Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf-Chapter 34: The demon Reveals Itself

Eve did not explain to her parents what had happened, she just said she lost control but her little brother told them.

Of course their father dismissed him but Francine reacted differently this time. She didn’t say anything but frowned.

Just like that an entire week passed, the nightmares did not end and the strange phenomenon around the house grew.

They’ve all been seeing strange things lately, it was compromising their daily lives, Danny, the father almost lost his job because of it.

They couldn’t sleep, they couldn’t be alone, the only time they’re ever free is when they’re outside the house.

However they strangely found it hard to stay away from the house as if they were drawn here.

They did try to sleep in a hotel once but that was a terrible idea, the entity made their night even worse forcing them to come back.

They were certain now, whatever lived here wanted them here but it hadn’t killed them, they all wondered what it wanted.

Night came and they sat around the dinner table eating. They sat in silence, nobody was willing to talk to anybody else.

The mood was somber, they could feel it, they could all feel something was wrong but nobody was willing to talk about it.

The things they’ve been seeing, none of them could explain them, they tried to ignore it hoping it would go away.

Eventually Eve couldn’t handle it anymore and she lashed out.

" Are you really going to sit there and wait for it to kill us?" She shouted at her parents.

They both looked at her with exhausted eyes and sighed.

" Eat your dinner Eve, there’s nothing here." Her father replied while eating his meal.

Eve felt her frustration blaze, " Oh my god what is wrong with you, you know there’s something in this house, we all know it.

Dad, your car randomly combusted, we tried sleeping in a hotel and the water there turned into piss.

Turns out it wasn’t piss at all, we were just seeing things but you know the truth, we all know the truth.

We should just go find some priest or witch to protect us or something."

She continued raising her voice, the light flickered on and off the more she shouted.

" ENOUGH!" her father shouted shutting her up. Eve shut up even though she was still angry.

Then her mother seemed to remember something and she ran upstairs. Francine ran to her cabinet.

" Where is it where is it?" She was searching for the box, she had completely forgotten about it somehow.

It was as if its memory just slipped her mind without her even realising and this terrified her.

Fortunately her daughter’s shouting reminded her. She opened the shelves looking for the box then she paused.

She could feel somebody standing behind her, her hands started shaking then she turned and saw her husband.

She sighed with relief, " Dannyz you scared me."

Danny smiled gently, she hasn’t seen him smile like that ever since they came to this house.

On the first day perhaps but he’s been sullen ever since, they’ve all been. Danny reached down and took her hand.

She stood up and he pulled her in, Francine felt herself losing her breath. She loved her husband.

Before, they had intimacy every night and most times, every morning before he went to work.

When the kids were not home they used to be even more freaky doing it everywhere but it had been work since he touched her now.

She could understand though, it was not like he didn’t try, he tried, he did everything right, he still showed that he loved her.

However he couldn’t get it up, they’ve tried to see a doctor but the doctor said there’s nothing wrong with him.

Danny tried to explain but Francine felt that he no longer desired her, this made her feel worthless.

So when he pulled her in and went for a kiss, she lost her strength and her body went for it naturally.

Just as their lips were about to touch the door opened waking her up from her trance. She looked at the door and saw Danny looking at her with fear.

Her heart pounded and she raised her eyes and saw....Danny, the person she was holding was Danny too.

The Danny on the door roar loudly and picked up a lamp, he lunged at them scaring her.

The door in her arms smiled so widely his lips almost reached his ears. A human cannot smile like that.

Then he opened his mouth so wide it could fit her head, countless razor sharp teeth lined his mouth all the way down to his throat.

When she looked down his throat all she saw was an endless abyss, he pounced on her but her husband was already there.

He rammed the lamp on the creatures head and it disappeared like a wisp of smoke. Francine took a deep breath then cried.

She was so scared her knees couldn’t stop shaking, Danny immediately hugged her and held her tight.

" It’ll be fine." He told her, even though she knew he couldn’t defeat a thing like that, she still believed him.

She felt safe in his arms, while they were embracing each other they heard their children scream.

That brought them back, she immediately reached for the last shelf and took the box and they ran downstairs.

When they got in the kitchen they saw nothing but their kids huddled together in a corner.

Eve looked more shaken than even Cane, she rushed towards them while Danny broke a chair’s leg to use it as a weapon.

He stood defensively around his family while Francine tried to calm down Eve.

" I’m so sorry sweetie, I’m so sorry, we should’ve believed you." Francine cried and hugged her kids.

" We need to leave." Danny reminded them, they took only a few steps before the lights went out.

The house became darker than it should’ve been even if the lights were out. Danny pulled his family and ran for the door.

Unfortunately when he got there the door locked. No matter how hard he tried he couldn’t pry it open.

Fear gripped his heart so tight he felt his breath shorten. Then they felt them, slow wet steps coming towards them.

Then the steps grew heavier and faster, what followed was a growl so vile and ancient it sounded like the screams of a dying humans.

The entire family huddled together and screamed, then they saw it, a gigantic brown creature with horns and sharp teeth.

It leaned down and grinned at them, then it reached for Cane with its claws, before it could touch them however, the door clicked.
