Damned Healer-Chapter 592: Kill Or Be Killed
The entire population of Earth felt the weight of the world crushing down on their shoulders. No one could move. Those who were outside could only stare up at the sky, frozen in terror.
The horizon turned golden. A glowing, pulsating mist covered every inch of the sky, surrounding the planet like a celestial prison.
After five seconds of absolute silence.
**BUZZ**
A deep tremor seemed to be born from the planet’s core, echoing like a heavy, droning hum.
At the center of each of Earth’s six States, a pillar of light shot upward. They were like columns of energy piercing through the clouds and surging toward the cosmos.
Three pillars were a pure, immaculate white; the other three were an abyssal black, devouring all light around them.
**BOOM!**
The impact was deafening. The six pillars slammed into the golden dome surrounding Earth.
The sky cracked. In seconds, the entire firmament looked like it was covered in shattered glass. Spatial fractures glowed with unstable energy.
Beyond the Moon’s orbit, hundreds of spatial channels opened up around the planet. They were like open windows; through them, distant worlds could be seen.
On the inside, there were hundreds of thousands of figures holding radiant Artifacts. Their jaws dropped. They watched everything unfold, unable to believe what they were seeing.
"The Divine Prison... this is impossible..."
From within all the channels, a thunderous roar echoed.
"ADVANCE!"
Millions of figures crossed through the portals without hesitation.
In seconds, the space around Earth was flooded. They were Spiritual Guardians of all sizes and races, all wielding Supreme Artifacts and radiating a powerful aura from their nine rings.
When they arrived, they were greeted by an explosion of golden dust spreading in all directions, creating a mystical, luminous spectacle.
The invading army halted, eyes tense and hands tightening around their weapons. In front of them, the simple, previously completely irrelevant blue planet... had changed.
It was wrapped in a circular, shining dome of runes. Half of it was pure light; the other half was absolute darkness.
"This looks like Yin and Yang... but... how the hell is this even possible?" a humanoid figure murmured, stunned.
*BUZZ*
The runic dome hummed, emitting an even more resounding light. In the next instant, it began to expand in all directions.
The eyes of the invading generals widened.
"RETREAT! NOW!" the command shouted rang out.
If that thing had been capable of destroying the most powerful Prison Inscription they possessed, they couldn’t afford to be careless. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
The massive army retreated in a hurry.
The expansion was unstoppable. The light passed through the Moon and pushed kilometers farther, claiming the surrounding space.
When the movement finally stopped, the army stared in tense silence. Before them rested a colossal circular world, the size of a small sun, completely sealed, emitting a power that made space-time itself vibrate.
It was possible to see the inside. Then, everyone managed to see a dozen figures exit the planet and move calmly.
Darian was at the front, watching the primordial Yin and Yang defensive inscription with satisfaction.
It was based on the defensive inscriptions that existed in the Devil World and the world of the Celestials. Since Darian now possessed the most powerful beings from that place, along with all the knowledge that came with them, Lucy studied everything and created a unique version.
To activate it, a colossal amount of resources was burned, but the entire Earth and its population were completely safe. Even if the three Spiritual Sovereigns appeared and attacked directly, this inscription would withstand a few of their blows before exploding.
Darian stepped out calmly, passing through the barrier. At his side was Niara, her eyes radiating a fierce killing intent.
"Is it just you?"
Darian’s indifferent voice rang out. In the middle of the void, sound didn’t naturally travel, but with the power of a ring or any other energy applied to the voice, it could be transmitted and heard clearly.
An Alv moved forward, roaring furiously: "DARIAN! You vile bastard! You betrayed all the Spiritual Guardians—"
"Cut the bullshit."
Darian didn’t bother listening. He already knew that, on planets outside his Alliance, countless lies and ridiculous rumors about him had been spread.
Darian’s eyes shone with a cold light. "I’m not going to try to convince anyone of my innocence. I’m not a hero or anything like that, so fuck whatever you think of me. But now that you dared to attack my home, I guarantee that no one is leaving here alive today."
His voice sounded like thunder among them. But the response was nothing more than mocking stares.
Darian only had seven rings, and behind him, there were very few people with nine rings.
Before, at the Convention, the three Spiritual Sovereigns had sent trusted and powerful people from their planets. But that wasn’t even 20% of what they could mobilize. After all, their intention was only to pressure Darian and let Vanh make his move along with his family.
Even with all those deaths, the overall power of the populations of their major planets hadn’t dropped at all. Practically 80% of their forces remained, and now they had all moved together.
Those were the most powerful Spiritual Guardians in the universe, all fully prepared to exterminate a hated enemy. One who, supposedly, was rising and building power at the cost of the lives of other Spiritual Guardians.
Two-thirds of those people knew that it was a fabricated lie. But there were those who truly believed it, and they had come to fight the evil that had been born in the universe.
