Damned Healer-Chapter 447: Good Seed
Going back a bit in time.
Exactly three days after Darian and the others left for the Trial, the entire planet Vadise plunged into chaos, as massive armies gathered on nearby planets in the same solar system.
That army came mostly from Runedell, but there were countless humans from other planets too — all led by people from the Wube family.
The inhabitants of Vadise felt extremely pressured. It was like sharp blades were pointed right at their gates — a clear sign that war was about to break out.
For the commoners of that planet, who hadn’t seen war for thousands of years, it was absolutely terrifying. They were used to being well treated on other planets, and no one had ever really threatened them before.
As fear took over, countless people began fleeing the capital — and some even left the planet altogether. At that moment, all kinds of rumors were spreading. Cunning propagandists, taking advantage of the situation, deliberately fed alarming stories, making sure panic spread everywhere.
Obviously, this came from families allied with the Wube family. Unfortunately, the leader of the Merchant Guild didn’t have time to uncover all the names and only managed to eliminate about a third of the traitors. Seeing that, the enemies decided to strike immediately, while they still had allies on the inside.
Rumors said that war had already begun and that Vadise’s army was in ruins. The Matriarch couldn’t attack, and the Emperor alone wasn’t nearly enough. Some claimed that the capital would soon become a sea of fire and that everyone would die before long.
To make things worse, fake evidence began circulating — supposedly from members of the Merchant Guild who had committed atrocities under the Matriarch’s orders. It was said that the Guild was recently being "attacked" just to erase all proof. This deliberate slander only served to sow more chaos and distrust, unsettling people’s hearts and minds.
As a result, the commoners began to protest against the royal family — some even went as far as selling information to the enemies in exchange for shelter and safety.
And so, even before the war began, the inside of planet Vadise was already in complete disorder.
Painita and the Emperor didn’t stop anyone from leaving. They deliberately let those people make their own choices. Everyone had eyes and a mind — how could they blindly believe any random rumor or piece of "evidence"? The vast majority were Spiritual Guardians and knew how easy it was to fabricate things like that.
Beasts were simple and straightforward in both thought and action; humanoids, on the other hand, were the complete opposite — known for their sinister plots. Once planet Vadise allowed that "virus" to infiltrate its home, driving it out would be painful and nearly impossible.
Painita knew all of this, and that was exactly why she’d waited patiently for so many years, preparing for the right moment. There had always been one missing piece — someone weak enough not to alarm the enemies, but terrifying enough to stir everything up in their place...
...and now, that piece had arrived. She placed all her hopes on him.
Soon, a thick layer of mist covered the planet’s sky, casting a gloomy and oppressive atmosphere over the once-vibrant capital. The streets, once full of life, were now packed with patrolling soldiers — a clear sign that the city was on high alert.
With the conflict drawing near, many new soldiers were recruited, and the pay was generous. Still, facing an alliance led by the sixth largest planet, along with countless other human planets and the Wube family... was pure madness. The power gap was absurd, and everyone knew there was no real way to win.
As a result, even before the actual battle started, soldier morale was already shattered. Without believing in a quick victory, almost everyone planned to fight for a while, earn as much as possible, and when things got truly dangerous, desert — seeking refuge among the enemies.
In any case, all kinds of rumors were spreading against the empire. With that mix of truth and lies, there was no one left who really cared about the royal family. To them, everything would be taken, and the Matriarch would end up exiled somewhere far away.
These events grew worse by the day.
Until, on the fifteenth day, the first real clash erupted on a planet within Vadise’s own solar system. From then on, battles spread and began breaking out daily in different places.

Back to the present, Darian took a deep breath, feeling the Chaos Celestial Armor at full power.
Now, he could finally merge it with the stellar physique. According to Lian, that was the easiest part — he just had to use a method Lian had created, activate both physiques at once, then train for a while until everything naturally synced.
Darian focused on Niara and sensed that she was close to awakening again. Maybe in two or three days.
"How long have I been here?" he asked, turning toward the pair of eyes staring at him.
"Ten full days," the will replied, and Darian’s eyes widened. "Don’t worry. On the fifth day, I stopped the training of those on the eleventh floor. They’re all meditating on their gains in the Mind Chamber."
Darian sighed in relief. They had managed to keep fighting for several days, but there was a limit — and that will of the Chaos Dragon had stopped everything at just the right time.
Suddenly, the space in front of him opened, and two rune-covered spheres appeared before him. His eyes gleamed as he grabbed them and stored them away immediately.
