Wu Long didn’t delve into the exact way he did it, but it was fairly obvious he played multiple sides, effectively making it into a bidding war, and used a ‘mysterious buyer’ to rack up the price.
He also eventually sold the land in parts, not as a whole as none of the noble families and merchants around could afford to buy it in its entirety.
Wu Long praised the good work, and they prepared to move out.
All of the Helian Family’s wealth, of course, would not simply flow into a common ‘pile’ of wealth of the Eternal Duality Valley, as there were considerations on the internal financial structure and proper accounting, but with Sui Luxiao by his side Wu Long did not have to worry.
After all, she was once able to completely, fairly and legally separate two trading companies which were intricately merged at the base levels for decades, down to a single copper coin, and the smallest agreements, in less than two weeks.
The merging of Helian Family into the Soaring Feather Trading Company was not something that would make her stumble.
The two weeks were also a perfect time for the Helian Family to, although hurriedly, pack up and prepare for a major relocation.
They prepared and flew out on the flying Beasts of Burden to not cause suspicion about the massive fleet and all the people simply disappearing.
They also had to keep up appearances in front of the crew of the ship and Wei Yuanjie’s bodyguards, as Wu Long wasn’t about to advertise the existence of the Mystic Realm, especially not to the Wei Dynasty’s Imperial Family.
It was possible to obscure most of what happened in relation to the Mystic Realm during the fight with the Bao Family’s people, due to a combination of Liang Yuhan’s illusion abilities amplified by Fen Baihu’s support, but a whole noble family with a fleet of Beasts of Burden dissipating into nothingness was a bit too much to just wave away.
Thus, the ship, surrounded by the fleet of Beasts of Burden departed from the Deep Gorge Continent, but could be seen flying over the adjacent World alone, as it parted with the fleet at some point after passing through the first World Stone, though of course, that fleet disappeared not long after parting with the ship, as soon as it was no longer visible from it.
“I will be off, Teacher”, Li Weifang made a fist and hand salute.
“Mm, don’t worry, once your work there’s done, or more likely, after things settle down, we will have plenty of time for a thorough training” Wu Long nodded.
“Y-es, Teacher”, Li Weifang slightly shook at the words, ‘thorough training’, causing teasing gazes and giggles to come from the trio of Old Yen, Nie Guanting and Kwon Qianhong.

And then, Wu Long turned to them, “Ah, it would be a good time to finally get you guys into shape as well, so expect to train twice as hard as Weifang, you have to show effort as his seniors among my followers, right?”
The giggles and teasing gazes stopped immediately as their faces paled, while Butler Bang standing next to them sighed, shaking his head, with a face saying ‘They never learn, do they?’, expecting this and thus not having joined them in the gleeful behavior before.
Wu Mengqi, even though it was unrelated to her, hid behind Ye Ling, as the beauties laughed.
And as Li Weifang flew out in the direction of the Wei Dynasty, the ship accelerated toward the Soft Meadow Continent, finally carrying the travelers back to their current base of operations.
On the way, though, they made stops to buy up stock of various locally sold Alchemy Ingredients they excluded from their buying list in the Emerald Falls City, as they were much cheaper to buy in bulk here than in the Wei Dynasty’s Imperial City, and for Old Yen, Nie Guanting, and Kwon Qianhong to have an opportunity to gather a bit of information on the movements of the Dual Cultivation Sects, as there was no attempts after those assassins failed, which was a bit unusual.
This, caused them to learn of a massive development that happened while they were busy cooped up in the Deep Gorge Continent, as news came from the Boundless Mortal World that the legacy of Lust Cultivators was alive within the Corrupt Path, exposed in major revelations and events happening in the Boundless Mortal World, in multiple large Worlds simultaneously. This cause an uproar among the Dual Cultivation Sects throughout all of the Seven Boundless Worlds, leaving no time for those Sects in the vicinity to care about Wu Long anymore.
‘Heh, it seems we might be welcoming Xia Jung even faster than I expected’, Wu Long chuckled, as it was the tactic they agreed upon.
