The Emperor wore a tense, subtly furious expression. He had sacrificed the Empire's Sacred Treasure to win this fight, something completely unexpected. His plan had been to save that secret power so that, in the future, once he had control over the Nether Beasts, he could kill the entity who had dominated the Divine Nether Beast.

Now, even if he won, that figure would know about this card and wouldn't fall for it again.

In short, it was exactly as Darian had predicted. These people's plans never involved peace or stability; before long, they would try to kill each other and restart the war in a different way.

But...

At that moment, as the Roc's body flew through the skies and would arrive within the next few seconds, everything changed.

Suddenly, that figure in the sky stopped. Then, its body pulsed with an intense light. All forms of life, on every island in this universe, felt it or saw it.

Darian immediately turned toward that direction. He recognized that light and that power. In that instant, the world fell silent, anticipating something terrifying.

**KBOOOOM!!**

An explosion of horrifying proportions erupted in the sky.

It was as if a star had exploded extremely close to everyone. Space-time shattered, and entire islands trembled as if they were about to break apart.

Everything was swallowed by absolute chaos for several minutes.

But there was no serious damage to the people or the islands of this universe. All the energy dispersed through space is absorbed by the power of the Void. It was as if everything had been meticulously planned and executed so that no innocent would be harmed.

Then, when everything began to calm down...

Only one thing existed in the world above the people.

It was as if a sun had appeared, radiating absolute power. There was no sign of the Roc's body, and all that power carried an oppressive, unparalleled feeling; it was clear that all of it came from that corpse.

And at its center...

"Alear," Darian murmured, taking a deep breath.

At the center of everything stood a Dragoness covered in violet scales. Her wings were spread wide, and her green eyes radiated a light that was both beautiful and terrifying.

"WHAT THE HELL!" The Emperor snapped out of his stupor, completely stunned. He grabbed the communication crystal in desperation. "Supreme General! What's going on?!"

With that shout, Darian immediately connected the dots and smiled faintly.

That adopted daughter of his... yes, he had heard about her from that Imperial General who had come to the city to capture him before. An incredible figure had appeared out of nowhere in the Empire a few years ago and had taken the position of Supreme General number two, giving the Primordial Empire three of them for the first time in history.

Darian hadn't thought about Alear because he felt that his daughter had learned to live her life like Niara. The two acted like sisters, doing very similar things all the time, which led him to believe they were truly alike.

So, just like Niara, Alear should have been the type who lived and acted completely free, with no talent for infiltrating a place by following rules or taking on an important position that required acting with strategy.

But there was far more to that young woman than met the eye.

She proved that she knew how to be like Niara, but also how to be like her adoptive father when needed. She was intelligent and had truly learned everything Darian had taught her.

Darian felt pride burning in his chest. In the skies, Alear roared, and all her scales trembled and shone.

Within seconds, all the primordial power moved as if it were being devoured by her.

"IMPOSSIBLE!!!" the Emperor shouted.

It wasn't just him. Everyone in the universe could see or feel it happening. That Dragoness had truly destroyed the Roc! And now, she was absorbing all of its power!

People were completely frozen, unable to believe what they were seeing.

Darian watched everything and understood. It was impossible for anyone else to do what she had done. After all, Alear possessed a pure body, nurtured by the purest primordial power.

She must have infiltrated the Primordial Empire because she was certain Darian would reach this place one day. And, sensing how terrible they were, she sought to uncover all their secrets and prepare herself.

Then, when she became a Supreme General and learned about the possibility of the Emperor manipulating the Roc's body, she got ready. When it was summoned, she used her power to connect to it and then, activating all of her primordial power, managed to control the power of that lifeless corpse.

For her, it was as simple as Darian mastering elements. She had been born with it in her body, while the corpse had no will or soul to defend itself.

In the end, she completely eliminated that body, making it explode and turn into pure energy. Then, so nothing would go to waste, she absorbed everything. Of course, only a body like hers could absorb that.

*BUZZ*

She closed her eyes. All the Void power of the universe began to vibrate. At that moment, Alear became the center of everything, and her draconic Bloodline ignited at an unprecedented level.

