Elysium: Desired by the Cold-hearted Princess [GL]-Chapter 296: The L word
Third-person POV
The only thing ringing in Seraphina’s head was what E had just said—our girlfriend. She blinked, as if trying to process the words again, but no matter how many times she replayed them, the meaning stayed the same.
Electra’s Phoenix side had just claimed her, too. Not as a friend, not as someone to tolerate, but as someone she was apparently dating alongside Electra.
Seraphina frowned, the confusion clear on her face. Her brows drew together, and she tilted her head slightly as she tried to wrap her mind around what had just happened.
E must have noticed, because a second later, she burst into a loud, amused laugh, the sound echoing through the quiet room like she had just heard the most hilarious thing ever.
"Oh, come on, you should see your face right now," E said, still laughing.
Before Seraphina could respond, Electra’s expression shifted again, softening back into something more familiar. She blinked, shook her head slightly as if shaking E off, and then turned her attention to Seraphina.
"Snap out of it, E," Electra muttered under her breath, then sighed and looked back at Seraphina with an apologetic smile. "Ignore her. She thinks she’s funny."
Seraphina crossed her arms and stared. "That was weird. Really weird."
Electra nodded in agreement. "Yeah, trust me, you’re not alone. I’ve barely been awake for two days straight, and I’m still getting used to having a second voice in my head, a voice that’s just as stubborn as I am, if not more."
She ran a hand through her hair and leaned back on her bed. "And about what she said... you’re with me. I’m the one who has feelings for you, not E. E doesn’t have any romantic interest in humans, but from what I can see, she just likes to stir up trouble."
Seraphina let out a long breath, her shoulders finally relaxing a bit. "I don’t know whether to be scared or fascinated."
Electra chuckled. "If I were you, I’d go with fascinated. She’s not all bad. Just a little dramatic."
There was a pause, a quiet moment that seemed like it might shift into something more serious, but then Seraphina tilted her head again, her tone playful.
"So... does this mean that when we, you know... have sex, E’s watching? Like, does she experience the pleasure, too? Would I be killing two birds with one stone?"
Electra froze, and the room went dead silent for a beat.
"...Seraphina," Electra said, eyes wide, "how did your mind even go there so fast?"
Seraphina shrugged, looking completely unbothered. "I was just wondering!"
Electra burst into laughter, grabbing a pillow from behind her and smacking it lightly against Seraphina’s shoulder. "You’re unbelievable."
"You didn’t answer the question," Seraphina teased, leaning in closer now.
Electra blinked, suddenly aware of just how close they were. Her voice came out softer. "Okay. Well... kind of? I mean, she’s a part of me, so she’s always sort of present, but she doesn’t get involved. She’s not like... peeking through the blinds."
"Oh, don’t lie to her," E interrupted. "It’s not like I can just switch off the senses. I feel what you feel, but I don’t care for it. I’m not into humans. So she’s your girlfriend, not mine. And as for the pleasure, well, lucky me, I guess!"
Electra turned bright red. "She’s joking. Ignore her."
"Not joking," E added casually. "But not bothered either. I’ll just mind my business."
Seraphina laughed, biting her lip like she was enjoying this a little too much. "Well, that clears that up. I think."
Electra leaned back, exhaling slowly as she tried to find her balance again. "Can we please move on from this topic? I feel like I just walked into a fever dream."
"Sure," Seraphina said, resting her head on Electra’s shoulder. "But for the record, I don’t mind. You and E can argue over who gets to be the dominant one."
Electra choked. "Seraphina!"
She just smiled innocently. "What? You brought this on yourself."
"You’re unbelievable," Electra murmured, leaning in.
Seraphina smiled sweetly. "Pretty sure you like that about me."
Electra didn’t respond. Instead, she closed the gap between them, capturing Seraphina’s lips in a slow, deep kiss that left no room for doubt, and somewhere, faintly, from deep inside, they both heard E groan dramatically.
"Oh, for the love of the gods, is this what I’ll have to deal with? You two are disgusting."
Electra barely acknowledged E’s grumbling voice echoing in her head. She wasn’t interested in the inner banter or complaining. She just wanted to focus on the softness of Seraphina’s lips pressed against hers, the way their breath mingled, and how their bodies melted into one another like they had been waiting for this moment forever.
The kiss was slow at first, hesitant even, like they were testing the waters, but then Electra cupped Seraphina’s cheek, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss until it became hungry and breathless.
Seraphina responded in kind, her fingers threading through Electra’s hair, tugging gently as she leaned in with more force. Their lips danced, parted, pressed, and explored, and their tongues met and teased.
Electra gently pushed Seraphina back onto the bed, climbing on top of her and settling into her comfortably. Their kisses became more urgent and even more possessive, and Electra’s hands roamed, brushing along Seraphina’s waist, her sides, her thighs—everywhere she could reach.
Seraphina’s body arched into her touch, her breathing growing heavier with each passing second.
When Electra finally pulled back, her chest was heaving, her face flushed, and her lips slightly swollen from the intense make-out. She looked down at Seraphina, her heart thundering in her chest, and before she could stop herself, the words slipped out.
"I love you."
Seraphina froze under her, just for a moment. It wasn’t a long pause, but it was enough for Electra to panic. Her eyes widened as she realized what she had just said.
"I—I don’t think I’ve ever said that out loud before," she added quickly, nervously. "I’m sorry if I made things weird. I didn’t mean to spring that on you so suddenly."
Seraphina blinked, her expression unreadable for a heartbeat, and then she laughed, softly at first, then with a delighted grin.
She leaned up, brushing her lips against Electra’s again. This time, her kiss was deeper, almost feral, like the words Electra had spoken had only ignited something stronger inside her. When she finally pulled away, she smiled with tear-glossed eyes.
"I love you too," Seraphina whispered. "So much, it actually hurts sometimes. I love you so much that I don’t think I could live without you."
Electra felt her throat tighten, her heart blooming with something that felt like hope and longing all wrapped together.
She let out a breathless laugh. "You know you’re only eighteen, right? You could change your mind later, kid." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
Seraphina narrowed her eyes playfully and pressed a finger against Electra’s lips. "Shush. Don’t ruin it."
Then she kissed her again.
This kiss was also different. It was purposeful, passionate, and heavy with all the things words couldn’t say. Her hands gripped Electra’s waist tightly, pulling her closer as their bodies pressed firmly together.
She trailed her kisses lower, along Electra’s jawline, then to her neck. She found a spot just beneath Electra’s ear and kissed it softly, then with more fervor, her lips warm and insistent. Electra let out a soft gasp, her fingers gripping the sheets as Seraphina continued.
"I swear I missed you so much," she whispered against Electra’s skin. "I missed kissing you, holding you, and making love to you."
Electra tilted her head to give Seraphina more access, her eyes fluttering closed. "I missed you too. So damn much."
Seraphina smiled against her neck, kissing her again and again, slower this time, savoring the moment.
Her hands slid up beneath Electra’s shirt, fingertips brushing warm skin, tracing the curve of her waist and back. She kissed her way down from Electra’s collarbone to her shoulder, her breath hot and ticklish against Electra’s skin.
"I can’t wait to do this all night," she murmured, her voice low and husky, filled with longing. "To make up for every second we lost."
Electra’s body reacted to the promise in her words, her breath hitching and her heart racing.
She leaned down again, capturing Seraphina’s lips, pouring everything she felt—the love, the ache, and the heat—into the kiss.