It was certainly impossible for Xia Jung to exterminate Lust Cultivators everywhere in the Boundless Mortal World, even if he used his maximum lifespan to do it, but by exposing the fact they hid within the Corrupt Path, they could activate all of the Dual Cultivation Sects against both the surviving Lust Cultivation legacy and the Corrupt Path that chose to harbor them.
Although it was likely that Xia Jung’s work was still not done, as he had to continue making this an issue long enough that it is viewed not as an irregularity, but an accepted truth that the Lust Cultivators were taking refuge in the Corrupt Path on a large scale, it was already a major development which brought the timing of the arrival of those left in the Boundless Mortal World closer, which meant Wu Long’s side also had to slightly hurry up.

A ruckus was happening around the Battle God’s Cradle World Stone, as the Iron Claw Group began building a fort around it, with a part of the high and sturdy walls build of rocks, already standing.
“This is still within the territory of our Sect! You seriously are crossing all lines!”, Yu Zhen, the Elder of the Three Pillars Sect, spoke with a tone full of indignation as he stood in front of his Sect’s members who arrived here.
“Tsk, you know full well that you won’t be the ones managing the World Stone. The earlier you accept it, the easier it will be for you!”, Huo Bai, the Iron Claw Group’s enforcer spoke while picking his ear with his pinky, both the tone of his voice and expression, and even his whole pose giving off the feeling of light annoyance one would have at a fly buzzing around.
People of the Iron Claw group were standing behind his back, and crews of workers were continuing the construction in the background behind them.
“You-…!”, Yu Zhen pointed his finger, enraged.
“It may be true that no Sect has claimed the World Stone as of yet, the talks between the three big Sects and the Martial Alliance delegation are still going on, but it doesn’t mean the Iron Claw Group can just swoop in with impunity”, seeing that this was going nowhere, Ko Fuan, the fourth son of the Silver Wing City’s City Lord spoke up.
“Hah! Look who decided to chime in! If it isn’t the little fourth or fifth son of City Lord Ko?”, Huo Bai spoke with a mocking grin.
Ko Fuan, however, simply nodded, “Of the Silver Wing City. And now that you mention it, it seems to me that this World Stone is a lot closer to the Silver Wing City than it is to the Iron Claw City”
“Tsk, who cares~!”, Huo Bai clicked his tongue, seeing that he jumped into that argument, which was unfavorable to him, and shifted his tone a bit, “It’s not like we’re claiming it! Our leader just thought that with all this chaos around, the World Stone was left completely unchecked! Once a party emerges which will control the World Stone, we will discuss on how to operate it. It’s not like we can’t offer our services as the ones maintaining it!”
“He’s right, our Crystal Wood Sect, for one, supports this initiative. Besides it looks like the link is getting more stable by the day, we wouldn’t want people from the Boundless Mortal World slipping through unchecked while we are arguing over who will control the access point, what if in the lower Worlds they belonged to Corrupt Path or the Evil Path, and use this moment when there’s no checks and balances to sneak in?”, an Elder of the Crystal Wood Sect spoke stroking his long beard with a smug face.
“That may be true, but it doesn’t really make sense for the Iron Claw Group to be the ones in temporary control. It also seems like the Iron Claw Group decided to pick a side…”, an Elder from the Ember Palm Pavilion narrowed his eyes at Huo Bai, who started to visibly panic, his previous confident demeanor completely disappearing when talked to by someone from the three big Sects.
“Ahaha”, Huo Bai made a nervous dry laugh, in a subservient tone, “O-of course not! We maintain netur-…”
But he was unceremoniously cut off.
“Hmph! I agree! It seems hasty to establish this World Stone’s control in such an unorganized and haphazard manner!”, the Elder of the Seven Extreme Swords Sect spoke, looking with narrowed, suspicious eyes at his rival from the Crystal Wood Sect, “Should we not have the Martial Alliance arbitrate such a decision first?”
“Hmm, indeed, it is good that City Lord Ko’s son has informed us about this sneaky grab, otherwise we would’ve been beating a dead horse arguing about this”, the Elder of the Ember Palm Pavilion nodded.
Zhao Xieren was present here as well, but remained mostly in the background, as the one who first noticed this move by the Iron Claw Group through the Thousand Eyes Palace and orchestrated this whole argument, now simply reaping the benefits of others putting a stop to it without him needing to come forward at all.