Her figure radiated a terrifying beauty and power. Everyone kept their eyes fixed on her, as if they were standing before a true Goddess.

It lasted only a few seconds. Then, she opened her eyes and focused on a distant point.

Even from very far away, she could see Darian, and he could see her. They exchanged looks, and a warm smile appeared on her lips.

Her wings moved. In the next instant, she appeared on that island, as if she had pierced through space.

"Dan!"

She appeared right in front of him and, excited, jumped into his arms.

"Good job," Darian sighed as he felt her warmth, his hands gently stroking her hair. "But we still need to finish things here."

She pulled away from him, smiling.

Everything had happened very fast. In just a few minutes, the Roc's corpse had been in the sky, ready to force Darian to use everything he had to destroy it; in the next instant, it simply vanished.

Alear had done an amazing job. Because of that, Darian could deal with everything at once.

The Emperor, in the skies, had his eyes wide open. Suddenly, he clenched his fists, commanding the Nether Heart.

All the Nether Beasts attacking Niara had stopped moving when the Roc was destroyed. Now, he was commanding them again. But...

*AAAAH!*

Niara roared, releasing a thunderous sound.

An invisible ripple spread rapidly. The wave expanded in all directions, and the expressions of the Nether Beasts changed as they felt dizzy.

Niara had just used all her accumulated energy in a large-scale soul technique. To them, it was as if heaven and earth had flipped, as if the world was spinning around them.

Even the Emperor was affected.

Clarity returned to Niara's eyes. Her berserker mode came to an end. Then, she clenched her fists tightly. Her scales pulsed as all of her draconic power was unleashed.

In her eyes, a grayish light appeared. It was the power of Chaos she now possessed, coming from Darian.

"Die!"

Niara roared again and made a spinning motion with her wings, cutting through the air. A wave of energy flowed like a vortex through space, spreading in all directions and brutally hitting the Nether Beasts.

It was a technique she had developed, using Darian's Chaos power together with her Bloodline. It was simple and crude, just mixing everything together and attacking. But it had immense offensive power, especially when the enemies were already affected.

It was like a huge circular blade spreading out and cutting everything apart. Only the sound of flesh being torn and bodies hitting the ground could be heard. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

In just seconds, the battlefield became wide and silent. She killed everyone in a brief instant. Thousands were obliterated in a single moment, rows of mutilated corpses lying everywhere.

Suddenly, Niara's gaze locked onto the Emperor, who didn't even have time to think amid everything that was happening.

Since he couldn't escape and had to help the city's Sacred Treasure, he tried to think of something... but everything ended very, very fast.

The moment their eyes met, the Emperor's soul trembled.

Niara charged in pursuit, her killing intent burning to the bone.

The Emperor retreated, realizing he had no way to win. He quickly pulled out an artifact, trying to escape.

"Only in your dreams!" Niara appeared like a ghost in front of him and threw a punch.

*BOOM!*

With an explosive sound, the Emperor screamed as he was sent flying through the air. He coughed up blood, along with pieces of his own insides.

To Niara's surprise, he managed to use the Nether Heart to protect himself. It had many useful applications, even for someone like him, who wasn't a Nether Beast. But unfortunately, after that blow, the Nether Heart shattered in the air.

Niara attacked once more, giving the Emperor no chance to recover.

Seeing her approaching again, he twisted his body and spat blood, trying to use some other random bullshit.

But in front of absolute power, those little tricks were ridiculous.

She punched.

*BOOM!*

With a deafening sound, whatever he tried to use shattered. This time, there was no scream; he had tried something desperate that sacrificed his own life. Now that it had failed, he had no strength left.

Niara grabbed his neck firmly.

Darian had already told her before not to kill him, since his memories could be useful. He struggled a bit in the sky, but soon his consciousness was completely sealed, and he blacked out.

She snorted and turned toward the ground. There, she saw Darian and Alear waiting for her. When she saw your adopted daughter, a huge emotion exploded in her chest.

Niara landed on the ground in front of them.

At that moment... a strong light appeared behind them.

The three turned toward the giant corpse. Finally, Alaric and the Sacred Treasure had reached the end of their duel.
