. Dad trusts us to be responsible. Besides, it’s not a big deal, we’re just going for a bit. Come on! Let’s not waste any more time!" Li Yuhan smile and stepped into the formation, ready to take off.
"Did you take exit talisman with you?" Li Cheng saw Li Yuhan was empty and asked puzzlingly.
"Oh, I almost forgot..." Li Yuhan laugh as he quickly stepped out of the formation that was about to activate.
Without the exit talisman, he’ll be stuck in there with no way to come out. Yet this guy actually forgot such an important thing.
"Idiot," Li Cheng murmur under his breath.
"What did you say?" Li Yuhan turned and looked at him suspiciously.
Li Cheng rolled his eyes: "Nothing, just hurry up. We need to be back before sunset."
After making sure that all of their supplies were in order, they stepped back into the formation, and were transported into the secret realm after it was activated.

Li Yuhan look up and saw the bold number one, glowing brilliantly above him. His face changed color so many times before he finally sighed helplessly .
How many times, has he been to this level??? Every single time in entered the secret realm, it always makes him start at level one.
"Why is it always level one?" He complained, kicking a loose stone that skittered across the ground.
He and Li Cheng didn’t land to the same place, which is understandable. But he was really fed up with this!
Li Yujian has reach to the Ninth floor so many times, he had only reached the seventh floor. The thing about this is that, even if you’re repeating floors, the challenges change every time.
If only he can be transported to the fourth or third floor, he believes he’ll have a chance to reach the eighth or ninth floor
Li Yuhan look at his surroundings and frown. Something seems off but he couldn’t put his hands on it. The scenery was familiar and there wasn’t any sense of danger but he still feels like something was off.
He didn’t have much time to waste so he walked quickly to the challenge area.
Three figures emerge from the tree shadows. All three of them were dressed in similar robes. From one look, you could tell that they were either from the same school or same sect.
"You guys saw that right?" One of them asked with a frown.
"Yeah, he just appeared out of tin air." Another replied with a hint of disbelief.
"He’s not from the top ten of the three Academies that were sent in. At least, I do not remember seeing him." Another one shrugged
Li Yuhan eyes narrowed instinctively as he crouch behind a nearby tree.
He didn’t really leave before, as soon as the three figures emerge from the shadows, he hide behind a nearby tree and watch their moments.
Who are they? Where are they from? He needed to gather more information.
"Could there really be other here apart from those of us that were sent in?..."
"That can’t be right, we’ve been on this floor for two days, and haven’t seen anyone. The others have already advanced to the next floor.
They continued to discuss but Li Yuhan couldn’t risk being spotted.
He glanced around , seeking a better vantage. He had no idea what dangers lurked. Maybe he should distance himself, find a way to advance to the second floor quickly.
Father said before that this secret realm shouldn’t be open outside. But from what Li Yuhan heard about secret realms, they appear and disappeared randomly.
"If there are others, we need to alert the seniors." The first figure said firmly.
"Should we send a message now?!" Another one asked
"Yes, why not? We don’t know how long it’ll take for the message to reach."
After saying that, they released something similar to a firework. The bright street lit up the sky, bursting into a brilliant array of colors.
Li Yuhan didn’t know what was going on. He admiring the pretty colors when he stepped into a formation.
The moment he entered, a spiritual pressure formation activated. A rush of energy fell on him distorting his vision. Li Yuhan frown, why does it have to be the pressure formation?
He had done it twice, and although completed it each time, he really hates this feeling of suppression.
Li Yuhan circulate his cultivation technique and tried to visualize the flow of energy around him. With each step, the pressure intensifies.
He has to reach the other side of the formation to clean the stage.
"Come on, stay focused. Just a little longer." He reminded himself.
He pushed through the weight of the pressure. Just as he reach the end, a sudden roar echoed through the forest.
"Oh come on..."
He didn’t expect to step into another stage just after completing one. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
One this floor, one has to complete three stages to advance and those stages are completely random.
He stare ahead and saw that it was a Golden Sun Lion!!!
