Death… And Me-Chapter 4112: Everyone?
*Zush!*
Hick appeared again, annoyed. "I had just covered your cultivations, and you already broke the boundaries. You'd better not do that in the Rank C and lower Universes."
Roan's Intent Weapons disappeared. "It wasn't like we had much of a choice here. If he had gone out, he would have spoken about us, and then it would be guaranteed that we would be pursued. At least this way, we will gain some time. Not to mention, we are expected to be Peak Divinities, so when they find out about his disappearance, it might not be connected to us at first."
"Maybe, but it definitely will sooner or later," Hick answered.
Then he felt the twins' group's cultivation being suppressed, activated his power, and once again created a boundary that hid their true cultivations. "Alright, it is done. Remember, if you release it inside a low-rank Universe, you will be expelled straight away."
Rean already moved to the Great Void Shifter. "Yeah, we get it. But while we can't use our real cultivation inside those places, neither can the Werdlem Empire people. The only exceptions are the Universe Owners."
"You must be extra careful with those," Hick warned. "They aren't just Celestials, but they also have the support of their own Universe's power. Even an Initial Stage Celestial could display a strength one or two stages higher because of that support."
With that, Hick returned to the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, followed by Roan and Celis. Only Rean and Kentucky were going to use the Abyssal Path.
They willed it above the shifter, and the black tunnel appeared once more. Soon, they disappeared inside. Thanks to their quick actions, no traces of what just happened remained, and that was the right thing to do.
Just two days later, a group with three Celestials appeared, including A1's Universe Owner, Wurklio. As mentioned before, the Tombassin Sect was the power that controlled A1, and Wurklio was its highest Ancestor. He pretty much got himself away from all the Sect Matters, leaving it for the Sect Master to deal with.
However, he was obviously contacted after what happened in the Werdlem Universe, especially since the twins had been to his Universe before going after Hick's body. He was told to investigate all the connections with the twins' group, so he had to come out of the background.
The first thing he found out was about Tanxan, Foliana, Wisfreya, and Zangeshu. They all had various interactions with the twins' group during their stay here. Tanxan and Foliana even joined his own sect. Obviously, he sent his people after those four, as well as the other powers that had relations with them.
Too bad, though. By the time his sect received the orders to investigate the twins' group, Tanxan and Foliana were already gone. That made sense, as Rean wouldn't forget about his people back in A1 after their identity was found. The very first thing he did after they got to the Werdlem Universe was to contact all four of them. No, six of them. Rean also contacted Krue'Suan and Ximao.
Ximao and Krue'Suan could be said to be more of the Werdlem Empire's subordinates than the twins' group's friends. It's just that those two did help his people, so Rean decided to at least warn them, even if he didn't tell much about himself. Ximao and Krue'Suan knew nothing about the system, primordial beasts, and all that. It was a lot more likely that Ximao and Krue'Suan would immediately report to Caladara and the Werdlem Empire of everything, but that wasn't a problem anymore.
In any case, Tanxan and Foliana were gone from the Tombassin Sect. As for Zangeshu and Wisfreya, the couple was also gone from Verjansy Country. In Zangeshu and Wisfreya's case, they didn't leave Verjansy because of Rean's warnings, though. They were already gone before that. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
They only returned to Verjansy because Wisfreya wanted to help rebuild the country, and she did exactly that. In the end, the Verjansy Country was too small for her cultivation ambitions, and Zangeshu was the same, so they left. Of course, they still got Rean's warning, as Zangeshu now and then contacted Rean through the Werdlem Network to discuss formations. Sometimes, Rean, Zangeshu, and Tanxan joined the same call for the same thing.
So, where did they go after Rean's warning? Definitely not back to the twins' group. No, Rean did not go after them to try to bring everyone with him. Roan was adamant, saying that they knew what it meant to be related to them, and that Tanxan, Zangeshu, and the others accepted the risks. They had to be able to deal with it all on their own.
Rean knew that, and he wasn't all that worried. That's because he also left his bracelets that could be used as someone else's Werdlem ID and even Werdlem Energy Signature. That alone was more than enough to make them disappear. If they were still caught in the end, well... bad luck.
"Was Rocalvo supposed to be here?" Wurklio asked the other two Celestials, one from the Werdlem Empire and another from his Sect.
The Celestial from his sect confirmed. "Yes, Rocalvo was meant to watch this place. Since those guys that invaded the Werdlem Universe could use Abyssal Paths without Great Void Shifters, we considered the possibility that those involved with them could do the same. However, none of them were Celestials. Tanxan and Foliana were just two Divinities in the Initial Stage, so they couldn't possibly have done anything to Rocalvo."
The Celestial from the Werdlem Empire, a man called Jruse-Uh, checked everything with his Divine Sense, finding nothing out of the norm. "Wurklio, are you sure this guy didn't just hide in some corner because of the boredom of this task? Celestials tend to be too proud, especially to be sent to do jobs like this. He would be stationed here for almost no reason for hundreds of years, after all."
Wurklio shook his head. "If it were an order from my sect, perhaps he would dare ignore it, and even so, it would be very unlikely. Yet, it was both an order directly from the Werdlem Empire and me. He isn't that tired of living yet."
Jruse-Uh nodded slightly. "Then the fact that it happened right here in the Great Void Shifter is suspicious. The timing is too good. Those guys that invaded the Werdlem Universe must still be there, but that doesn't mean they don't have allies capable of the same thing."
Then, he took out his CD, speaking. "Get me all the Universes that could be accessed through this Great Void Shifter."