The three highest-level draconic cores were now in his hands. He wanted to rush back to Earth and see Haruto right away, to revive those three.
"As we agreed, you’ve received the three rewards. But since you completed the entire Trial, you’ll also get this place’s ultimate reward," the voice said coldly.
Darian didn’t get too excited. He knew perfectly well that everything in this Trial was made for dragons — luckily, he needed those cores. At best, this new reward might be useful for Niara.
"The final reward, as you might guess, doesn’t work on you. It’s a primordial egg."
Hearing that, Darian immediately knew what she meant — because of that book.
When the Laws of the universe gave birth to a Primordial Beast, it first appeared as a primordial egg. That egg would be nourished by the universe for a long time until something was finally born.
But in that terrifying war of the past, the Queen who enslaved all forms of life had long sent her soldiers into the universes that created such eggs — stealing them before they could hatch.
With that, she had endless vile uses for them. But the current Heaven’s Will destroyed it all. After that, he gained hundreds of primordial eggs that could never return to their original universes.
He already had many Primordial Beasts in his army — and soon came up with a bold idea: what if the beasts gathered together and, using their primordial power, tried to make the egg hatch?
It would be just like mortals did — two beasts with different energies joining to balance the power. Technically, it would be like their child. After many attempts, they actually succeeded.
Seeing the understanding in Darian’s eyes, that will wasn’t surprised; it was common for missionaries to know quite a bit about past history.
"In the past, my true self united with a young Azure Dragon. And by luck — or maybe a miracle — I actually didn’t have to use one of the eggs and ended up having a child naturally. That’s why it was decided to leave it in this Trial." The will explained calmly, "The goal was simple. Whoever managed to clear the Calamity+ challenge would be allowed to use this egg to be physically reborn."
Hearing that, Darian’s eyes widened.
"I would help by placing the person’s original body and soul inside the egg, rebuilding everything with its primordial power. They would be completely reborn, gaining a body free of impurities — and I’d also fuse more draconic bloodline into them. They’d be like a divinity reborn among mortals. As you can imagine, this plan was made before the final battle of that war... but no one ever managed to get past the eleventh floor of this level."
The voice finished with a sigh. The power standards required for participation in that war had been extremely high, so they couldn’t lower the threshold. Immortals were the lowest-ranked fighters, while the primordial dragons were just soldiers slightly stronger than the average.
Darian thought for a moment. He had already been reborn with a nearly identical process thanks to the inheritance from the two phoenixes. Niara, however, no longer had her original body. "Can I take this and use it later?"
"No," the will replied bluntly. "This entire Trial is governed by an extreme primordial power left behind by my true self. Without that — and my programmed capability — it’s impossible for you to replicate it. Not to mention, no spatial mechanism can store this egg. There’s no way to take it or use it later without my help."
Darian huffed. He could only give up...
"!"
Suddenly, he thought of something and waved his hand, taking something massive out of his inventory.
That will saw a completely lifeless draconic body to appear, and look puzzled.
"This body came from..." Darian explained everything — the origin of that body, its issues, and its recent end.
At the end, he asked seriously, "Is it possible to completely rebirth this body, fixing all its problems? That way, the world’s laws would place a soul in it?"
The eyes flickered, staring at Darian in disbelief. He really wanted to use something so precious just to give it to a random soul?
"Yes, that’s not hard at all," the will replied seriously.
Hearing that, his heart sped up in joy. "Perfect... can you rebuild the body and leave it in the form of a newborn? That way, her mother can raise her from scratch, just like it should’ve been."
A heavy sigh echoed. "Yes, that’s simple. I can place it inside an egg and seal it, so you can store it safely and return it to the correct universe. But... are you really sure about this?"
"Absolutely," Darian replied with a gentle smile. "Life’s been too cruel to Lanalia, Oliver, and the people from the old Azure Haven clan. With this, everything can finally be resolved perfectly. Niara and I will have repaid our debt for their help and their loan. Besides, she’ll grow up with all the care and love she deserves. Allowing someone to be born and live well isn’t a bad thing. It’s like planting a good seed and watching it grow into a great tree."
The will sighed again. That boy was a missionary who followed his own path — and still thought completely differently from ordinary people.
Without saying anything else, the dead body slowly floated up and vanished into the void.
"This process will take a hundred years. But I have a space with distorted time made for that. So I’ll finish it in one day." The voice echoed, then faded away.
Darian nodded and sat down right there, closing his eyes. Inside his body, Niara felt his joy and reacted.
"Focus on finishing this. I’ll tell you everything that happened later in detail."
