Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf-Chapter 11: Skip

Adrian stood forward and shielded her, Infront of them stood a massive wolf with three pups following behind her.

He crouched down and looked directly into it eyes. Annie tried to pull him back so they can run but she couldn’t even move him.

He wasn’t heavy per se but his feet were firmly planted in the snow. The wolf bowed it head and came to him.

This scared Annie even more but he just grinned. " It’s fine, she will not harm you." He told her as he patted the wolf.

Annie still didn’t move but after a while she realised the wolf wasn’t acting violently, she outstretched her hand hesitantly.

She placed it on the wolf’s head and stood frozen with her eyes closed for a few seconds then slowly she opened them.

Then smiled, " Her fur is so soft." She whispered with excitement, she had always loved furry animals.

She continued petting the wolf then went to it puppies. It growled at her causing Adrian to glare at it cowering it.

" Don’t do that, she’s very protective of her puppies." Annie drew her hand back and they watched the wolf walk off.

She turned and looked at him with a smile and before he could react she planted a kiss on his lips.

He was frozen not knowing how to react, she pulled herself off him then grinned and ran down the mountain.

" See you tomorrow." She shouted and Adrian just stood there frozen, he came to a few seconds later.

" What happened?" He whispered, after ate kissed he felt his blood boil, not with rage but desire.

His heart beat faster like a drum of war, he almost felt himself losing control which forced him to shut down subconsciously, probably to protect her.

Adrian found this strange, his body’s reaction towards was hard to explain but he felt himself desiring her more than anything.

Her scent alone made his heart expand and his blood boil. He shook his head and went back to his motel.

When he climbed the stairs to his room he saw the new couple coming out. He could smell the scent of sex on them even after they showered.

It was an unpleasant scent but who was he to judge. They drew closer to each other then he caught familiar scents.

It was the same ones he felt on the day he went back to his house and saw cops there. The scent was definitely human but it was mixed with something else.

His eyes rose and he looked directly into the man with a suit. Their eyes met and the man’s face scowled. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

They passed each other then both stopped, turned and looked at each other for a split second then left.

Adrian got into his room and locked the door behind him then took a deep breath. That man gave him a dangerous feeling.

Not life threatening, Adrian instinctively knew there was only one thing in this world that can permanently kill him.

However he was not really an idiot, just because he can’t die didn’t mean he couldn’t be harmed.

He immediately packed his bags, he had no idea who those people were but he had no intentions of associating with them.

He still needed the find his sister and he couldn’t afford to deal with other dangerous people.

" What is it?" Vestro asked seeing Wolf’s face scowling. He only did that when there was something he couldn’t figure out.

Wolf took out a compass looking object, it showed it nothing and his scowl grew.

" Strange, truly strange." He whispered to himself which worried Vestro. She found herself reaching for her daggers.

There was always trouble when Wolf acted like this. She looked around but felt nothing.

Unlike Wolf she didn’t have sensory abilities, she couldn’t tell when a Fayera or Espara was around unless they reveal themselves.

Wolf could, even though his sensory abilities weren’t as impressive as some of the Espara and most Fayera they were still better than hers.

" That boy, he gave me a dangerous feeling but my esper compass can’t seem to register what he is.

It’s as if he doesn’t exist in our records." The esper compass had records of many Fayera species.

It can not only tell you their level of power but species as well. It can tell that boy was strong but couldn’t tell his species.

" Perhaps he’s from one of the ancient races that only exist in few numbers, like the Dragonals maybe." Vestro suggested.

Wolf nodded even though he doubted it, after all a Dragonal was monster at birth with enough power to kill both of them.

Fortunately they were an incredibly rare species, so rare that the organisation doesn’t even have their DNA samples.

The two of them went to check on Meggie and told her about the boy living across from them.

Meggie didn’t seem to be interested, she took out a bottle with blue liquid.

" This liquid has the blood of your target, it will glow when they’re around. Now, can I leave?"

She sounded annoyed, Wolf thanked her but then his next words poured cold water on her.

" I’m afraid we can’t let you go until we solve this case, so far you’re one of only two suspects in this town, do not worry though, with your potion we should be able to find the culprit quite easily."

Meggie grumbled and clicked her tongue but she didn’t resist. " At least let me out of here, I swear I won’t leave town, you’ll just hunt Mr down anyways."

Wolf and Vestro contemplated it then decided there was no harm to it, she was right, if she left they would track her down.

Meggie left and went back to her house, night came and she sneaked out. She lied, she had every intention to leave but not for herself.

She drove her car beyond the speed limit straight out of town. On the side of the road she saw him.

She stopped the car and looked out the window, " Get in."

Adrian looked confused but he could see the agitation on her face. " Ms Meggie, What’s happening?"

Meggie, " I’ll explain everything just get in, you’re in danger."

Adrian sighed and got in but he was still vigilant. " What you did drew some attention to you kid.

We need to leader town before those two find you." Meggie sounded agitated but Adrian was not as shaken.

While he knew who she was talking about as they were the only ones to give him a sense of danger he was not scared.

" I can take care of myself." He whispered while looking out the window.

" I don’t doubt that but these guys aren’t some weak poachers or petty thugs, They’re agents of the G.S.C.A, amongst the best of the lower agents.

They’re caught wind of your train and they’re definitely coming for you. Which is why we’re leaving town."

Adrian sighed, " I don’t know why you’re doing this but I can’t leave, not yet."