The Golden Sun Lion stood majestic and imposingly. Its golden fur was like molten metal. It’s eyes locked on him with intensity that sent a shiver down his spine.
When he look closer, he was shocked to find out that it was a level 3 beast.
"Level 3 beast on the first floor, are you kidding me?!!!"
Li Yuhan frown, this wasn’t just about the beast, but then again....
His eyes widened. Could it be because of those guys that he met? They must have disturbed the ream’s balance, rousing creatures far beyond what should’ve been allowed in low trail.
"Well, since the level 3 beast is already here, I don’t have to go to the six floor to find it."
He took out his jade fan he got as a reward from the six level the first time.
Li Yuhan has a wind spirit root and fighting against a beast with gold elements was disadvantageous for him.
Luckily, his father is awesome and has taught him many attacks and defense techniques.
With a deep breath, Li Yuhan gripped the jade fan is tightly.
"Alright, here we go." He muttered under his breath, Channing a gust of wind through the fan.
The winda spiraled out, coiling around him and forming a protective barrier.
He dash forward, summoning a fiery gust of wind to distract it. The fan fluttered in his grip as he executed a swift motion, sending a blade of wind slicing toward the lion’s flank.
The Golden Sun Lion twisted with a shark, its massive paws struck the ground, kicking up the dirt and leaves as it lunged forward.
Li Yuhan’s heart raced; he had only seconds to react. He spun to the side, using his force to redirect the blade of wind toward the path of its charge. The air crackled as the attack met its mark, temporarily stunning the beast.
"Now’s my chance!" Li Yuhan shouted, weaving through the trees to gain a better position.
He summoned another gust, this one aimed directly at the lion’s face and successfully obscure its vision.
The Golden Sun Lion roared in frustration, its eyes narrowing as it tried to shake off the disorienting winds.
The beast, blinded by the gusts, lunged wildly, swiping at empty air. With a quick flick of his wrist, Li Yuhan unleashed another blade of wind, slicing through the fog of golden fur. "Yes! Take that!"
But the Golden Sun Lion wasn’t just for show, just like its name, it was very tough. Since it was being continuously blinded by it’s opponent, it give up on sight. It use its claws to dig two big holes in its eyes.
Li Yuhan breath hitched as he watched the lion’s moves. Blood poured from it’s eyes sockets. He was so shocked that he forgot to move.
...
Without its sight, the beast only focus on it’s instinct and sense of smell. It has begun to sniff the air aggressively. Li Yuhan saw two bloody eyes staring at him.
He shook his head to clear the fog of shock, forcing himself to relax. No one was around to help him, he can only depend on himself! Every muscle in his tiny body screamed for him to move but he was having difficulties.
It’s the first time he’d seen a creature being so cruel to itself! As the lion head swung toward him, he knew he had to act fast.
The lion was faster than before. No matter where he runs, it was always on his tails. With one careless move, he was swapped to the ground, the force of the lion’s strike send shockwaves through his body.
As soon as he fell to the ground, the lion came chasing again! He grit his teeth and rolled to the side just in time. A massive claws narrowly missed him, tearing through the earth where he had just laid.
Li Yuhan ignored the pain and quickly scrambled to his feet.
The lion’s instincts were sharp, but its rage clouded it’s judgement. If he doesn’t act now, he might get killed her!
He active his ultimate techniques, not caring whether it cost too much spiritual energy or the consequences.
"Whirling Storm Prison!" He shouted as the wind around him began to swirl violently, gathered power he had never channeled before.
The wind form a spinning tornado that encircled the Golden Sun Lion.
The lion roared furiously, thanks to all the earthy smell, the lion lost track of Li Yuhan scent and was like a headless fly.
Li Yuhan took the opportunity to perform his Sky Cleaving Wind technique. A massive blade wind slash shot out of the tornado, cutting through the lion’s skin.
He did that repeatedly as the beast howled in agony.
Not until the beast was slash into pieces did he relaxed and passed out.
Li Jain scratch his head and sighed; his little ones are really worrying...
