Evolving Infinitely From An E-Class Hero-Chapter 33: Killed The Second
Suddenly, the Forever Pikes erupted with a surge of golden electricity dome completely shielding the three of us and all the minions within range.
"Incinerate..."
Golden blast of energy fired from the pikes, taking out the minions inside the domain one by one.
The domain prevented other minions from coming close to us but the ones inside could very much exist the domain in retreat.
"Nice..." I muttered.
It was quite the feat, the ability of the Forever Armor to instantly adapt to any situation that presented itself.
At this pace, becoming an S-Class was inevitable.
In a matter of seconds, the minions inside the domain were either dead or had retreated outside of the dome.
The herd perched outside the dome, trying to force their way in. Each time they came in contact with the golden electrified dome, they were met with a terrifying shock.
Thunderlash and Ice Blast recovered from the brutal assault, I could feel their stares heaving at me as the acknowledged my competence.
"The moment you exist the domain, you cannot return..." I blurred out with every sign of intention and focus.
"You two take care of the minions, avoid the infected humans if you come across them..."
"You, what will you do?" Thunderlash asked.
"Leave the boss to me...".
They both raised a surprised eyebrow at my statement.
"Understood..."
We poised to attack.
"Lets go..."
Crackle!! Crackle!! Crackle!!
The sound of the domain walls shrieked as Thunderlash and Ice Blast blasted towards the sea of minions.
However, I stared at Mamrah and I noticed he too was glaring at me, as if waiting for me to make a move.
I could sense his agitation quite clearly.
I activated my ’Cloaking Skill’ and immediately the domain collapsed.
I sprinted across the square with amazing speed, making a bee line for Mamrah.
In the blink of an eye, I leaped into the air and activated the Forever Daggers, infusing it with golden flames.
Boom!
We clashed face to face as Mamrah raised his crude weapon at the last minute to block my attack.
A huge explosion of noise spread out as a result of our clash. Mamrah was shoved off his platform, while I was flung the other way by the rebound as well.
I stopped rolling on the ground and got up at the same time as Mamrah. My eyes grew wider as the realization dawned on me that he could block my attack even when I had Cloaking Skill active.
’How did he see me?’ I thought to myself.
There was no use keeping it active, so my full frame came to view.
I quickly glanced backwards to check on Thunderlash and Ice Blast. They were holding up very well themselves but we’re soon to be overwhelmed by the minions and their numbers.
We glared at each other for a brief moment. Then, almost out of pure instinct we dashed towards eachother.
Gaaaaahk!
Mamrah slashed his claws through the air and five razor sharp projectiles blasted forward towards me.
"Launch-able claws?"
I continued to run forward while dodging the claws heading straight for me by paper thin margin.
I swallowed my saliva hard as I shortened the gap between me and Mamrah.
"I can do this!"
No, I simply HAD to do this, defeating Mamrah was the second step to successfully bringing peace to Sector D.
Swish!
Mamrah slashed down diagonally with his weapon, and I raised my Forever Dagger in my right hand to block it, before using the other dagger to stab it’s shoulder.
Squelch!
The blade infused with golden energy pierced through its skin like a pin through cushion.
Mamrah let out a short scream and I yanked out the blade from its skin and drifted backwards to regroup.
I landed a successful attack on the target. That good, considering how hard I was predicting it to be before we started.
Mamrah plunged again.
Both my daggers and Mamrahs crude weapon swished and swung and clashed against each other countless times, leaving behind several wounds on its body and several hit had successfully made contact with my suit.
Clang! Clankkkk!
A final clash of our weapons and Mamrahs crude instrument finally gave in due to its lack of durability.
Even with the deep wound on its shoulder, and loosing its weapon, Mamrah still preserved with his claws slashing everything golden and black in sight like a wild cat.
We both locked hands into a wrestling position, trying to overthrow eachother with a showoff of strength.
I was naturally going to loose that battle because of my size in comparison to Mamrahs.
I needed to break the deadlock.
Tti-ring.
Out of the blue, my instinct kicked in as I followed the instruction given to me by my system. It identified a weak point in Mamrahs physique.
The taller the creature, the weaker its knees.
Bam!
I slammed the heel of my feet into the left knee it the blood thirsty feline, bringing it down to one knee.
Before, it could recover from the confusion. I slammed my fist hard into it’s face.
Ka-boom!!
Sending it tumbling on the ground only coming to a stop after rolling on the ground for dozens of meters.
I dashed towards him with the speed of light, grabbed it by the arm and lunged it as hard as I could into a van.
Too bad, I couldn’t kill it right away. If not I would have Incinerated it from the beginning.
I wanted to see if it could communicate about the whereabouts of Gravehowl.
I dashed closer to the large cat and leaned in.
"Where is Gravehowl..." I asked, my voice deep and threatening.
It only replied with a hiss and slashed at me with it claws.
I dodged and pinned one arm to the side of the huge van.
"Incinerate..."
Zap!
I blasted its right arm clean off its shoulders, the side of the can went with it.
"I said... Where is Gravehowl...?" I intoned.
It still hissed again and groaned in pain.
"You can’t talk..."
"Then you have no use to me being alive... I will end you now so that no wan can reanimate you again."
I placed both my palms on its chest and furrowed my brows fully.
"Incinerate..."