There were millions of them. No matter how abnormal that missionary was, he didn’t have the strength to win.
*Buzz*
Suddenly, dozens of spatial channels appeared.
From within, a demonic figure rushed out. Behind him, dozens of other people emerged.
"Beleth!"
People recognized that Demon. He was one of the most ancient figures in the universe, and there were legends about him on practically every planet. Even on Earth, although there was almost no real connection to reality.
"Bastard Immortal Keepers!"
"So that’s it! You’re really all united in this!"
Several hate-filled shouts echoed. Just as Darian had been absurdly slandered across the universe, the Immortal Keepers had suffered the same thing forever.
After Darian returned from the Devil World and the Celestials, he had only told Beleth to keep all the Immortal Keepers as far away from him as possible, so the Spiritual Sovereigns wouldn’t be able to use that as an excuse.
Darian exchanged looks with Beleth and saw, behind him, several figures for the first time. He hadn’t called him, but Beleth came immediately anyway, bringing all his allies to help Earth, the same way he had helped Darian in the past.
Beleth turned toward that army with a cold stare. "What does this mean? If you think you can do whatever you want just because you’re many, you’re wrong."
All the Immortal Keepers drew their weapons. There were exactly seventy-two of them, all having become immortals a long time ago.
With experience, they had far greater control over immortal power than ordinary immortals, some reaching up to 10% control. Because of that, even against millions with nine rings at the highest level, those 72 could definitely stop them.
"Hahahaha..."
A malicious laugh echoed through the void. The power behind that laughter made everyone swallow hard.
Time and space rippled in three different directions.
In the next instant, three figures appeared calmly.
Everyone felt the air and all the energies in their bodies freeze.
The three Spiritual Sovereigns appeared in person, and just their presence made everyone feel their very existence tremble. It was as if they were fragile lambs facing true predators.
Beleth stared at the three of them, clenching his fists tightly. But before he could say anything, the space around Darian also rippled.
Three other terrifying figures appeared near him. In that moment, near the small blue planet that had once been considered mediocre and irrelevant in the universe...
...all the most powerful Spiritual Guardians were gathered, along with the six Spiritual Sovereigns and the Immortal Keepers. This was probably the first time in the universe’s history that an event of this magnitude had occurred.
Everything fell silent.
Then, almost in sync, everyone focused on a single point.
The center of it all.
That human figure was currently considered the greatest calamity that had ever existed in the universe.
His expression was absolutely calm and indifferent.
Darian gave a faint smile. "Oh? So everyone showed up early for the party."
"Missionary, your sinful actions will end today." The voice of the Alv, the most powerful Spiritual Sovereign in the universe, rang out firm and heroic.
"Reignar! You...!" Beleth roared with hatred, but suddenly stopped.
Darian sent him a mental message, making his eyes widen.
Darian looked at the three calmly. "I followed the rules we established, but you broke them first, and on top of that, you slandered me across the universe. Anyway, I hate wasting time. Since you’re here, I hope you’re ready to suffer the consequences."
"HAHAHAHA! Just you?!" The Oni Spiritual Sovereign laughed, as if he had heard the most ridiculous joke in the world.
Darian waved back with a slight smirk. "Indeed, I’m still not enough. But I’m not alone."
Niara, at his side, waved.
**BUZZZ!**
A massive spatial channel opened in front of her. That channel expanded and split into dozens.
The three Spiritual Sovereigns stared at Niara coldly.
They had already suspected it, but now, seeing it with their own eyes, they were certain. She really had fused with the Immortal Chaos Essence of a universe. But she wasn’t even a Spiritual Guardian, which was shocking.
"Come." Darian’s voice sounded soft.
Then...
"!"
More than four thousand figures appeared. In the next instant, their bodies pulsed with a terrifying immortal light.
Time and space trembled, and the entire universe seemed to vibrate in sync. A force capable of sweeping away worlds suddenly erupted.
The three immortals showed an indescribable expression, as if they were seeing the most absurd thing in their entire long lives. But...
...in the very next second, all their fluctuations changed.
To euphoria.
A banquet, no, a gift from the heavens had just fallen right in front of them. Thousands of mere immortals! They had never felt so excited before.
All eyes were drawn to that army.
It was in that single second of distraction from everyone, including the three of them, that...
A ghost appeared behind them.
Darian was holding a dagger. On its blade, a sharpening runic seal was already activated.
On top of that, a power sealed inside the dagger was released.
"Blinding Break!"
**KBOOOOM**
An apocalyptic explosion erupted across the universe.
Space shattered, forming colossal blades like waves of devastation.
"KILL!"
At the same time, the entire army of four thousand five hundred immortals roared, drawing their weapons.
There was no room for discussion or negotiation. Now it was kill or be killed.
