The next few days began to pass by quickly, Celine hadn’t told anyone about the pregnancy yet...who did she have to tell?

She had called Elise and informed her to put the contract signing with Divine Media on a hold, to inform the company that she wanted to face a personal issue for some time before she could return to her career. It seemed Divine Media were so keen to get her, they immediately agreed to her request however Elise had been hounding her with questions, and since Celine wouldn’t be able to give any answers she had been avoiding her manager like a plague.

She’d gotten a few books to learn more about pregnancy and had also gone to the hospital for a normal routine checkup. These couple of days, her morning sickness seemed to have intensified, however, her reports came out normal and the doctor assured her that she and the baby were in good health.

Celine knew that she couldn’t keep a pregnancy hidden for long, the baby would grow in her stomach soon and everyone would come to know about it, with a sigh, Celine decided to worry about that later as she dressed up to meet up with Natalia at their agreed meeting place.

She was having mixed feelings about meeting Natalia partly because she was afraid Natalia might see through the fact that she was pregnant, Natalia had incredibly keen eyes.

Celine realized she had hidden away for long enough just as she had confronted her family, she had called up Natalia as well. She expected to hear anger from Natalia which was something she certainly deserved, however Natalia had been quite understanding about the whole thing. They agreed to meet at a restaurant located in the lower east side which they usually frequented together.

Celine took off her hat and mask as she walked into the simple restaurant located close to the high school both Celine and Natalia had attended. There were a few students inside the restaurant all focused on chatting happily while eating, it somewhat reminded her of her past.

Back then, Celine, Natalia and Lilian would come here together for a meal after school.

There were certainly places in Neville Celine could be and people wouldn’t recognize her, Neville’s lower east side being one of those places.

"Celine!" Natalia waved her over from a seat at the corner and Celine went over after spotting her.

Natalia was a naturally seductive beauty, with her wavy brown hair and feline shaped eyes, coupled with her attractive figure made her catch the eyes at first glance. When she spoke, she would draw the attention of both men and women alike. Celine smiled seeing the lovestruck looks in the eyes of a few teenage highschool boys inside the restaurant as they turned to glance at Natalia. She always had that effect on men wherever she went.

Before Celine could even sit down upon arriving at Natalia’s table, she was pulled into a tight hug.

"Okay, okay, let go now before you squish me to death." Celine said laughingly.

Natalia could be perceived as strict by some people, but she was the sweetest and most affectionate to the people she cared about.

"Mm, you look different Celine, has it really been that long?" Natalia commented before taking her seat across from Celine.

Celine lowered her head a bit but didn’t show any reaction to give herself away, she knew it was hard to keep things hidden from Natalia’s observant eyes and the tiniest slip up in her expression would be the very ticket to making Natalia see through her.

Celine quickly changed the topic, "Missing the old times again huh, is that why you wanted to meet here?

They would usually meet at this restaurant to reminiscence about the old days and their time in high school.

"Yes, I do miss the old days but I called you out here to talk about you Celine."

"Oh." Celine said lowering her head. She knew that Natalia would certainly want to hear the details of why she had run from the wedding. Though they had spoken about it briefly over the phone, there was still a lot of it to talk about.

Natalia quietly assessed Celine’s expression, "You said Ian cheated on you. Tell me everything, how did you find out, and why did you even go to the wedding when he did something like that to you."

Celine had just parted her lips to reply, but someone suddenly interrupted them.

"Excuse me, Miss..." The slightly hoarse voice of a teenager came from beside them.

Both ladies turned to look questioningly at him and the boy blushed.

"Yes?" Natalia flashed the boy her lovely smile which made her face look even more alluring. The boy lowered his head unable to maintain eye contact.

Celine shook her head at Natalia, she was clearly doing it on purpose, flashing a dazzling smile to tease the young lad.

"Uhm...this is for you." The boy dropped a single rose in front of Celine on the table and quickly scurried away from their table looking flustered.

Celine was taken aback while Natalia burst out laughing, "Aww, how cute. The boy seems to have a little crush on you. You really should tell me the secret to this new glow of yours." Natalia teased her laughingly.

Usually, the boys would bring flowers and love letters to Natalia whenever they would come here, it wasn’t as if there was a huge gap of beauty between the two ladies but Natalia was the seductively alluring kind of beauty that looked like a fiery red rose with thorns that will prick whoever comes close, yet irresistible when she smiled as it melted all the intimidating aura from her. As for Celine, she was more of an innocent beauty, like spring blossoms in full bloom, soft and ethereal, the kind one would want to dote on forever.

Teenagers were daring, looking for excitement, hence they would playfully drool at the young women and set dares amongst each other on who could gain the courage to approach them.

Celine laughed off Natalia’s comment which was hinting at something and said, "The poor boy was probably nervous so he dumped the flower on me instead." She wanted to dismiss Natalia’s assesive eyes, however the latter had latched onto something in her mind and wasn’t letting it go.

"Come on Celine, tell me your secret. This lovely glow of yours definitely has a reason."

Celine had also noticed some changes on herself recently due to the pregnancy, her body seemed to be reshaping itself, her breasts growing fuller and her skin became more radiant with each passing day.

Natalia placed her elbows on the table, her lips pursed thoughtfully as she gave Celine a deep curious once over.

Celine felt her heart jolt for a moment.
