No one could know what happened inside the space that Liora had glimpsed during her descent to this world.

The only thing that everyone on the battlefield could see was that the space above the Demon God shattered, and a sword fell right into his right hand.

The Demon God showed a nostalgic look. His fingers brushed against the sword’s surface, showing intimacy as well as hesitation.

But soon, that hesitation was wiped out.

His expression grew cold.

He stared at Mayven and then the rest of the Demon Sovereigns, with boundless murderous intent emanating off his body.

"You forced me to do this! Why? Why do you have to force me?!", he muttered a few words that few people could understand before he waved his Demon Weapon and slashed at them.

Though the Demon God’s aura had remained the same, everyone, including Mayven, felt a huge sense of threat.

They had a hunch that if they were to face his attack, they would surely die! 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"Cooperate with me! Defend together!", Mayven yelled, and the Clan Heads instinctively did as told.

Their Divine Aura surged, and their Demon Weapons displayed their supreme power, working with the black serpent to form a wall of defense.

The wall succeeded in withstanding the impact at first.

But before anyone could be happy, a wailing sound echoed. The Demon Weapons trembled, and cracks appeared on their surfaces.

Blood poured out of the Clan Heads’ mouths, affected by their weapon’s state.

The Demon God did not care. His aura became even more ordinary as he waved his sword once again, launching another attack.

Although Liora was not the target, her Void Whisper was activated and warned her of danger.

Unlike the Demon Sovereigns, who could not understand why this had happened, Liora could see two large threads growing out of the void and piercing through the Demon God’s body, pulsating eerily and supplying him with strength.

Though that power was not his own, it was enough to make him equivalent to a peak Greater Devil.

No! As more power poured into his body, the Demon God became even stronger. Before long, he could barely contend against an Archdevil.

Liora’s eyes narrowed as she focused on the two pulsating threads.

Her mind raced, and she soon recognized their aura.

"The two higher-level worlds surrounding this one!"

"Has the Demon God been corrupted by their power? Is this why he didn’t summon his Demon Weapon before?"

"No wonder he was so desperate to obtain the power of Nothingness. Does he want to use it to get rid of their influence?"

Liora’s mind quickly pieced together all the clues, and she gained a rough understanding of the situation.

If her guess was true, then the following events were bound to be dangerous.

A sane Demon God might not be willing to be her enemy, but a corrupted Demon God would surely try to get rid of her.

At this point, the smartest decision was for Liora to leave this place and return to the Demon World.

Sensing the warnings of Void Whisper become more and more obvious, Liora understood that it wouldn’t take long.

Her eyes flickered.

A contemplative look flashed across her face, and many emotions alternated before they finally settled into one of madness.

The crimson color in her eyes became deeper.

"Just take a gamble! Even if it fails, I will at most be severely injured and fall into slumber!"

"Even if I were to die, there is still a chance for me to revive hundreds or thousands of years later!", Liora whispered inwardly, and she was no longer as hesitant.

Ignoring the battlefield around her, she suddenly moved and rushed into the distance.

No one had time to pay attention to her, and thus no one stopped her movements.

Before long, Liora had arrived at the Demon God’s Cemetery.

Although the battle had been going on for a while and even a Demon Sovereign had perished, the demi-plane had not suffered any damage throughout this time.

Liora could sense the sweet World Origin lying inside, as well as the boundless life force of the demons.

Her mind moved.

The ability she had gained by completing the third level of the World Devourer Method was activated.

Instantly, her body grew bigger.

Her skin cracked, her bones shattered, and blood seeped out as her body found it difficult to accommodate her increased size.

Fortunately, Indestructible Matter quickly poured out and prevented her from exploding.

Her transformation was almost instantaneous. One second, she was in her original form, and the next moment, she had grown into a more-than-one-hundred-meter giant.

Liora did not have the time to admire her condition, though.

Sensing the battlefield behind her grow more intense and the power of the two higher-level worlds arriving, she took action.

Her right hand drilled through several space layers and arrived before the demi-plane, before enlarging even further. Or rather, it was the continent below that had become smaller.

In the eyes of the demons within the cemetery, a massive hand suddenly appeared in the sky and reached down.

Five fingers clasped around the continent before they pulled it away.

Feeling the weight of the continent in her hand and knowing that her Indestructible Matter would soon run out, Liora understood that she did not have much time.

After taking a last look at the tiny demons and Evil Spirits below, she tossed the continent into her mouth as if it were a snack.

Devour was activated.

The continent dissolved and transformed into a boundless source of energy, energy that poured into Liora’s body.

Half of it turned into World Origin, while the other half transformed into Indestructible Matter.

Instantly, her Manifestation manipulated the latter. It controlled the Indestructible Matter to wash over her body, slowly integrating with it.

At the same time, the World Devourer Method began to operate on its own.

Liora’s connection with the Land of Nothingness became even more intimate.

Before long, her bloodline started to boil on its own.

Liora found that she could no longer suppress her own advancement.
